Anna Faris said she was annoyed at how some people mourned her break-up with Chris Pratt and dramatically proclaimed "love is dead", after holding the pair up as an example of the perfect couple.
Speaking to pal Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast, Anna said:
"We intentionally cultivated this idea of like, 'Look at this beautiful family.'"
"There were so many moments that were like that, but like anything on social media, you don’t post like, ‘Where the f--- is the toilet paper?!’ or whatever. I think it’s a very hard forum to be genuine, and I think it does a disservice to people to not be."
She and Pratt divorced in 2017 much to the shock of fans who had previously lauded their apparently strong relationship.
"Chris and I did talk about [the public reaction]. We got, like [people commenting] on the Twitter feed, 'Love is dead' and ‘relationship goals.'"
"I think what we were also guilty of — we obviously cultivated something, and it was rewarding for a while. It was like, 'People seem to think we got all this s--- right.'"

Were Anna and Chris a "relationship goals" couple, ONTD? I think the couple who most cultivated a false image of their marriage was Brangelina. They sure fooled the loons.
