Dan Stevens, Taylor Kitsch and Ron Funches stopped by James Corden on Thursday night. Stevens and Corden shared their enthusiasm for curling while Kitsch filled them in on what exactly is being yelled during a curling match.

Dan Stevens was there to discuss his new movie 'Permission' which also stars Rebecca Hall. Taylor Kitsch was there to promote 'Waco' a six part mini series where he stars as David Koresh.

Joy Behar and Meghan McCain got into it on The View today as they discussed the story about prominent people in the White House pretending they didn't have knowledge about Rob Porter's domestic violence history.

Meghan McCain says they way they're talking about the situation offends her as a Republican. Joy says Republicans in general offend her. Meghan digs into this comment.

Joy says 72% of Republicans backing a racist who abuses woman is why Republicans offend her.

Meghan reacts to Joy calling Trump racist and says people unfairly called her father racist too:
"Do you know that my father was accused of being racist?"

John McCain, who once told reporters "I hate the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live" and responded to complaints about his frequent use of the slur by saying it was the kindest word he could use, is Meghan's father.

Freestyle skier/ultimate thirst magnet Gus Kenworthy and figure skating angel Adam Rippon are two out and proud gay athletes competing at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea (this OP has been skiing there before, ask me about my terrible experience lmao). Kenworthy posted to his Twitter a photo of them sharing a cute kiss-on-the-cheek and expressing their pride to be representing not only the United States but also the LGBTQ community.

Figure Skater Adam Rippon Refuses Meeting with VP Pence

Adam Rippon is the first out figure skater to compete at the Olympics (yes, Johnny Weir came out and is now a commentator for NBC, but he was not officially out while competing). Rippon had previously criticized Mike Pence, noting that he funded conversion therapy and has a horrible record on LGBTQ rights, in response to the news that Pence had been appointed to lead the US delegation (see post here. Mike Pence is serving as Now USA Today is reporting that Rippon refused Pence’s invitation to a meeting.

Somebody Gettin Fired!: 6 Live Performance Mishaps

If you're a performer you sure would want everything to go smoothly, especially if it's live on television. Some our beloved acts has shown us everybody (on their team) makes mistakes, and everybody has those days.

1. U Make Me Wanna (1997) - Usher


This post is prettymuch inspired by this video I stumbled upon. Underrated American r&b & pop artist Usher was going to perform one of his earliest hits U Make Me Wanna when there seems to be technical difficulties in the beginning of the performance when he does not have a mic in hand. Entering furious on stage he goes straight to the mic podium of whatever award show this is on to catch up with singing.

Soon enough he is handed a mic and effortlessly recovers live on stage while dancing, with a hint of rage throughout the performance.


2. Roar (2013) - Katy Perry


Former woke pop singer Katy Perry was performing her song Roar on NRJ Music Awards when it seems as though her backtrack as off sync to her actual singing. One of the hosts abruptly halts in the middle of the performance and kindly asks her to redo the performance again. I can't bother to keep up with a Katy performance so I don't know if she routinely lip-syncs but this was an awkward moment. She continues the performance live.


3. Touch My Body (2008) - Mariah Carey


Stop singin' my part now baby...

Since her 2016 New Years Eve performance is still fresh in people's minds, I'll throw it back to 2008 where Mariah performs Touch My Body during her emancipation 2.0 era. The performance begins with overlapping tracks of the first verse of the #1 single and Mariah really begins the songs until the first prechorus. Then at the 3:06 mark, it seems like her background singers was not doing their job in harmonizing? but singing Mariah's parts. Mariah kept her classic composure in the performance. It just don't get any better.


4. Spice Up Your Life (1997) - Spice Girls


It was way more common to lip in the 90's and the Spice Girls were no exception from that, although they did have their share of actual live vocals in some performances.

Around the 2:08 mark during the bridge of SUYL, Mel B was spinning around a little too much where her mic slipped out of her hand and she had to go looking for it. The girls were being their quirky selves during their appearance on the show but were caught extra giddy once Mel B's mishap happened - even cracking a smile from Posh while they sing. This was not as bad as the other performances mentioned, but it is still a fun memory during Spice Mania.


5. Pieces of Me (2004) - Ashlee Simpson


*ladidadida... backtrack comes on... breaks out into a hoedown*

And this was the last of former punk rock princess Ashlee Simpson's music career. SNL is renowned to be live so this must've been truly a nightmare for the Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya) singer.


6. This Christmas cover (1996) - Patti Labelle


WHERE ARE MY BACKGROUND SINGERS? WOO

This recent viral performance of Patti singing the Donny Hathaway classic during the National Tree Lighting is becoming a tradition to make its rounds when the holiday season arrives.

I don't know if you can call it professionalism if you were hired to sing a song and you don't even know the words *ooh baby baby baby... thank you!* and needing assistance with cue cards... but let's just say Ms. Labelle was still thoroughly entertaining with her ad-libs and improv with the audience. Till this day I wonder where the background singers went.

The Killing's stars reunite as leads for Amazon's Hanna

-Esme Creed-Miles, Joel Kinnaman, and Mireille Enos will be the 3 leads for Amazon's TV adaptation of Hanna
-Enos will play a CIA agent with a secret to hide
-Kinnaman will play a hardened soldier living in the isolation of a Polish forest with Hanna, his daughter (Creed-Miles)
-Hanna decides she wants freedom and ends up unraveling a conspiracy surrounding the CIA agent
-Kinnaman and Enos were the stars of AMC's The Killing, playing cops unraveling conspiracies/fighting crime

'Still / born' hones in on the nightmares of new parents

First-time feature director Brandon Christensen brings some impressive snap to the postnatal spook-show "Still/Born." Christensen and co-writer Colin Minihan mostly repeat old beats from suburban supernatural horror films like "Poltergeist" and "Paranormal Activity," but strong actors and lean, unfussy storytelling ought to be more than enough to please genre buffs.

It's clear "Still/Born" is going to be something special in its opening minutes, which use intimate handheld camerawork, droning music and impressionistic editing to capture how new parents Mary (Christie Burke) and Jack (Jesse Moss) swing from joy to despair when one of their twins doesn't survive delivery.


What follows is only a mild exaggeration of the hell that most couples go through when they bring their firstborn home — amplified by their sense of tragedy over having lost a child. Mom and Dad are sleep-deprived and out of sync. Making matters worse, Mary keeps hearing and seeing ghostly apparitions on her baby monitor.

Christensen skillfully and reliably bangs out good scares using the usual tools: creepy shadows, strange sounds and jarring jump cuts.

The Affleck brothers have both been scrutinized and ostracized for sexual misconduct. Ben, 45, apologized after actress Hilarie Burton claimed Affleck groped her in 2003 when she was a host of MTV’s TRL and two sexual harassment suits were filed against Casey, 42, by two women in 2010.
The Affleck bro’s father, Timothy Affleck, says, “It doesn’t interest me. They know what they’re doing. They’re both kind and good men. They treat women well, I can guarantee that. After 40 odd years, you know your kids,”. Senor Affleck adds:“Hollywood is a disgusting place,”. “I think that’s been a major factor in Ben’s drinking. You’re kind of forced to develop a persona that is hard to shed and go home to your family. It afflecks your whole life. I think that’s one of the dangers of the film industry.”

• According to the source, Cavill's mates were trying to set him up with a new girl now that he is single. One girl introduced herself and a friend shouted, "He’s single and ready to mingle!"

CBB:US Day 2: The life and adventures of Omarosa

-James notices that the women are keeping to themselves and that the men are outnumbered. He wonders if Ross will side with the men or women (cause you know...he gay). Later the men decide that they have to be more social with the girls due to being outnumbered.

-James/Chuck reveal that they are friends outside of the house and of course align together.

-Ross aligns himself with the girls (cause you know...he gay)

-The women treat the guys like glorified barbie dolls. The men are tired of the huge amount of feminine energy in the house.

-Omarosa reveals that being loyal to Trump lost her a lot of her friends. Omarosa takes Keshia to town over O being loyal to Trump and Keshia being loyal to Cosby.

-Chuck unknowingly lets on to Shannon that the 4 guys are in an alliance together. James attempts to plead his case to Shannon while letting on that the girls are probably aligning together.

-Omarosa is on her redemption tour and breaks down to Ross, regretting what she has done in her past. She was haunted by Trumps tweets and tried to keep him place only for everyone else to shut her down and out, making sure to keep her away from Trump. She reveals that things are BAD. The world is going to end bad with Trump in the whitehouse.

-Chuck defies Shannons wishes about opening the gift bags which causes all the women to open their gift bags. Shannon confronts Chuck but he doesnt care since the power needs to be evened in the house.

-Keshia ends up with the power to recast and nominates James and Chuck.

There's no full-frontal from the highly-acclaimed actor in the sure-to-be-Oscar-winner Fifty Shades Freed, despite rumours that the studio offered him an extra $1 million. "That didn't happen," says Dornan. "It was $30 million--to show one testicle," he jokes.

He does, however, note that his rear is on full display, as are co-star Dakota Johnson's breasts.

Fans of the trilogy will recall that the first film, Fifty Shades of Grey, features pubes and a hint of shaft. (OP note: so there's nothing in the third movie for me.)

Fifty Shades Freed is in theatres Friday, February 9.
