- BTS is putting out an immersive RPG-style game called BTS World, where the player becomes their manager and has to nurture the boys and their career.
- They've recorded over 100 videos and the game includes over 10,000 photos of the boys as users venture through the game (rather than have it be animated a la Kim K's game)
- Their Mic Drop remix with Steve Aoki has been certified gold by the RIAA.
- It was on the Billboard 100 for 9 weeks, peaking at
#28.
- In a Twitter Q&A, the Backstreet Boys expressed their love for BTS.
- “We are huge fans of BTS, we love them. We want to actually invite the guys to our show in Vegas, if you guys want to come. So BTS all the way, baby," said Nick Carter.
Translation: “I’m okay. My surgery went well and I’m doing well. I’ve been working on music once and a while while I rest. Don’t worry.”
- BTS' leader RM (Namjoon) posted on Twitter that he is recovering from surgery to fix a deviated septum. Before y'all joke though, note that the boys have frequently discussed Namjoon's snoring and that he sleeps with a sleep apnea machine, so this might actually be legit. Or maybe he's using one of Ashley Tisdale's old excuses.
