- Lorde didn't seem to realize the connection at first, but fans did: Whitney accidentally drowned in a bathtub.

Harry and Meghan visited the Invictus Games team trials this morning.




Lifetime has also released a new trailer for the movie they're airing May 13th.















Meghan flew back to LA for Easter and shared wedding details - along with designs of her dress - with her mom. Her mother's planning on flying to London soon to help out.




Patrick J. Adams won't say whether or not he's going to the wedding but may give them a Vitamix.

'A Quiet Place' kicks off this weekend's box office with $4.3M from Thursday previews

This weekend's full of newly-released critically-acclaimed and anticipated movies (which is weird for early April).

The comedy 'Blockers', starring John Cena and Leslie Mann, already made $1.5 million from Thursday night previews. It's up against horror flick 'A Quiet Place', with $4.3M on Thursday and 'You Were Never Really Here' (in limited release). Given the first two movies' budgets (see below), both are expected to be hits, commercially and critically.

-- 'Blockers' (RT score at 82%) is estimated to make over $20M this weekend, which was the production budget for the comedy.
-- 'A Quiet Place' (RT score at 97%) is expected to make around $20M as well, and was produced for $17M.
-- Last weekend's top spotter, Spielberg's borefest 'Ready Player One,' has made $59M so far (on a $175 million[!!!!] budget, yikes - though I'm sure WB is thanking God over China's BO for it), and would have to make around $26M at least to keep the top spot. It'll be a tight race this weekend.

Ellie Goulding admitted in a recent interview that it wasn't her idea to address Recording Academy President Neil Portnow's comments on women needing to step up in her speech at the Brit awards:
"To be completely honest with you, I was asked to say that. I didn’t want to say no, because I thought it was something that should have been said by someone. I was like 'if no one else is going to say it, then I’ll say it'".

Ellie Goulding says she massively respects the Grammys but she still wishes for "a little bit more equality".

- 'Pretty Little Liars' star Shay Mitchell's got a secret. She's known for her globetrotting vacations, but now she's being accused of sharing existing Internet photos on her Instagram and passing them off as her own.
- For instance, Shay shared a photo of the Monster Complex in Hong Kong with the caption "Night views." Yet her followers noticed a cursor in the photo. Anyone who Google searches the image will get a result of the same stock photo from the Hong Kong branch of Canon's website.
- There's more "evidence" at the source if you care.
- Shay is in fact vacationing overseas in China, etc. and appears in most of her photos from the trip. So, she's not faking all of them.

Johnny Marr: New Album Teaser and Interview!

Music's vegan prince, Johnny Marr, has released a teaser for his new album called, "Call The Comet".

He also released a new track on Spotify and iTunes called "The Tracers" which is the full version of the track that appears in the teaser.

Earlier this year he released a spoken word collaboration with Maxine Peake (which you can see under the cut) called "The Priest". It does not appear on the new album.





-Although he says the new album is not a concept album, Marr talks about the "alternative reality" where this new album is set: "it's got a unifying theme going through it about the Earth welcoming a different intelligence from the cosmos to save us from our own plight. The title Call the Comet is sort of a conscious plea for a new way."

-On new song, "Bug": "That song is about the virus of right-wing ideology that is spreading through the nervous system of the Western world."

British photographer Sarah Dunn was hit by a car a couple of days ago while crossing in the street in L.A. According to a friend who posted using Dunn's intagram account, Dunn has suffered a traumatic brian injury.
