- In a lengthy Instagram post Kaya Wilkins talks about being hospitalised over the past eight days after having a depressive episode triggered by bipolar disorder.

- On her debut album Both, "Some of the songs are about mental illness and erratic behavior, but the title is also a nod to being ambiguous in my sexual/racial/national identity, and learning to embrace that."

- She's taking a break from social media to heal and write music but wanted to share this because it "might be a form of catharsis".

- Janelle Monáe's album, Dirty Computer, comes out tomorrow and she's featured on the cover of Rolling Stone.
- She addresses her sexuality for the first time, "Being a queer black woman in America," she says, taking a breath as she comes out, "someone who has been in relationships with both men and women – I consider myself to be a free-ass motherfucker." She initially identified as bisexual, she clarifies, "but then later I read about pansexuality and was like, ‘Oh, these are things that I identify with too.' I'm open to learning more about who I am."
- She goes on to talk about her family (50 first cousins!) and her previous stuggles with her sexuality, and going through therapy.
- She talks about her relationship with Prince and how hard it was to finish the album without him.

HBO Cancels Here and Now After One Season

Alan Ball's trippy muti-ethnic family drama won't be getting a second season, as HBO has announced the cancellation of Here and Now just a week after its season finale. In a statement, an HBO representative said, “After careful consideration we have decided not to move forward with a second season of ‘Here and Now.’ We thank Alan for his dedication to innovative storytelling, and we look forward to his next endeavor.”

The Apprentice UK host Alan Sugar believed that Taylor Swift has a swastika tattoo on her face after seeing it on a satirical web site. Sugar tweeted: ‘Eh I don’t get this . Can someone explain is she making a statement or what ?

Sugar has a right to be perplexed by the mock picture of Swift. Many have pondered Swift's affiliation with Neo Nazi/Alt Right crowd as they appointed her as their Aryan Queen. The apolitical white devil has never denounced being apart of the white supremacy and went as far as sending a cease and desist letter to writer Meghan Herning after writing “Swiftly to the alt-right: Taylor subtly gets the lower case kkk in formation.” Swift is about to embark on her lackluster Republican Tour which has yet to sell out a date even with a discount ticketmaster provided.

Kelis Talks About Relationship With Nas; Including Physical Abuse

Kelis did a long interview with Hollywood Unlocked (which you can see under the cut) where she talks about her relationship with Nas.

Before the interview gets into the details, Kelis says: "I have edited myself for nine years and I woke up this morning and was like, 'not today'" (14:25). She then follows by talking about her marriage to Nas.





Kelis opens up physical abuse by Nas and insinuates that Nas has a drinking problem at 23:54 in the video.

She also adds: “When the Rihanna and Chris Brown pictures came out I thought about coming out because I also had bruises all over my body. But I didn’t say anything because I’m private. But seeing her the way she looked and then looking at myself… I felt embarrassed.”

New Star Wars Animated Series Announced "Star Wars Resistance" takes place before the Force Awakens

  • The show will take place before "The Force Awakens" and it's said to be anime-inspired

  • The show will be revolved around Kazuda Xiono (voiced by Hawaii Five-0's Christopher Sean) who is recruited by the resistance for a top-secret mission to spy on the growing powers of the First Order

  • Familiar faces such as BB-8, Poe Dameron, and Captain Phasma are set to show up in the series with Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie returning to voice their roles

  • Other voice actors include Suzie McGrath (East Enders), Scott Lawrence (Legion), Myrna Velasco (Elena of Avalor), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Bobby Moynihan (Duck Tales), Jim Rash (Community), and Rachel Butera (Tammy’s Tiny Tea Time)

  • Star Wars animation veteran showrunner Dave Filoni (Clone Wars, Rebels) is spearheading the show along with Athena Portillo, Justin Ridge, and Brandon Auman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

  • The show is expected to air sometime in Fall first on Disney Channel then on Disney XD

John Legend reaches out to Kanye privately and Kanye tweets it out

This morning John Legend texted Kanye and asked him to reconsider what he was aligning himself with and the harm he was doing. Kanye replied by thanking him for the compliments, telling John he wasn't going to let John manipulate his thought, and tweeting out a screenshot of their exchange.

John seemed to take the sharing of their conversation fairly well.

While on the red carpet for Infinity War, Whedon was asked about his leaked Wonder Woman script and the backlash it received.

“I don’t know which parts people didn’t like but I went and re-read the script after I heard there was a backlash...I think it’s great. People say that it’s not woke enough. I think they’re not looking at the big picture. It’s easy to take one phrase out of context, and not that I was the most woke individual who ever lived at that time, 10 years ago. But I was in there swinging and the movie has integrity and the characters have integrity and I stand by it.”

  • MRSHLL (real name: Marshall Bang) is a Korean-American musician from Anaheim, California.
  • He appeared on Show Me The Money, a hip-hop oriented music competition TV show that airs in South Korea.
  • His first EP comes out next month.
  • Bang is openly gay, He came out to his mother by telling her in Korean. He didn't speak it well, though, which ultimately confused his mother. His parents continue to process his sexuality while still pestering him about getting married and starting a family.
  • He is also a Christian: "If being gay is a sin, I don’t understand why being gay is so much more worse than lying and cheating and all these other things that people readily accept in Christianity."
  • Bang, growing up around religion and in a conservative Korean family, avoided his sexuality by focusing on music. Whether it was singing in his church choir or making cover videos for YouTube.
  • You can hear him in his recent collaboration "Dive" with djfriz and Megan Lee.
