A$AP Rocky has come forward and publicly apologized to gay NBA player Jason Collins for their recent  appearance together at the MTV Music Awards and any hatred he might have indirectly displayed during the televised event.

“I’m mad that my facial expressions was like that because I’m not homophobic at all, and that whole thing just came off real homophobic,” said Rocky. “I didn’t really notice it until I got home and saw it. I apologize to Jason for that, because people was laughing and shit, and you know… I really don’t think that’s funny. I saw they were making all the memes and pictures and making fun of him. There’s people out there that think I was doing that to be funny, and truthfully I got gay people in my family. I don’t give a f*ck if you gay or you not, I just found it odd that MTV wanted to stand me next to this n*gga when they are talking about gay people, that’s all. You know what I’m saying?” (The Stashed)

Rocky has compared Collins coming out to R&B Frank Ocean letting people know he was bisexual back in May.

“That’s his business,” Rocky said in an interview. “I respect men more for coming out. People joke on Frank Ocean a lot but at least he’s not out here fronting. It’s a lot of people, a lot of motherf*ckers be out here, they be the closet motherf*ckers, you know? I don’t respect them. I respect gay men who identify it and who are out with it. I don’t have a problem with gay people at all. So it’s like, that’s his business. It don’t concern me. Number one, I barely get to watch basketball like that as it is. Number two, I don’t even know who this n*gga is that you talking about. Dead a**. He probably has ten times more money than me but I don’t know who he is. The X Factor Top 16 was chosen on Sunday and Monday in Los Angeles.

This live round is new–replacing boot camp and the judges houses. Contestants were assembled for Boot Camp a few weeks ago, only to be told it was cancelled.

The new live Final rounds have a twist. If a singer was safe after a performance, their mentor asked them to take a seat on stage.

However, if the mentor liked another singer better later on in the round, they could eliminate a contestant already declared safe to make room for the new contestant.

Lena Dunham Shares Email & Sexy Photo From Her 21-Year-Old Self

Rare is the email that improves with age. But this missive sent from Lena Dunham in 2007 stands up pretty well, especially considering that she was all of 21, a time when most of my emails contained attachments for late papers and lacked the slightest whiff of self-awareness.

Dunham's email is part of an ongoing art exhibit put together by Miranda July titled We Think Alone. Every week, emails sent by 10 prominent artists/actors/thinkers/doers/etc. are arranged around a theme, and then sent out to a list that anyone can join. All of the emails were written prior to the project.

The emails humanize these Important People (surprise: most emails are not Important!) and say Interesting Things about the mistaken ephemerality and intimacy of this medium and oh yeah, we get to read private emails.

This week's theme: "An email that includes a picture of yourself." Dunham's email stands out from the rest in that the picture is not the point of the transmission, but an afterthought appended to a brief, if detailed snapshot of her day.

It's got everything a recipient might want: a playful, once-off moniker; sex; plenty of superficial questions deployed rhetorically so as to genuinely signal interest ("how was your birthday daytime? "is that the kind of stuff i shouldn't say?") and bigger questions that demand a reply ("was it a heavy birthday or a light one?"). It wraps up with a maxim about compliments that strikes me as true, and of course, the picture.

We have made the difficult decision not to move forward with a fourth season of The Killing. We want to thank our great partners at Fox Television Studios, creator Veena Sud, an extraordinary cast and the dedicated fans who watched."

After its revival, the third season of The Killing was largely in line with the second in ratings. The third season opened to a steady 1.8 million viewers (563,000 adults 18-49), dipped in the middle before rising back up to 1.5 million viewers in its summer finale. That number bested the sophomore run's finale, but was still a long way from the record 2.7 million viewers that first tuned in to the drama when it opened on April 3, 2011.

Fox Television Studios is extremely proud of all three seasons of The Killing. We’re especially gratified to have orchestrated a unique deal with AMC for season three that included a bold partnership with Netflix," FTVS said in a statement. "While we would have loved to produce a fourth season for AMC, FTVS is immensely grateful to everyone involved with this moving series: our brilliant cast, led by Mireille Enos, Joel Kinnaman and season three’s Peter Sarsgaard, our stellar executive producer, Veena Sud, a remarkable writing and producing team, and a tireless, dedicated crew. Most of all, FTVS thanks the terrific fans of The Killing, who communicated their appreciation for the show throughout its run.

The Killing, which lost viewers' trust after failing to answer its central "Who killed Rosie Larson?" question during its freshman season, returned for a second season to see its ratings fall nearly 30 percent, drawing the ax at AMC. Following a deal with FTVS, AMC and Netflix, the series was revived for a rebooted third season featuring a new case and largely new cast (only Enos and Kinnaman returned). The series, which was based on the Danish entry Forbrydelsen and developed under Sud, concluded season three's central case during its finale, serving as closure compared with its freshman run.

For AMC's part, the cabler has drama pilots Line of Sight starring The Walking Dead's David Morrissey, in the works. The network recently ordered to series 1980s computer drama Halt & Catch Fire starring Pushing Daisies' Lee Pace as well as period drama Turn, based on the book Washington's Spies from Nikita's Craig Silverstein. This summer, AMC will bid critical darling Breaking Bad farewell and will close the book on Mad Men in 2014. Freshman cop drama Low Winter Sun has failed to hold on to much of its Breaking Bad lead-in, which doesn't bode well for a second season.

Audiences like Tom Hiddleston as Loki. The character did well in Thor, but The Avengersreally turned him into a fan-favorite. It was that snarl, the willingness to be beaten like a rag doll by the Hulk, and the phrase “mewling quim” that set hearts a-flutter. Loki is a big part of Thor: The Dark World, to the point where reshoots added more of the character after shooting originally ended. But after that film opens this November, we won’t see much of Loki for a while.

Fans aren’t too happy about his potential leave-taking of the screen, and one group is petitioning Marvel Studios for a standalone film featuring the character. THR points out that a Change.org petition is well on its way to 20,000 signatures, with the simple demand:

The character Loki, as portrayed by Tom Hiddleston in the films “Thor,” “Thor 2,” and “The Avengers” (2012), has become one of the most recognizable and cherished film characters in recent years. Hence, we respectfully yet strongly request Marvel put into action a full-length feature film production based on the Marvel character Loki portrayed by Tom Hiddleston.

While I’m not sure this is quite what Change.org had in mind when it enabled people to voice their hopes, dreams, and frustrations, at least it’s better than another anti-Batfleck petition. Furthermore, it’s not like gaining the desired 20,000 signatures will actually pressure Marvel to do anything, and given the global audience for The Avengers, it’s not even a huge slice of potential ticket-buyers. It’s not even really a minor segment. But the effort is nice, and hell, I’d watch a solo Loki film, too.

Not only has the United States owned Mexico in World Cup qualifiers played at Columbus Crew Stadium, the USMNT always seems to win by the same magical score.

And 2013 would prove to be no different.

Jurgen Klinsmann's side shook off a sluggish first half, getting goals after intermission from Eddie Johnson (49th minute) and Landon Donovan (78th minute) to once again beat its rival 2-0. It's the fourth straight time (2001, 2005, 2009) that the USMNT has beat El Tri in a home qualifier by the same score, and all four matches were played in the friendly confines of Crew Stadium.

To make the night even more perfect for the United States, Honduras' 2-2 draw with Panama an hour later officially clinched the USMNT's trip to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

But things didn't come easy early for the Americans Tuesday. Mexico, playing for new coach Luis Fernando Tena after Chepo was fired over the weekend, had the better of play for much of the first 45 minutes. While it was El Tri setting the tempo and the home side reacting, when many had expected the opposite, USMNT goalkeeper Tim Howard stood tall in the net and kept his side level with two key saves.

After halftime, though, it was all United States. Eddie Johnson, starting up top because of Jozy Altidore's yellow card suspension, finished off a header on a Landon Donovan corner kick in the 49th minute. That swung the momentum for good, and Donovan put the icing on the cake with a 78th-minute goal. Donovan took care of a low cross played through by Diskerud after it slid past Clint Dempsey, and the 2-0 scoreline that appeared destined had come to pass.

Clint Dempsey actually had a chance to make it 'Tres A Cero' in second-half injury time with a penalty kick, but he missed it wide. And when the smoke from the fireworks had settled after the final whistle moments later, none of the pro-USA crowd of 24,584 seemed to mind all that much. With a 2-0 score --again-- who could blame them?

In Columbus Crew Stadium, 'Dos A Cero' seems meant to be.

BEN COHEN POSES SHIRTLESS WHILE HOLDING A BABY

Ben Cohen danced his way onto our screens for the opening night of Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

But before the ex-England rugby ace put his dancing shoes on, he’d already swapped his rugby ball for this gorgeous tot. Cute!

The dad to five-year-old twins, Harriette and Isabelle, has teamed up with Persil Non-Bio and Comfort Pure to create the Cuddle Mastery Guide to give new parents confidence in how to cuddle, comfort and soothe their little ones.

The guide was produced after new research by Persil Non-Bio and Comfort Pure shows that over half of new dads feel nervous when giving their little one those first important cuddles.

For 20% of dads, the first baby they will ever hold is their own. So Ben created the guide to different ways to cuddle to put new dads at ease.

Well, we’re sure we wouldn’t mind a cuddle from those strong arms.

It looks like Ben’s Strictly partner Kristina Rihanoff is in good hands!

BEN COHEN WAS COMPELLED TO DO SCD 2013 BECAUSE OF HIS FATHER'S TRAGIC DEATH

Ben Cohen has revealed the tragic motivation for taking part in Strictly Come Dancing– the brutal killing of his dad.

The England rugby ace signed up to the BBC One show to raise awareness of his anti-bulling charity, the Ben Cohen Stand Up Foundation, which he launched after his father died in 2000.

“My reasons [for taking part] were solely to put my foundation out there,” Ben, 34, told LOOK.

“My father was brutally attacked by five guys and the knock on effect on our family was huge.

“I used my anger, pain and suffering to inspire greatness in some way and I channelled that into my rugby and that’s why I wanted to win the world cup and how I managed to become one of the best players in the world.

“[Through Strictly] I want to promote what we do with and how we support and cooperate with other organizations. It’s basically raising awareness of what bullying does long term.”

Ben’s dad Peter, 58, was beaten to an inch of his life after stepping in to protect someone at a Northampton night club owned by Ben’s brother, Justin. He was in a coma for three weeks and seemed to be improving before he died a month later on November 14, 2000. Three men were jailed for violent disorder and Ben set up the foundation a year later.

According to Ben he takes after his dad on the dance floor - but not, he says in a good way. He said: "The whole of my family are like ‘Christ you’re like your dad, he’s got two left feet'. He can’t dance and nor can I. I’m more of a head nodder at a bar.”

Judging by the group dance this weekend, which saw Ben looking at ease with the dance moves, he might be playing down his dance floor prowess.

And with Strictly professional Kristina Rihanoff by his side he's got a good chance of getting his hands on the glitter ball. She took singer Donovan all the way to the Blackpool final in 2009. This week Kristina told LOOK how she has been invited by Ben’s wife Abbie to visit the couple’s home in Northampton.

Ben, who is clinically deaf and has just 30-33% hearing in each ear, is dad to five-year-old twin girls, Harriette and Isabelle.

Jessica Chastain is really, really happy for her friends. They’ve made a great movie, and she’s made it with them.

The friends are writer-director Ned Benson and producer Cassandra Kulukundis. The movie is The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby, a two-part drama that examines a New York couple’s disintegration after a tragic loss.

In the segment called Him, we follow Conor Ludlow (James McAvoy) as he tries to put his life back together after his wife Eleanor (Chastain) leaves him; in Her, we follow Eleanor as she tries to figure out who she is and where she’s going.

“Yesterday was the first time we showed it to anyone,” Chastain says of the movie’s world premiere on Monday at the Elgin, perched between Benson and Kulukundis on a couch at the Templar Hotel. “The first time James [McAvoy], Ciáran [Hinds] and Jess [Weixler] saw it. And also I burst into tears at the Q&A,” she laughs.

“It’s overwhelming,” says Kulukundis. “And our audience was amazing yesterday. They laughed, they were emotionally involved, you could feel the energy in the room … when Jessica saw it last, it was on a 50” plasma [screen], so you just don’t have that same experience.”

Chastain is still clearly processing the response. She’s been developing Eleanor Rigby with Benson and Kulukundis for a decade, working through various concepts and script drafts to arrive at the two-part structure the film has now.

“We played a lot of Rock Band,” Kulukundis admits.

“We would go to the Aero Theatre and watch the Hitchcocks,” Chastain says.

“All three of us would run up there,” says Benson, “or to the Lincoln Plaza when I was at Columbia and she was at Julliard.”

“Watching Isabelle Huppert movies,” laughs Chastain with a sort of disbelief; Huppert plays her character’s mother in Eleanor Rigby.

“We’ve all been together for a long time, and we’ve all been kind of on the outskirts,” Chastain continues. “My movies have all come out in [the past] two years – in 2011, I was here for Take Shelter and Coriolanus.

“So it hasn’t been that long that I’ve had movies in the movie theatre, but a lot has happened for me in those two years. A whole life of wanting to do this has come to fruition. And yesterday, being there and seeing it happen to people that I love, where I’m actually witnessing their moment, it sometimes means more than when it’s happening to you.”

Chastain’s tearing up. Both Kulukundis and Benson turn toward her supportively.

“What’s happened to you, I think you’ve always deflected it,” Kulukundis starts to say.

“It’s so impossible,” Chastain laughs, sniffling back tears, and I feel suddenly like an intruder in the room. But it passes in a second, as Kulukundis tries to bring us back on message.

“You never feel like you deserve it, you always feel like there’s something more, something different that you could have done. That’s why we’re all in this industry, to keep creating something new and keep trying something else, and I feel the exact same way. Right now I don’t feel like I know what’s going on here.”

“I just am so grateful for what this core group was able to pull together,” Benson says, still delighted by the audience response at the previous evening’s Q&A.

“I just remember talking about day one [of production], what that was like. Because everybody’s like, ‘Oh, what was your Day One like? You must have been so nervous!’ And that was the most freeing day of my life. It was eight years waiting to get to the point where, ‘We can shoot now! Let’s go!’”

NeNe raked in a slew of expensive gifts at her star studded second wedding and exclusively told RadarOnline.com that her fellow Bravo star, financially troubled Teresa, was one of the big givers.

Starring in I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, a spin-off that showcases her nuptials to Gregg, the reality star registered for over $40,000 in gifts and her generous friends delivered the goods.

“Teresa gave me Hermes plates, they were very expensive,” NeNe told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday. Teresa’s personal finances have come under scrutiny from the Feds who are accusing her of faking documents about her income.

However, according to NeNe those gifts haven’t broken Teresa’s bank. “I saw Teresa last night and she didn’t ask for them back,” NeNe laughed when asked if Teresa had asked her to return the gifts. However, NeNe’s three registry lists only have Hermes crystal glasses, but no plates.

The Hermes crystal stemware that was purchased from her registry list totally a whopping $3,310 but Nene said that Judge Mathis was the generous giver, telling RadarOnline.com he bought “every glass I registered for at Neiman Marucs. I do not need more glasses. This was a several thousands of dollars!”

NeNe also said that Bravo exec Andy Cohen gave them a “really nice gift,” too.

Brandon, who was seen escorting Kenya to different functions on season 5 of the popular Bravo series, reportedly got into a fight with Phaedra Parks’ husband, Apollo.

While it may have seemed like the Donkey Booty drama was over after both Phaedra and Kenya went their separate ways and released separate DVDs, the scuffle apparently had something to do with the workout video that damaged the ladies’ short-lived friendship.

It’s not clear exactly what happened, but it seems Apollo was the aggressor and needed seven men to calm him. Apollo seemingly got the best of Brandon who told TMZ that he had to have a gash on the inside of his mouth stitched closed.

“I got bones, bruises and stitches,” said Brandon who hinted that his attorneys are now involved. “I’ll do what my grandma said, ‘Pray for ‘em and let my attorney handle the rest.’”

Though the details aren’t clear, Brandon intimated that he was the victim and owed an apology from Phaedra or Apollo.

“You would think that one of them would call,” he said. “It is what it is.”

According to TMZ, Apollo’s version of the story differs.







Lea Criticizes CoStars Ridiculousness and Pettiness!


Lea doesn't have kind words for her co-stars who didn't attend her gala this week — or, as she calls them, the members of the Hate Lea Club.

"What you do speaks louder than what you say," Lea writes in her Bravo blog this week. "And to you, my friends, that have supported the Gala, you did a good thing and supported a great cause and I thank you for it on behalf of the hundreds of kids who benefited from your generosity."

Lea says she is willing to forgive her fellow Housewives, up to a point. "If you appreciate me and are good to me, you can count on me, even if sometimes you misbehave," she says. "But if you're simply up to no good or you won't take responsibility for your actions and then blame me for your problems, I will defend myself. And there lies the problem."

"Don't expect me to condone or enable your bad behavior at my expense and then be surprised when I expose the facts and underlying truth in defense of myself," Lea continues. "And if that has you joining the Hate Lea Club, then you've made my point. You've joined the club of 'always blame others,' never take responsibility, and hate the one that held the mirror up to your face."

"Let's empower the youth of today to make the future of tomorrow better for the next generation," she writes. "We get to choose how we think and what we spend our time, energy, and money on. Let's rise above the ridiculousness of pettiness and hatred and make our lives count for something bigger and outside of ourselves."









Kim Wins Best Live Performance Ever on Watch What Happens Live!


Kim may be a mother of almost six, but this mama's still got it goin’ on. During a recent poll on Watch What Happens Live, the star walked away the winner for a super hot category.

The question asked viewers to weigh in on who rocked the best performance ever at the Bravo clubhouse. One of her fans and followers broke the news on Twitter that Kim had taken top honors.

"@Kimzolciak won the WWHL poll question of the night! Who won the best club house performance ever! Kim Zolciak!! Yaaaayy," George Alexander wrote.

Kim took 44 percent of the votes, which was enough to collectively beat out the competition.

What do you get for the woman who has everything?

Well, if it's Oprah Winfrey, not balloons!

In a video to promote to October issue of O Magazine and it theme this month—facing one's fears—the 59-year-old Winfrey admits to actually being terrified of the inflatable objects.

"I really don't like balloons, and for my 40th birthday, my entire staff decided to surprise me," she says in the clip. "And I come downstairs and the entire audience is filled with balloons. Literally, I'm stepping over balloons, having to walk through balloons and I'm so, like, 'Oh! When is one going to pop?"

When asked by someone off-camera the reason for such a fear, Winfrey replies, "It reminds me of gunfire...and it really freaks me out, being around balloons."

Winfrey recalled that at that moment there was "no way around it, just had to walk through them. And that became a metaphor for facing all of my fears."

Pop star Kylie Minogue will replace Jessie J as a coach on The Voice, joining will.i.am and Tom Jones for the third series.
"I'm very excited," the Australian singer said. "I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series."
"Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!"

The pop star, whose hits include Can't Get You Out Of My Head, has sold more than 68 million records worldwide.
Her sister, Dannii, has been a judge on both the UK and Australian versions of X Factor, and has previously enlisted Kylie's help in coaching and selecting contestants.
"In terms of pop royalty, it really doesn't get much better than Kylie," said Moira Ross of The Voice UK's production company, Wall To Wall.
"With more than two decades of global success under her belt, I know she'll bring something truly special to the coaching line-up."

Ratings
The second series of The Voice suffered falling ratings, despite several tweaks to make the show more appealing.
Audiences dropped from an average 9.21 million in 2012, to 7.65 million in 2013.
At its lowest point, the quarter final attracted just 5.14 million viewers against competition from Britain's Got Talent on ITV.

However the final, in which Andrea Begley was crowned victor, outperformed the 2012 equivalent, with 7.95 million tuning in.
Coaches Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue pulled out after the series ended. Jessie J said she wanted to concentrate on promoting her second album.
"I've absolutely loved my time on The Voice, and I hope everyone saw and knows how passionately I felt about the show," she said on Twitter.
Will.i.am said: "While I will miss Danny and Jessie, I'm excited to be returning for season three and to work with Kylie and Tom.
"Together we will mix it up and bring new energy and ideas to the show."
The search to replace O'Donoghue continues, the BBC said. Series three of The Voice begins in January 2014.
