'Walking Dead' Season 9 Set Photos

Cast members of The Walking Dead were seen filming season 9 on Thursday near Atlanta.

Most of the cast is either on horseback or riding in horse-drawn wagons, with the notable exception of Norman Reedus (Reedus has said in the past that his character, Daryl Dixon, was originally supposed to ride a horse back in season one but he begged them to give him a motorcycle instead because he has a rabid fear of horses and is too scared to get near one).

  • Jonah kissed Amy and they ended up having sex which was accidentally broadcast live to Cloud Nine superstores around the world

David Chang talks subtle racism and Asian food with Stephen Colbert

  • David Chang is a restauranteur (the founder of Momofuku), an author, and the host of the Netflix show Ugly Delicious.
  • During his interview with Stephen Colbert this week, Chang talked about the subtle racism people have toward Asian food.
  • He brings up MSG (monosodium glutamate), which he calls "villified salt." Chang mentions how people will avoid Chinese food because it has MSG, but they don't say the same thing about other foods that most likely have MSG, too. David references a recent story of a Pensacola woman who didn't know she was pregnant, and she mistook labor pains for side effects from eating "bad" Chinese food.
  • He adds that people can be sensitive to MSG, but they can't be allergic to it because human bodies need glutamic acid.
  • Another example Chang brough up about racism was kimichi and sauerkraut - they're both fermented cabbage. Yet a lot of people in the U.S. won't even try kimichi because it's too "weird" whereas sauerkraut is pretty much a standard on hot dogs in many areas nowadays.
  • David is a renowned chef, but he loves Domino's Pizza.

No Nobel Prize in Literature for 2018

Background
The Swedish Academy was founded in 1786 and is one of Sweden's most important institutions. It has awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature since 1901. It consists of eighteen members who are elected for life, unless kicked out.

In 2017 eighteen women accused Jean-Claude Arnault, the husband of Katarina Frostenson, a member of the Academy, of rape, sexual harassment, and other kinds of abuse. Arnault and Frostenson own an establishment in Stockholm with a lot of influence in the Swedish literature scene.

After the abuse allegations, it was revealed that the club owned by the couple had received money from the Academy's grants.



In April, the Academy declined to exclude Frostenson. Peter Englund, Klas Östergren and Kjell Espmark resigned in protest over the Academy's handling of the scandal.

Later, Katarina Frostenson and the Academy's constant secretary Sara Danius both resigned.

People were pissed that two women were taking the fall in a scandal over a man's treatment of women. The picture is of a protest held in support of Danius.

Then, Horace Engdahl,remaining member and friend of Jean-Claude Arnault, gave an interview where he attacked Sara Danius, who had led the attempts to critically examine the Academy's role in corruption and sexual abuse. Sara Stridsberg resigned.

Since people can't leave the Academy, only stop participating, there are now only 10 active members.


Now:

No prize will be awarded this year, for the first time since 1949.

Instead, two prizes will be awarded next year.

This is a result of the fact that no one likes or trusts the Academy anymore.

Royal Wedding update: Meghan Markle's father will walk her down the aisle + more

Once again proving that Meghan's shitty half-brother doesn't know shit about her or her life, Kensington Palace announced this morning that Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, will walk her down the aisle. Both of her parents will be arriving in the UK the week of the wedding to meet Harry's family and spend time with them. Meghan's mother, Doria, will travel with her by car to Windsor Castle, on the day of the wedding.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana's siblings will all attend. One of them, Lady Jane Fellowes, will give a reading during the ceremony, to help celebrate her sister's memory.

Other details, such as the bridal party, will be announced in the coming days. Since Meghan couldn't choose between her friends, there will be no maid of honor. The full Order of Service will be online Saturday morning so the public can follow along.

Guests will be arriving at the wedding between nine and eleven in the morning at the South Door of St. George's Chapel. The Royal Family will start arriving around 11:20AM. William and Harry are showing up on foot.

The media will cover Meghan and Doria's exit from their overnight location, which will include the Long Walk. Both Harry and Meghan are entering via the West Steps.

The photographs of the wedding will be released the following week. The two of them will delay their honeymoon for a bit, spending their wedding night overnight in Windsor Castle, and then go on an engagement just days afterwards.

So, another Infinity War post! YAY. While we keep processing 'Infinity War' and try to guess what's gonna happen...what are the chances that Infinity War crosses over with Arrested Development?? QUITE HIGH.... CAUSE IT ALREADY HAPPENED!!

Previously on Arrested Development the Marvel Cinematic Universe...

During 'Captain America: Civil War' one of the best scenes was the airport fight in which Team Cap faced Team IronMan, one particular shot stood out. The one in which Antman and Captain America throw a toy truck to Team IronMan, but you can see in the background that the iconic Bluth staircar was in the airport during the battle.




So, was that enough?!! NOOOO!!!

Fast forward to 'Avengers infinity War', during the scene in which Starlord, Gamora, Drax and Manthis visit the Collector, you can see Tobias in blue right in the back, in one of the pods.



He's still in his iconic blue costume after he auditioned for the blue man group.



It could've been some random blue alien, until you see the Infinity War credits:



So, it WAS Tobias!!!



What can we expect later? The remaining Avengers in Arrested Development season 5? The Snap deleting season 4?! Mrs Featherbottom becoming an Avenger?!!

Today Rita announced that she doesn't exactly know how Scrabble works and also that her new single Girls will be out May 11th.

The song originally featured MØ and Charli XCX and was planned to be Rita's first single last May but "Your Song" came along and they released that instead. MØ was eventually replaced by Cardi B (one of Rita's labelmates at Atlantic) and Bebe Rexha.

Cardi B hinted at the collaboration a few months ago.
