-Black-Ish was set to air a political themed episode but it has been shelved after the creator Kenya Barris and ABC didn't see eye to eye on it.

-Episode was titled "Please, Baby, Please" where Dre (Anthony Anderson) tells his newborn son his concerns over the current state of the union as opposed to a classic bedtime story. Dre and Junior go on to argue over the controversial topic of athletes bending the knee during the national anthem.

-Creator Kenya Barris also directed the episode.

-Premieres March 27th

-Early reviews have been good though they note the weakest part is Roseanne being pro-Trump as it goes against everything the character stood for during the shows original run. Though she will be taken to task by her sister.

Hey, we can pay attention to figure skating when it's not the Olympics!

Some of the biggest drama at the 2018 Winter Olympics was the ladies' singles battle between Evgenia Medvedeva, the two-time world champion, and her younger teammate Alina Zagitova, culminating in Alina's narrow victory.

At the just-concluded 2018 World Junior Championships in Bulgaria, Russian girls' coach Eteri's new student, Alexandra Trusova, absolutely threw down, landing a quadruple Salchow and a quadruple toeloop in a triple-heavy program.

Only one woman had ever done a proper quad jump, Japan's Miki Ando, who also did a quad Salchow. No woman has ever done a quad toeloop, and never two quads in the same program.

Trusova's technical score for her free skate was 92.35, which is the highest technical score for a female skater of all-time (senior or junior). For comparison, in Pyeongchang the three highest technical scores in the ladies' event were 81.62 (Alina Zagitova), 79.18 (Evgenia Medvedeva), and 76.50 (Kaetlyn Osmond).

Journalist Brian Moylan Who Outed Lee Pace Also Targeted and Outed Anderson Cooper In the Past

– Gay freelance writer Brian Moylan got a lot of attention when his interview inadvertently led to Lee Pace coming out earlier this week.In an interview for W Magazine, Pace was comparing his current role in Angels In America with his 2011 role in The Normal Heart:“Our understanding of what it means to be gay is just so different ... It’s just so much further down the road. It’s an interesting thing for me to think about in this moment while working on this play.”
– Moylan then asked him if Lee identified as gay, to which Lee responded:“I've dated men. I've dated women,” he explained. “I don't know why anyone would care. I'm an actor and I play roles. To be honest, I don't know what to say—I find your question intrusive.”
– People were quick to criticize Pace for cornering himself, including many on ONTD. Why didn't Pace chart out every possible answer to every possible question iron-clad like fort knox instead of sort of slipping up but not really because of what I'm about to tell you like every other human being on this earth? But in reality this was no an innocent quesiton by Moylan – he previously outed Anderson Cooper.
– In 2009, Moylan published an article for Gawker titled "Anderson Cooper Is a Giant Homosexual and Everyone Knows It".In it, Moylan stalked and detailed the glass closet life of Cooper, including his openly gay life in Manhattan, bringing his boyfriend to an Oscar Vanity Fair party, partying with his boyfriend on a Mardi Gras float, and rumors from gay bars in NY.
– Moylan also lists celebrities like Hugh Jackman, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, as actors who if they *are* gay, they're doing it in secret – and he's fine with that. What Moylan had a problem with is the Jodie Fosters, Ricky Martins, Queen Latifahs, and Anderson Coopers of the world who live gay lives but refuse to acknowledge on a larger platform to the public. In his own words: "Cooper and his set of cohorts live openly gay lives — and that's a good thing — but they refuse to acknowledge what the public already knows."
– In 2012 after Cooper came out, Moylan defended himself. Cooper was living the life he lives now, he's just admitting it to everyone, because The LGBTQ community needs it. Cooper already appeared in OUT magazine and his sexuality had been factually stated by a celebrity in some newspaper one time so what he did was okay. In his own words, again: "Those are precisely the same reasons that fueled what I am happy to admit was my personal crusade to nudge Cooper slowly out of the closet, whether he wanted to come or not. Every gay New Yorker with a set of eyes and a membership to David Barton Gym could see the truth, and I thought it the height of hypocrisy not to report it. The same held for journalists who either refused to ask questions about Anderson's personal life or, even worse, those who knew or witnessed the answer and refused to put it down on the record out of some misguided quest of decency. They never would have done that to a straight news anchor they were profiling. Cooper did not keep this secret alone and I thought all his accomplices should be held accountable."
– In 2016, Moylan defended himself for outing Cooper again – and claimed it made Cooper a better journalist. He ultimately did him a favor. In his own words, one more time: "Years ago, when I was a journalist at Gawker, Cooper, then living in a glass closet, was my bête noir. In 2009, I wrote a story titled Anderson Cooper Is a Giant Homosexual and Everyone Knows It. I was not the first person to out Cooper but I was very persistent, regularly posting stories pleading with him to come out and show America that there is nothing shameful about being gay" [...] "Watching Cooper well up while reading the names of the Orlando victims is especially powerful because viewers know that the tragedy feels personal for him, as it is for all gay Americans. Watching Cooper stand up to Bondi is even more meaningful because not only is she being forced to answer for her anti-gay speech in the past, but she’s being held accountable for it by a gay man. His very existence, standing there in front of her in one of his dozens of tight black polo shirts, disproves her claim that gay people can do “harm”."
– Moylan also write an article in 2015 titled "There Is Nothing Wrong With Asking Tom Hardy About Sexuality" in response to the September 2015 incident during a press panel for the film Legend where a journalist asked Hardy about his his sexuality, referencing a 2008 statement on having gay flings in the past. In the film, Hardy plays two identical twins, Ronnie and Reggie Kray, the former of whom was said to be gay (Ronnie identified as bisexual in one interview, and it's rumored both brothers were, but back to the point).
– Moylan argues the question is relevant to his portrayal of Ronnie Kray, "That’s likely why the reporter asked about Hardy’s sexual orientation. It’s the same reason why a reporter might ask the man playing Jesus in a TV movie whether or not he was raised Christian. It doesn’t question his competence as an actor, but it does have relevance to what sort of personal experiences he brings to the role." Moylan also says the response to Hardy dismissing the question is homophobic because being gay is nothing to be ashamed of. Shame Moylan didn't a chance to out him too... and Hardy didn't even say anything about it's important for gay/bi actors to be in those roles!
– People are still pissed at Moylan for exploting Lee Pace. Given Moylan's history of behavior, it's clear he knew what he was doing in that interview. In Moylan's world, there is no room for living in the in-between or the glass closet. LGBTQ actors can't be afforded the luxury of just living the way they want: it's either the closet or the pedestal. Give this incident eight years (or maybe one or two re: the rapid news cycle compared to 2012) and I'm sure Moylan will be thanking his intrusive ass for something Pace ends up doing.

The actor running for congress appeared on The Ingraham Angle on Faux News to talk about the "hypocrisy" from hollywood on guns. (link to the vid interview if y'all can stomach it and giving faux news a hit

“These are the same people who thought Hillary Clinton was not only going to be president, but a good president,” actor Antonio Sabato Jr. told Chaffetz. “She left people to die in Benghazi. Let’s not forget that. We had the Academy Awards the other day protected by LAPD, armed bodyguards and guns all over the place.”

“The NRA has done more to protect people than Hollywood ever can, so let’s make sure people know the truth here,” he added.


Governor Rick Scott of Florida, enacted the bill.
*Raises the legal buying age from 18 to 21, but police officers underage can have them.
* No more bump stocks
* 3 day waiting period on all gun sales
*Makes it easier for police to confiscate if posing a danger to others
*Allows school staff to carry

Of course, the NRA is on a desperate streak and moves to sue the state, saying it "breaches the second amendment".

ONTD Original: Villains who found redemption

Given the recent news that Daisy Ridley believes that Kylo Ren can be redeemed, it's time to take a trip down memory road of past Villains who got their redemption and some who are on their possible journey's towards redemption.


Name: Xena
Tv Show: Xena: Warrior Princess
Best Villain Moment: Attempting to kill Hercules, son of Zeus.
Road to Redemption: Xena spent numerous years as a Warlord, out to conquer the world but she had always been against killing women and children. Once her men turned against her for being soft, she spent the next 6 years righting her wrongs by helping innocents and ridding the world of the Greek Gods. She would end up sacrificing her life to defeat Yodoshi and save the souls of the people who died as a result of her actions.



Name: Regina Mills aka The Evil Queen
Tv Show: Once Upon A Time
Villain Moment: Demolishing an entire realm just to ensure no one could get their happy ending.
Road to Redemption: While Regina spent lord knows how long as The Evil Queen, ripping out hearts left and right and other imaginable things...once she adopted Henry her black heart started to turn red. Regina eventually joined the very people she tormented and helped save them countless times whether it be by helping to bring back Snow White and Emma Frost from the enchanted forest or sacrificing herself to save Henry and let go of her chance of true love.



Name: Spike aka William The Bloody
Tv Show: Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Best Villain Moment: Spending the entirety of Season 2 trying to kill the Scoobies
Road to Redemption: Lemme just say this...I am not that big of a fan of Spike after S5 but the show still went him for redemption so he's here....now on with the show:
While Spike spent the first few years being a constant thorn in Buffys side, by the time Season 5 came around he became an ally that she trusted to help fight by her side. He protected her family from a Hell God, helped defend Sunnydale after Buffy died and after going out of his way to get a soul after attempting to rape Buffy, the show had him go a step further in his redemption by sacrificing himself in order to help defeat The First.



Name: Faith Lehane
Tv Show: Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel
Best Villain Moment: Poisoning Angel, help The Mayor ascend, steal Buffys life.
Road to Redemption: After all the chaos that Faith helped ensue upon the lives of Buffy and Angel, she turned herself into the police where she took full ownership of her past deeds as a villain. She eventually broke out of jail to help re-in soul Angel and help Buffy fight the war against The First.



Name: Karone aka Astronema
Tv Show: Power Rangers: In Space!
Villain Moment: Attempting to take over the Galaxy in the name of Dark Specter and trying to kill the Power Rangers.
Road to Redemption: When Astronema had found out that she had been abducted as a child, she started questioning her role as Astronema: Princess of Evil and sided with the Power Rangers. After she was re-abducted and brainwashed into helping kill Zordon and take over the world again, she was freed and went on to become a Power Ranger herself! Helping the Lost Galaxy crew fend off the forces of Trakena.




Name: Damon Salvatore
Tv Show: The Vampire Diaries
Villain Moment: Killing anyone and everyone close to Elena.
Road to Redemption: Once Elena turned into Sleeping Beauty, he helped the remaining Mystic Falls crew defend the town from whatever evil strolled in.



Name: Anya Jenkins aka Anyanka
Tv Show: Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Villain Moment: Bring about mass vengeance for any scorned women by manipulating their wishes.
Road to Redemption: Once Anya failed at re-obtaining her powers to return to the life of being a Vengeance Demon, she joined the Scoobies in helping defend Sunnydale and the world from impending doom for the next 4 years. She gave her life in the battle against The First and was instrumental in helping defeat The Mayor and Glory.


Name: Hexadecimal
Tv Show: ReBoot
Villain Moment: Helping her brother take over Mainframe.
Road to Redemption: Hex was born a Virus so being evil was in her very genetic code! Despite this, her feelings for Bob helped her defend Mainframe once Bob had returned from The Web. Bob seeing the good in Hex caused him to plead for Phong to give her an icon. Once she helped defend Mainframe once more, she got turned into a full on Sprite! She sacrificed her life as a Sprite and goes viral again to help take out Super Virus Daemon. Hexadecimal then entered the Gateway Command and infected the entire Net with the cure, sacrificing herself, saving the Net and defeating Daemon.




Name: Loki
Movie: Thor
Villain Moment: Trying to enslave Earth and Asgard
Possible Road to Redemption: Loki's journey in the MCU isn't over yet so while he helped Thor fight against their sister, Hela to take back Asgard, his role in the Infinity War will truly tell if Loki will choose a life of good or a continued life of chaos.


Name: Earth 2 Dinah Laurel Lance aka Black Siren
Tv Show: Arrow
Villain Moment: Screaming The Vigilantes brains to mush and attempting to kill Team Arrow.
Possible Road to Redemption: While Laurel Lances doppelganger has lived a life of crime, her Earth-1 version of her father is fighting for Black Sirens soul. She has shown hesitation and regret for her role in murdering The Vigilante and is currently attempting to embrace the life of E1 Laurel Lance but the jury is still out on if she is a truly working for big bad Richard Diaz or playing double agent. The end of the season should show which side she chooses once and for all.


Name: Mirror-verse Phillpa Georgiou
Tv Show: Star Trek: Discovery
Villain Moment: Mass genocide to countless species in the Mirror realm and becoming Emperor of the universe
Possible Road to Redemption: Prime-verse Phillpa was dead but Michael still saw glimpse of her in her Mirror self. Mirror-verse Phillpa helped Starfleet succeed in winning the Klingon war but appeared that she was still up for causing mass genocide to win a war and thus Michael stopped her but allowed her to leave. Her actions in the Prime-verse are to be seen, will she attempt to take over the Universe again or help Starfleet in their ongoing journey?

Lazy Town's Stefán Karl Stefánsson diagnosed with inoperable tumors

A Lazy Town Memes facebook page that has been in contact with actor Stefán Karl Stefánsson posted the following:

"Dear friends, I feel so heartbroken, but I have to tell you a very sad news about Stefán. PET scan confirmed inoperable tumors. Chemotherapy planned starting next week. Unfortunately, nothing can be done from this point really, this is the beginning of the end of the road for our number one - Stefán and that's so hard to understand but that is the truth. Please, cross your fingers that the chemo will longer his life a little. Thank you everyone for your love and support. Stefán loves you so much. Keep praying for him and sending him your love. Peace."

- Just recently Lena has been criticized for defending a 'Girls' writer accused of rape, saying she hasn't had an abortion but wished she had, and rehoming her dog
- She describes the whole thing as ‘Lena Dunham apologizes for the 87th time’ and says that her feminist mother raised her to try, fail, try again, rethink the problem from the different angle, and grow
- Admits she doesn't have a skillset to make calculated decisions on how she comes across but instead makes it clear who she is, what she's capable of, and what her process is
- When she voices an unpopular opinion, she is either full of shame or cries ”Nobody deserves me, nobody deserves my truth”
- Thinks a big part of her 30s is moving away from the idea that she needs to have an opinion about everything and taking a moment before she speaks, to understand how she can be useful
- She was excited and grateful to be heard in her early 20s but now wants to slow down, think about how she can give other women the platform that was given to her, and how she can speak through her work
