  • Model and actress Florence Kasumba rose to prominence with roles in shows such as Emerald City and The Quest and films like Wonder Woman, however she experienced her biggest (and went viral) success as a result of her scene stealing role in Captain America: Civil War, where she threatens Scarlett Johansson with one line.

  • The Ugandan-German born actress reprises her role in the new Black Panther film as Ayo, one of the Dora Milaje, T'Challa's personal guard.

  • She underwent heavy spear training and combat training for her role. As of the premiere she stated she hadn't seen the finished project, the only thing she saw so far was a German trailer for the film.

Rose McGowan has hit out at Mayo for supporting Time's Up without denouncing his work with Woody Allen. McGowan is on a promotional tour for her new book, “BRAVE,” and her E! limited series, “Citizen Rose.” McGowan also states that Time’s Up was started by four female CAA agents who “needed good PR.” While McGowan says she hopes their intentions are in good faith.

Camila Cabello supported former mentor L.A. Reid who's been accused of sexual harassment
In an interview with Newsweek, Camila showed public support to L.A. Reid who "left" Epic after allegation of sexual harassment by an employee were revealed:

L.A. Reid, your mentor and former head of Epic Records, abruptly left the label in May. [Reid’s exit came after allegations of sexual harassment by an employee.] Has it been difficult going through this album-birthing process without him there to support you?
Yeah, definitely. He was so supportive of me and such a champion for me at the label. He always believed in me. He did really amazing things for the company and in music. I’m sure that he’s going to make a comeback. He’s so passionate about music and he’s so great at what he does. He has some of the best ears in music. I still really trust his opinion, and I have a lot of respect and gratitude for him.


The interview was published 4 months ago, but came back to surface after her performance with sexual assault survivor Kesha at the 2018 GRAMMYs. She accompagned the singer in "Praying", a song allegedly about Dr Luke.

Starbucks has been in business since 1971, so they've explored several business ventures over the years — some successful and others not so much. Here are a few highlights from their failed attempt at breaking into the music industry:

-Kenny G, who takes credit for inventing the Frappuccino, was a Starbucks investor who turned them onto the music business

-In 1999, Starbucks bought the record label Hear Music, which let customers create their own mix CD. The idea of turning Starbucks into a concept store where people could drink coffee and rip CDs was toyed with.

-By 2007, Hear Music had Ray Charles, Paul McCartney, and Joni Mitchell on board. It was also the source of a hit Sia album. However, Starbucks Entertainment had formed, with Sonic Youth on board.

-Pitchfork roasted Thurston Moore for getting involved in such an endeavour.

-Eventually, lawsuits and negative press prevailed, and digital music took over, with Spotify curating the content and Starbucks deciding to stick to coffee.

First he flew to NYC, to go shopping with Lil Uzi, then he left the country altogether and flew all the way to Berlin, Germany, where he's been spotted dining alone and in the presence of fellow celebrities like Dave Chappelle.

Taryn Manning really can't let the dress controversy go. After acting like a spoiled brat over her $200 SAG awards gown, (even after everyone praised her look), she's been lashing out & trying to change the narrative.

Her new version of how things went down & why she had a meltdown about her cheap dress: "Regarding the award show and the 200 dress, all I ask is that I be in on it. If I was in on it & part of the plan to be exploited, everything would be so much more clear and w/ the designers best interest in mind."


Aside from the "exploitation" narrative, it seemed like she was beginning to recognize her own spoiled brat attitude, until she started calling names & tossing slurs in the comments.



Trash continues to act like trash. ONTD, do you ever moan about how down-to-earth you are and how there are bigger problems in the world while - also - throwing tantrums about free awards show dresses and calling people ableist slurs?

First Look at "Sailor Moon: The Miracle 4-D"

The Sailor Moon 25th Anniversary Project website has released the first official promotional image for the upcoming Universal Studios Japan attraction, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Miracle 4-D!

The CG animated show, opening in March and running through summer as part of "Universally Cool Japan," sees Usagi and her friends visiting Universal Studios Japan when a monster attacks! It's up to the five Sailor Guardians to protect the park, and they'll need your help to do it! The immersive, 4-D show will allow audiences to experience what it's like to transform into one of the Sailor Guardians.

In addition to the show, there will be photo opportunties, a meet & greet with Tuxedo Mask, and, of course, lots of merchandise, including a Universal Studios version of the Cutie Moon Rod.








Britney Spears tweeted out this post-workout photo yesterday. In the bottom left hand corner, you can see the Kaleidomoon Scope, Super Sailor Moon's weapon from the Dream/SuperS arc. Seems the Queen of Pop is a fan of the series!

Tom Brady was minutes into a radio appearance at the Kirk & Callahan Show, when he cut the interview short. He had learned that Alex Reimer, who sometimes hosts the show, had called Brady's 5-year-old daughter with Gisele Bündchen, Vivian, “an annoying little pissant” last week on air after watching a documentary featuring the quarterback and his family.

"I've tried to come on this show for many years and showed you guys a lot of respect. I've always tried to come on and do a good job for you guys. It's very disappointing when you hear that, certainly. My daughter, or any child, they certainly don't deserve that.”

Reimer has since been suspended, but Brady said he doesn't want him to be fired.

"We all have careers and make mistakes. I'd hate for someone to have to change their life over something like that. That was certainly not what he intended. I just thought it was not very appropriate.”

Laurie, now 57 years old, will once again face down her assailant 40 years after surviving the 1978 Halloween night massacre that left 4 people dead, including two of her friends. Michael Myers, who spent 15 years in Smith's Grove Sanitarium for killing his sister, escaped to his hometown of Haddonfield, Il. After stealing a mask and other items from a hardware store, Myers set his target on 17 year old Laurie Strode after spotting her outside of his abandoned home. The night ended with Laurie narrowly escaping the death grip of the mad man she had no idea existed.

Jamie poses with 2018's Halloween writer and director, David Gordon Green - Green co-wrote Halloween with Danny McBride. John Carpenter will serve as Executive Producer and will contribute to the film's score. This film will ignore every film after the 1978 original including the 1981 sequel. The film is to be released October 19, 2018.
