- Model Miranda Vee filed a police report accusing Mohamed Hadid (Gigi and Bella Hadid's father) and Paul Marciano, the cofounder of Guess, of sexual assault
- She is represented by Lisa Bloom
- Kate Upton has previously accused Marciano of harassment
- Vee posted the following on social media, now deleted: "I met with paul at his @guess headquarters that is actually a apartment where he sexually harassed me & after that passed me on to his friend [Mohamed] who was going to meet me for ‘coffee.' I thought it was a professional meeting but It was just me, him & champagne where he date raped me in a apartment. All to get a test shoot for guess. LAST year when I [tried] to speak out about it they found out & made me sign a NON-disclosure agreement & I only agreed to sign because paul threatened me & said he would get me disappeared if I ever say anything. #TIMESUP Why should we have to stay quiet because they have the power? #METOO."
- Hadid commented: "The story is gone so it’s just a false accusation. I feel they are right [about #metoo] and they should change the culture of any industry. I have four daughters so I am very respectful toward women and I understand all this, but at the same time there are a lot of false accusations that are damaging to certain people. In general, I think that women should stand up and speak out."
- Gigi and Bella have not commented. Hadid's fiancee said she didn't want to talk about it when asked.

Ronan Farrow Exposes How Trump Covers Up His Affairs

Fresh from his searing New Yorker expose that (along with Megan Twohey & Jodi Kantor's piece in the New York Times) took down Harvey Weinstein, Ronan Farrow has set his sights on none other than the president.

His new piece for the magazine, titled Donald Trump, a Playboy Model, and a System for Concealing Infidelity, details how Trump and his allies - including the National Enquirer - covered up a 2006 affair with Playboy model Karen McDougal using “clandestine hotel-room meetings, payoffs, and complex legal agreements to keep affairs — sometimes multiple affairs he carried out simultaneously — out of the press”.

The article reveals that National Enquirer publisher AMI, run by Trump’s friend David Pecker, paid McDougal $150,000 for the exclusive rights to tell her story, which it then never ran.

Hedley Allegedly Investigated for Sexual Assault in 2005 + More Updates

After much speculation online, the "incident" involving Hedley and an underage fan in London, Ontario was investigated by the fine journalists at Exclaim! magazine. A reporter from the publication contacted Rob Bazinet, the former manager of the Embassy Hotel, who was in charge when Hedley played an all ages show there in 2005. He said the following, regarding the situation in question:

- The show was September 18, 2005
- They were jerks to everyone throughout the day they spent at the venue (staff, fans, bartenders etc.)
- The show was expected to draw an underage crowd
- The band was well aware that underage fans would have a black "X" marked on their hand
- Bazinet went to check on the band after the show in the private greenroom above the venue, as was routine
- When he was in their room, one bedroom door was shut and the band blocked him from entering
- He doesn't remember which member was in the room with the shut door
- He would have had to physically force himself into the room, so he just didn't go in assuming it was a privacy issue
- At some point the band left without him noticing
- The police showed up because they found a young woman uncontious a block away, without shoes on
- She was taken to the hospital, where it was discovered she had Rophynal in her system (the date rape drug)
- They traced her back to the venue because of the stamp on her hand
- The police were given permission to search the green room, where they discovered the girl's missing shoes
- They contacted the parents of the girl to ask permission to administer a rape kit
- The victim woke up and refused to participate and the investigation was dropped
- The rumours about what happened started to spread around the people who worked at the Embassy
- The venue promoter and owner was then sent a legal order to shut up about the incident or they would sue on behalf of Hedley, their management and their record label.
- The letter cause management to tell staff if they mentioned the incident they would be fired


After this story was released last night, Shawn Hook (who is currently supporting Hedley on their still cross Canada tour) issued a statement basically saying he's contractually obligated to stay on the tour.

They have also been dropped by their management, Watchdog Management. They tweeted out a short statement.

New Full-Length IMAX Trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising

– A new full-length IMAX trailer was released today for the upcoming Pacific Rim: Uprising.
– The new trailer features more Kaiju and more Jaeger tricks. There are also new IMAX posters also shows off the various Jaegers in the movie.
– Pacific Rim: Aftermath is an on-going six-issue limited comic series from Legendary Comics that explores the one-year gap between the first and second films, featuring appearances from Jake Pentecost (John Boyega) and Hannibal Chau (Ron Perlman).
– The film will be released on March 23rd.

NBC Olympics analyst and five-time Olympic medalist Bode Miller received backlash for suggesting that Anna Veith's recent struggles could be due to the fact that she recently got married. 

"The knee is certainly an issue. I want to point out, she also got married. It's historically very challenging to race on World Cup with a family or after being married. You know, not to blame the spouses, but I just want to toss that out there that it might be her husband's fault."

“Pari” Trailer

Pari is an upcoming Bollywood horror film starring Anushka Sharma, Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajat Kapoor, and Ritabhari Chakraborty. Not much about the plot is revealed in the trailer, but it seems to be centered on a woman, Pari (Anushka Sharma), who is tormented by a supernatural force.

It releases on March 2, 2018.
