A WEEKEND ESCAPE AT THE LAKE HOUSE – When Hiram suggests that Veronica and Archie head up to their lake house for the weekend, Veronica decides to invite Betty and Jughead to join them (probably for a couples retreat). Determined to uncover Hiram’s plans for Riverdale, Jughead uses his time at the lake house to press Veronica about what she may know. Hot tub hijinx happens somewhere in there.

Back in Riverdale, Cheryl makes a surprising connection with Toni an unlikely friend, while Josie lands in hot water after she most likely tells Kevin about their parents fucking each other.

Skeet Ulrich also stars.

Directed by David Katzenberg and written by Ross Maxwell. Airs March 7 in the US and March 8 for international Netflix subscribers

  • On February 12, daytime television's Wendy Williams took to Twitter asking, "HAVE YOU SEEN NICKI MINAJ?", fueling the rapper's remaining fans' speculation as to what caused her to go dark on social media in late December

  • Now, Page Six is reporting that Minaj has been plotting her return and, more specifically, reclamation of the Queen of Rap by Default crown from "Bodak Yellow" MC Cardi B

  • A source offered, "Cardi B took over the scene and has been breaking all these records. Anyone in their right mind would be like, ‘I better step my game up.’ She wants to be on top. It’s friendly competition. It’s not a Remy Ma situation, but, Nicki definitely pays attention."

  • Another source claimed that Minaj, who somehow made next-to-no headlines for financially and emotionally supporting her child rapist brother last year, is currently in Miami recording the followup to 2014's 'The Pinkprint' with frequent collaborators Drake and Lil Wayne

  • Minaj is to be featured in the March issue of Vogue magazine, modeling Calvin Klein for a piece on the new class of designers "shaking up" long-standing fashion houses

    Legendary Indian actress, Madhubala, would have been 85 years old had she lived today. The 85th anniversary of her birth was a couple of days ago on February 14, 2018. She passed away from what was then a rare heart defect (ventricular septal defect) when she was only 36 years old in 1969.

    Madhubala was an icon in Indian cinema for her charm, immense screen presence, captivating looks, and outstanding performances. I wanted to make this appreciation post in honor of her and highlight some of her memorable films, scenes, and song/dance sequences.



    Mahal (1949)

    Mahal is about the story of Hari Shankar (played by Ashok Kumar) who moves into a mansion and is obsessed with a beautiful ghost, Kamini (Madhubala), who entices him. Kamini haunts the mansion and has a tragic backstory. This movie was actually the inspiration for another famous Bollywood film, Madhumati (1958).



    Mr. & Mrs. '55 (1955)

    This comedy is about a marriage of convenience between a struggling cartoon artist, Pritam (Guru Dutt), and a wealthy heiress, Anita (Madhubala). The marriage is orchestrated by Anita's scheming aunt, Sita Devi (Lalita Pawar).



    Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958)

    Another one of the most memorable Bollywood comedy films, it is about three brothers, Brijmohan (Ashok Kumar), Manmohan (Kishore Kumar), and Jagmohan (Anoop Kumar), who get their lives turned upside down when they all fall in love with Renu (Madhubala).



    Mughal-e-Azam (1960)

    Set during the Mughal Empire, prince Salim falls in love with commoner Nadira/Anarkali (Madhubala), and thereby rebels against his father, Emperor Akbar (Prithviraj Kapoor), who is against the relationship.

    The Shocking Abuse Allegations Against Michael Fassbender

    The domestic abuse allegedly occurred in 2009.
    The 2010 report landed right before Fassbender’s mainstream success, it came after Inglourious Basterds—and was promptly ignored and seemingly forgotten.

    Fassbender has never commented on the accusations. These allegations did not negatively affect Fassbender’s career. He has never been asked to comment on his own past.
    Fassbender was alleged to have dragged his former girlfriend Sunawin “Leasi” Andrews, alongside a car and broke her nose.

    The allegation has now resurfaced in the era of #MeToo and Time’s Up, with The Daily Beast obtaining the petition Andrews filed in court against Fassbender.

    Andrews filed a restraining order in 2010, requesting Fassbender stay away from her and her two children.
    She also sought $24,000 to pay for medical bills that were the result of the injuries she says she suffered after Fassbender abused her on multiple occasions.
