• Dakota Johnson recently did an interview with Elle magazine and briefly discussed her upcoming film, the remake of the horror classic Suspiria.


• On filming Suspiria: "no lie, fucked me up so much that I had to go to therapy”


• Suspiria was filmed in a "an abandoned hotel on top of a mountain. It had 30 telephone poles on the roof, so there was electricity pulsating through the building, and everyone was shocking each other. It was cold as shit, and so dry.”


• Dakota will be starring in the film, playing the lead character Suzy Bannion.

Saoirse Ronan plays Florence in the upcoming On Chesil Beach, the newest film adaptation of an Ian McEwan novel. She previously earned three Oscar noms for her work in another McEwan adaption, Atonement

She says this new movie, which follows a young couple's self-destruction due to fear of intimacy, offers a realistic depiction of sex and marriage instead of the usual fairytale:

"There are some harsh truths that people want to escape from when they go to see a film, but at the same time, I know as a girl growing up in this day and age what it means to watch something like Lena Dunham’s Girls and to see real sex and how messy it is. I think boys and girls feel a lot of pressure to perform in a particular way," she says.

• Former musician Iggy Azalea did a recent interview with GQ about her career highs and lows (no hit songs after her first album, a cancelled tour, a scrapped follow-up album, and very public relationship drama).


• Iggy discusses race, which was a topic often brought up by her critics when she used to be successful. She recognizes that in America, institutionalized racism exists, and that people of a certain race have more privilege than others. Azalea states that she was born into a situation where there was no privilege, though.


• She continues to say: "I worked really hard. A lot of my childhood is overlooked. People assume they know my life because Australia is a nice beautiful country. It's tough because I want you to acknowledge my work and to understand that this wasn't easy, but I also don't want to detract from or trivialize any people of colors' position because that's legitimate."

Taylor Swift continues her slow crawl back to country with another calculated crossover song, this time using Sugarland to get her name back on the lips of Nashville radio DJs. -Effectively ends the state's two-year investigation into how Prince got the fentanyl that killed him.

-Prince died two years ago because he thought he was taking the painkiller Vicodin when, unbeknownst to him, it was laced with deadly fentanyl.

-No one will be charged with a crime because there's no evidence showing how he got fake Vicodin laced with fentanyl.

-Prosecutor says neither Prince nor anyone around him knew he was addicted to fentanyl. (I find this hard to believe.)

-Says there's no evidence of probable cause, and no evidence that these laced pills were prescribed by a doctor.

-Prosecutor added that because no charges will be filed, most of the case file on the investigation would be made public in a few days, but not the full autopsy report, which remains sealed under Minnesota law.
