Former America's Next Top Model host Rita Ora made an apology post for her fan and is really sorry if she hurt you by expressing herself in her new song.  In the same post, Rita identifies as a bisexual and a LGBTQ+ icon.

This is in response to her new song "Girls" which made some feel uncomfortable and even Hayley Kiyoko publicly slammed the message of the song and you can see the original post here.

-Perhaps the ghostwriters got tired after the first few books, because they took a turn with "temporary paralysis, cult abductions, manslaughter, doppelgangers, werewolves, vampires, hidden treasure, terrorism, and face-stealing"
-Regina Morrow's tragic death of doing cocaine once and OD-ing seems to have shaken pre-teen fans (so says the source who did an informal poll)
-Who knew all of this was possible coming from a idealistic California town?

DC Universe orders Doom Patrol live action series

-DC is betting A LOT of money on their new streaming service with a mixture of live action and animated series helping launch the service.

-Doom Patrol is the most recent show to be ordered by the streaming service. Doom Patrol will spin out of the Titans series (bye bye Arrowverse...hello Titans-verse).

-Doom Patrol will star the classic line up: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). Each of whom suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities.





-In a move that probably means that DC is giving up on the Cyborg movie and Ray Fisher in general....Cyborg (DC still trying to make him happen) will bring the Doom Patrol together with the following series description:
Picking up after the events of Titans, Doom Patrol will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

- Thomas stars as Nicholas, a "typical 25-year old" who lives with his father and two teenage half-sisters, one of whom has autism. "However, when their dad becomes terminally ill, the girls have to cope with not only a devastating loss but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to hold it all together."

The New York Times Style Magazine has proclaimed that we are now in the Age of the Twink. Cites a scene in Call Me By Your Name and calls out Timothee Chalamet as the ultimate twink.

Other variations of a modern day twink include twunks like Zac Efron and femme twinks like Adam Rippon. The latest trend of twinks are "art twinks" many of whomst are straight like "Ready Player One" lead Tye Sheridan, Lucas Hedges from "Lady Bird", Nick Robinson from "Love, Simon" or music star Shawn Mendes.

Diane Kruger (Probably) Expecting Her First Child with 'Walking Dead' Star Norman Reedus

Rumors are rampant at the Cannes Film Festival this week that Diane Kruger is pregnant with her first child, presumably by her boyfriend of the last couple of years, The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus (Reedus already has an 18-year-old son, Mingus, with supermodel Helena Christensen).

Kruger has appeared on the red carpet wearing only loose, billowing gowns, wide tops or covered up in a large pink coat. And witnesses have said that she is abstaining from all alcohol at the parties.

Kruger, 41, and Reedus, 49, met on the set of their 2015 film Sky and there were reports that they had been seen passionately kissing in New York, even though she was in a longterm relationship with The Affair's Joshua Jackson at the time. Kruger and Jackson officially broke up in 2016, and she has been an item with Reedus ever since.

- Michael introduced "Matt" (pragmatic, down to earth, genuine, endearing)

- Matt claims his sibling cured a speech disorder through Keith Raniere's tech. Says “What if I told you you could get exactly what you want in life? Our patented technology is designed to help you reveal your full potential — and utilize it.”

- Matt addressed concerns preemptively

- They cared about pedigree: Harvard Business School, Wharton, Deloitte, McKinsey, Broadway, Hollywood

- ~$3,000 for a five-day program or ~$7,500 for 16 days

- Asked for specifics, Matt says "...our technology is proprietary. Instead, we want to focus on what you’ll gain."

- Reps cornered those hesitating and tried different techniques ("invest in yourself" and more personal success stories).

- They eventually dropped the hard sell but brought it up again later in the night, as the atmosphere relaxed.

- Thought about it for weeks but couldn't afford to go through with it.

- Doesn't think Michael knew about what happened at the top: "While cults can be evil, the people within them are human. No one is immune from being swindled. There’s usually a cozy setting and lovely little party to kick things off."

- on 'Bubbles': "I always wanted to do a side project while making other films. It’s the fascinating and hilarious story of Michael Jackson’s chimpanzee, the life and times. We’re all fascinated by Michael, but what about the characters on the periphery? No one ever asks about Bubbles and how he felt during that time."
- Netflix acquired 'Bubbles' last year; it is to be stop-motion animation
- on the 'What We Do in the Shadows' tv spin-off: "It’s the same universe, but different characters. It’s like a documentary crew in New York found this new bunch of vampires."
- stars Kayvan Novak (Danger Mouse), Matt Berry (Toast of London), Natasia Demetriou (Year Friends) and Harvey Guillen (The Thundermans); Waititi will not be appearing onscreen and will likely have limited involvement
- on 'Thor: Ragnarok': "Thor was such huge comfort shift, and something I was not prepared for at all. But with my smaller films, I wasn’t feeling very challenged; I wasn’t feeling out of my comfort zone."
- was surprised by the jokes Kevin Feige allowed into the film and that executives did not often visit the set (the film was shot in Australia), but realized that anything could have been changed in post-production
- on 'Jojo Rabbit': "It’s really upbeat fun, it’s a heartfelt, dark comedy, I didn’t even have to pitch it to Fox Searchlight. It’s really hard to pitch WWII movies, and then you say, don’t worry, it’s going to be funny.”
- 'Jojo Rabbit' will start shooting in two weeks in Prague, and stars Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell

Because idr seeing news on Sam Rockwell's casting, here's some bonus info on that, as well as a bit more information on 'Jojo Rabbit' in general:

- Rockwell plays a Nazi captain who runs a Hitler Youth camp, joining Johansson as Jojo's mother and Waititi as an imaginary version of Adolf Hitler
- "The story centers on Jojo, a young boy who longs to be part of the Hitler Youth and whose imaginary friend is Adolf Hitler. He discovers a Jewish girl living in his attic and, after initially trying to find ways to get rid of her, begins to see her as human"

Lana Del Rey shuts down fan selfie: "You know what, fuck it"

TMZ got a video of Lana shutting down a fan's selfie last Monday night at the Met Gala. Lana got irritated that the fan wanted to switch things up while she was trying to take the selfie.

Sources say the fan caught Lana heading back to her hotel after the Gala, and got a standard photo with her. Then he asked for a selfie, giving her the camera... but when he didn't like the angle, he attempted to take control of his own camera to get a better shot. She wasn't having any of it.

She throws the phone back at the fan and says "You know what, fuck it." The fan is left shook and speechless.
