Ben Schwartz to star in Showtime Pilot 'The Wrong Mans'

Former House of Pies star Benny Schwaz has been cast in a Showtime pilot called The Wrong Mans, based on the BBC series created by James Corden and Mathew Baynton. The Showtime version will be written by Corden, Baynton and Ian Maxtone-Graham.

The show, a collaboration with Bad Robot, is an action comedy about two office workers whose lives are turned upside by a case of mistaken identity. Corden and Baynton starred in the original BBC show, but the person starring with Schwartz has not yet been announced.

    Domhnall Gleeson in Talks to Join Elisabeth Moss in New Line Crime Drama 'The Kitchen'

    The movie is set in the 1970s and follows the wives of Irish mobsters who end up taking over the crime business after their husbands are arrested and jailed.

    Gleeson’s character Gabriel O’Malley has been described as an intense Vietnam veteran who worked as a hitman for the local gangsters before skipping town to avoid the police. In the film he makes his return to settle scores when the wives take over and ends up falling in love with Moss’ character.

    The cast includes Tiffany Haddish and Melissa McCarthy.
