@NickJonas tries on Ross' leather pants for the cover of "Clash" Magazine (hew? are they local?).

Nick on his career:“I certainly don’t have a secret recipe as to how it’s done. There are going to be some missteps. I’m willing to ride that out and I think the key has just been staying patient.”

The former lead singer from Nick Jonas & the Administration adds: “I’ve really pushed myself to find the optimism in what I want to say, from the sounds that inspire what I’m doing to the things I’m willing to talk about in my lyrics.”

Cleveland Indians Finally Getting Rid of Racist Chief Wahoo Logo in 2019

In 2019, the Cleveland Indians (when will they change that name though) will no longer be using Chief Wahoo on their uniforms. It sounds more like something that came from the MLB commissioner rather than the team owner.

"Major League Baseball is committed to building a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the game,” said Commissioner Rob Manfred. “Over the past year, we encouraged dialogue with the Indians organization about the Club’s use of the Chief Wahoo logo. During our constructive conversations, Paul Dolan made clear that there are fans who have a longstanding attachment to the logo and its place in the history of the team. Nonetheless, the club ultimately agreed with my position that the logo is no longer appropriate for on-field use in Major League Baseball, and I appreciate Mr. Dolan’s acknowledgement that removing it from the on-field uniform by the start of the 2019 season is the right course.”

“We have consistently maintained that we are cognizant and sensitive to both sides of the discussion,” said Cleveland Indians owner Paul Dolan. “While we recognize many of our fans have a longstanding attachment to Chief Wahoo, I’m ultimately in agreement with Commissioner Manfred’s desire to remove the logo from our uniforms in 2019.”

Justin Timberlake: Man of the Woods review – from plain bad to bewitching

"Mayo of the Woods" sounds awkward, the album lurches from funk-rock to Nashville and back again and some of the tracks are flatout awful. You can see what they’ve tried to do on Wave – stick a perky walking-bassline country song over a half-speed R&B slow jam beat – but the overall effect is just horrible. Mayo has a track titled "Flannel", the album cut deals in one of country’s least appealing aspects, schmaltz. Mayo of The Woods' tracks tries to infuse country, southern rock or R&B so much as the surfer-friendly, reggae-tinged acoustic pop of Jack Johnson, which is a pretty peculiar end result, given the intention. Mayo fails to give us the Post Modern Americana beats or whatever mayo was trying to aim for with that bizarre trailer. Instead Mayo just left us with budget Stetson commerical visuals.

'Dunkirk' set decorator brags about saving money by using prison labor

$

Last fall, Mike Elk of Paydayreport posted an excerpt from the 'Dunkirk' companion book that showed set decorator Gary Fettis bragging about saving the producers a lot of money thanks to the use of prison labor.

Fettis cites prison labour among his "interesting collaborations" and says the prisoners are "first-time offenders, kids, they weren’t hard-core criminals" in the book.

'Dunkirk' has since been nominated for several Academy Awards, including Best Production Design, and has become the highest grossing WWII movie of all time.

Human rights advocates are now calling for 'Dunkirk' to be disqualified from the Oscar race due to human rights violations, though Paul Wright of the Human Rights Defense Center doesn't believe most people see a problem, as "pretty much everybody (in the USA) in a position of power is down with prison slavery".

No comment from Christopher Nolan, his production company, or WB has been issued yet.
