Last fall, Mike Elk of Paydayreport posted an excerpt from the 'Dunkirk' companion book that showed set decorator Gary Fettis bragging about saving the producers a lot of money thanks to the use of prison labor.

Fettis cites prison labour among his "interesting collaborations" and says the prisoners are "first-time offenders, kids, they weren’t hard-core criminals" in the book.

'Dunkirk' has since been nominated for several Academy Awards, including Best Production Design, and has become the highest grossing WWII movie of all time.

Human rights advocates are now calling for 'Dunkirk' to be disqualified from the Oscar race due to human rights violations, though Paul Wright of the Human Rights Defense Center doesn't believe most people see a problem, as "pretty much everybody (in the USA) in a position of power is down with prison slavery".

No comment from Christopher Nolan, his production company, or WB has been issued yet.

Reed Morano is directing and said Blake's okay she just needs more time to recover

The Sailor Moon 25th Anniversary Project website has released the first official promotional image for the upcoming Universal Studios Japan attraction, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Miracle 4-D!

The CG animated show, opening in March and running through summer as part of "Universally Cool Japan," sees Usagi and her friends visiting Universal Studios Japan when a monster attacks! It's up to the five Sailor Guardians to protect the park, and they'll need your help to do it! The immersive, 4-D show will allow audiences to experience what it's like to transform into one of the Sailor Guardians.

In addition to the show, there will be photo opportunties, a meet & greet with Tuxedo Mask, and, of course, lots of merchandise, including a Universal Studios version of the Cutie Moon Rod.

Tom Brady was minutes into a radio appearance at the Kirk & Callahan Show, when he cut the interview short. He had learned that Alex Reimer, who sometimes hosts the show, had called Brady's 5-year-old daughter with Gisele Bündchen, Vivian, “an annoying little pissant” last week on air after watching a documentary featuring the quarterback and his family.

"I've tried to come on this show for many years and showed you guys a lot of respect. I've always tried to come on and do a good job for you guys. It's very disappointing when you hear that, certainly. My daughter, or any child, they certainly don't deserve that.”

Reimer has since been suspended, but Brady said he doesn't want him to be fired.

"We all have careers and make mistakes. I'd hate for someone to have to change their life over something like that. That was certainly not what he intended. I just thought it was not very appropriate.”

Laurie, now 57 years old, will once again face down her assailant 40 years after surviving the 1978 Halloween night massacre that left 4 people dead, including two of her friends. Michael Myers, who spent 15 years in Smith's Grove Sanitarium for killing his sister, escaped to his hometown of Haddonfield, Il. After stealing a mask and other items from a hardware store, Myers set his target on 17 year old Laurie Strode after spotting her outside of his abandoned home. The night ended with Laurie narrowly escaping the death grip of the mad man she had no idea existed.

John Carpenter will serve as Executive Producer and will contribute to the film's score. This film will ignore every film after the 1978 original including the 1981 sequel. The film is to be released October 19, 2018.

Mark Salling has apparently committed suicide at age 35. He was awaiting sentencing for child pornography charges. He previously attempted suicide last August.

You worked with Woody Allen just over a decade ago. How was that experience?
I haven’t spoken about this before. It was my first film and I didn’t feel directed by him at all. I didn’t have any kind of relationship with him. And that was fine but bizarre. It was a great opportunity, so I did the best I could and left. I didn’t know back then what I know now. Would I work with him now? No. And I stand in solidarity with his daughter and offer an apology to her if my contribution to his work has caused her suffering or made her feel dismissed in any way. It’s exciting that I can say this now and I’m not going to be blacklisted.

DC's upcoming digital service has ordered thirteen episodes of a Superman prequel called Metropolis, which will focus on Lois Lane and Lex Luthor prior to Superman's arrival. One More Day Until Star Wars' One-Shot Comic Is Released

The one-shot comic (released January 31) will center around DJ; the opportunist slicer played by Benicio Del Toro in The Last Jedi. Written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker, the comic will be titled 'Star Wars: DJ – Most Wanted'.

Marvel caught up with both writers about the one-shot.

★ What the process was like for filling in DJ's backstory★

Blacker: "The biggest thing we got from both the script and from Lucasfilm’s Story Group was nailing down DJ’s basic worldview. That was a guiding principle through several iterations of the comic script."

The writers also note that it will be taking place in the more glamorous side of Star Wars, Canto Bight, which will also give readers the opportunity to explore that world.

★ How the writers worked with the artist★

Acker: "[Kev Walker is] just mind-bogglingly creative and his art is beautiful. I can’t wait for you to see it. We either left a lot of room in the script for invention or we leaned hard on Kev, depending on how you look at it. We made up a casino card game by naming it and having characters reference hands and winning and losing, but Kev created the deck of cards! They’re fantastic. [..] We did our best to suggest the details of this world and then Kev went in and made them actual, concrete, and lived in.

★ What makes the character unique★

Acker: "He’s a twisty-turny guy, looking out for number one, and he’s either a couple of steps ahead or behind at any given time. He’s our first true scoundrel!"

Blacker +(why OP likes DJ): "I think DJ is different to most characters anyone has met in the “Star Wars” universe. DJ truly doesn’t believe in “light” or “dark.” He’s a shade of moral gray that goes further than even Lando in “The Empire Strikes Back” because he’s even more of a mercenary. Everyone is a means to an end. I can’t imagine him having friends, as Lando and Han and some of the other lovable “rogue” characters have."

Both writers would jump at the chance to tell further stories of the character, extending beyond this one-shot, with Ben Acker saying, "definitely. There’s something so compelling about a character in a war story who hasn't picked a side."
