Gay porn star Topher DiMaggio "vehemently denies" rape allegations as more victims break silence

TW: RAPE/SEXUAL ASSAULT, ALL LINKS NSFW

Earlier this week, gay porn star Tegan Zayne took to Twitter with allegations that he was raped by colleague Topher DiMaggio in the summer of 2016. In a now deleted tweet, Zayne recalled waking to find DiMaggio penetrating him (the pair shared living quarters during filming). DiMaggio allegedly proceeded to ejaculate inside of Zayne, despite repeated vocalizations by the latter that he didn't want to have intercourse. Zayne alleged that he was then subjected to verbal abuse throughout filming by DiMaggio, and that he struggled in the aftermath with defining the events that occurred.

Today, DiMaggio has broken his silence with a statement in which he "vehemently denies" Zayne's allegations, claiming that "all of [his] relations with [Zayne] have been consensual," and implying that Zayne is a scorned lover.

"I vehemently deny all these allegations. These horrific accusations have shocked me to my core. All of my relations with this person have been consensual and willing.

"The current accusations against me range from the patently untrue to hurtful. Also, stating he WILLINGLY had sex with me. Furthermore, he never said "no." I'm hurt by these false accusations and malicious, slanderous statements that are simply not true. The presumption of 'innocent until proven guilty' must not be replaced by 'Guilty by Association.'
(op note: ...)

"Not wanting to further a relationship or not being friendly enough after having consensual sex doesn't give the other person who had different expectations of a romance the right to accuse someone of something so awful.

"Rape is a very serious thing and not a word to be thrown around. To all my friends and followers please use this opportunity to open a healthy dialogue and not as an opportunity to attack or belittle anyone.

"Thank you for all your love and support,

"Topher DiMaggio"

Now, Zayne has once again taken to his own Twitter account to share messages of solidarity he received in the aftermath of his initial post. The screenshotted DMs and text messages allege similar experiences with DiMaggio, who, in addition to acting in porn, models for underwear brand Andrew Christian as one of their "Trophy Boys."

Taryn Manning is Pissed That Her Stylist Put Her in a $200 Dress at the SAG Awards

Orange is the New Black's Taryn Manning received a lot of praise from the fashion press for her SAG Awards gown, a $200 off-the-rack Adrianna Papell dress, but apparently she's not happy about it.

A TMZ paparazzi tried to congratulate her on it at the airport, saying it was "dope" and she tells him to "shut up, you're annoying" and tries to storm off. He asks her why, and she says "My $200 dress, is that what you said?" He responds, "Yeah, it's cool" and she replies:

"No, it's not. It's wack that my stylist didn't tell me that. Now everyone else can afford it, that's what's cool about it, but it still sucks for me... I want to be in like a superstar gown."

"So the designer got a lot of press. You should pay me a lot of money."

Music Industry Is A Sausage Fest - Explains All The Shit Music On The Charts

A new study has looked at the gender divide in the music industry and it's exactly what you'd expect given all the males making the charts an auditory health hazard:

In an analysis of the top 600 songs from 2012 to 2017 — defined by Billboard’s year-end Hot 100 chart for each of those six years — the study found that of 1,239 performing artists, 22.4 percent of them were women.

Of the 2,767 songwriters credited on those songs, 12.3 percent were women. Female producers — the people most responsible for the sound of pop music — are even rarer, at just 2 percent in a subset of 300 songs across this same period, the study found.

Of the 899 individuals who have been nominated for the last six Grammy ceremonies, 90.7 percent were men and 9.3 percent were women.

Liza Weil on the Insane Twists Ahead in HTGAWM

$

Liza Weil (Bonnie) spoke with MarieClarie.com recently about many things mostly about 'How To Get Away With Murder' but #Metoo and Melania Trump. Here's what she has to say:

On how Season 4 will end:
"We are so in the dark. We, as a cast, are learning where the season is going to go episode-by-episode. We don't really have too much of an idea of how Season 4 is going to end still, and we're about to start shooting Episode 14. We're two away from the end, and honestly I'm not sure how we're going to wrap this up."

On whether we'll learn more about Bonnie's baby:
"I hope so, I think that's a really informative piece of information that we all learned this season—just how dark Bonnie's past is, and what she's overcome as a person. What we learned story-wise in Season 4 goes so much further than Season 3, and it really changed how I play Bonnie—so I do hope that's something that could come up again in the future. I'm not sure if we'll touch on it in this season, but if we go again, I hope we will."

On filming HTGAWM with #MeToo top of mind:
"We have a very close-knit set, and in terms of our work environment that's not something we've ever had to deal with on the job. Behind the scenes, everybody is exceedingly respectful. That's the way it should be in every work environment and we've been lucky that's the case where we work. I'm an actor and I don't necessarily feel that comfortable being a voice for things—I support everything that's happening, and I feel like it's a necessary movement forward, but for me it's been interesting to be able to express myself through a character I'm currently playing, and kind of put it out in the world that way."

On how she wants Bonnie's story to end:
"Bare-bones, my hope is that she's not hanging in the attic. I hope she's alive. Because of the nature of our show, at this point, that's really all I can hope for. I hope it doesn't get so dark that it's over in a complete bloodbath."

On HTGAWM being Melania Trump's favorite show:
"I will reveal that there is a group text thread that the cast has, and that was a dark day for all of us."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
she also talks about Bonnie's love for Annalise and will Bonnie ever find love, her relationship with costar Charlie Weber, the crossover between with Scandal and the revival of Gilmore Girls (@ the source)

speaking of the crossover, the way both shows will handle Liza Weil dual roles (since she played the now dead Amanda Tanner on Scandal) is: Bonnie "will not appear in the Scandal episode of the crossover and will not cross paths with any Scandal characters during the HTGAWM episode"

Lupita Nyong'o was so excited for #BlackPanther, she signed on to star before she even read the script. The Oscar winner calls Marvel's latest "an aspirational world where an African people are in charge of their own destiny. And that really appealed to me and had the little girl inside me jumping for joy. To just have African people, black people, at the center of that narrative is so exciting.”

Jensen Ackles and Wife Danneel Talk About their 'Family Business Beer Co.'

• The name of Jensen and Danneel Ackles' 15-acre brewery is Family Business Beer Co. which is located in Dripping Springs, outside of Austin, TX.

• They own the company alongside Jensen's brother-in-law, Gino Graul, and his in-laws, Ed and Debby Graul.

• Jensen and Co. were in search of an experienced brewer to complete their team at Family Business Beer Co. and hired Nate Seale, formerly of (512) Brewing, where he worked for six years.

• Beer geeks were ecstatic that Nate Seale was involved and was returning to Austin and waited hours in line on opening day with Supernatural fans. (what kind of hell?)

• The permanent food truck at the brewery is Jep’s Southern Roots, from owners Jep and Jessica Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame, which specialize in Southern-style grub. (oh.)

• Watch a clip behind the cut of their interview with channel KXAN and watch the interviewer smell Jensen.

James Franco was supposed to be on the cover Vanity Fair's 2018 Hollywood Issue

  • Earlier today Vanity Fair released their 2018 cover issue. Missing from the photo? James Franco who was initially part of the featured lineup

  • He was removed because of recent allegations that he had exhibited inappropriate and sexually exploitative behavior towards several women

  • No word yet on who ended up replacing Franco (OP note: Graydon Carter?) or if the issue was supposed to feature 13 stars and was cut down to 12

  • The photo is digitally pieced together from seperate photographs so removing him was not a big deal

  • Vanity Fair comfirmed the news "We made a decision not to include James Franco on the Hollywood cover once we learned of the misconduct allegations against him."

Why did the Oscars snub James Franco but not Gary Oldman?

$

James Franco was flying high at the Golden Globes. He picked up the award for Best Actor, Musical or Comedy and he also won a Critics’ Choice Award on January 11, but didn’t show up to collect it, and reportedly received tepid applause. Franco was facing massive backlash due to several women coming forward with sexual abuse allegations. The Globes and Critics Choice awards are fairly good indicators of who will get nominated for an Academy Award. Academy Award nominations were announced and Franco's name was nowhere in sight. Although The Disaster Artist did receive a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. Oscar Best Actor Nominee Gary Oldman is a front runner for his performance as Winston Churchill but Oldman's shady past resurfaced when then-wife Donya Fiorentino’s 2001 accusations that he assaulted her with a telephone in front of the couple’s children. “I tried to dial 911. Gary grabbed the phone receiver from my hand, and hit me in the face with the telephone receiver three or four times. Both of the children were crying,” Florentine said. If Hollywood is truly committed to changing its behavior and reversing the power dynamic that has persisted for too long, it would look not only at actor and creators’ professional actions, but their interactions in their personal lives as well — and not just at the current moment of #MeToo and Time's Up. Many people have criticized Hollywood for trying to be the vanguard about a problem that cuts across all industries, particularly plaguing women in working class fields. If the entertainment industry wants awards season to serve as an opportunity to shine a light on society’s insidious power imbalance that gives rise to harassment and misconduct, it can’t overlook men’s past actions in the name of an accomplishment on the road to a little gold statue.

Justin Timberlake’s “Say Something” is nothing

$

No Justice Timberlake is on his third single in three weeks and still desperate for a massive hit. "Mayo of the Woods", is slated to be released next week but his first 2 singles didn't live up to his label's expecations and neither serve up the slice of ‘Americana’ Timberlake has been promising for his upcoming album, a worrying sign of a clear musical identity crisis.

Timberlake revolutionized pop in the ‘00s with the help of The Neptunes and Timbaland, but is it surprising that after 15 years of collaboration the resulting music has come to sound stale, tired and predictable that was "Filthy". It is certainly not as grating as the similarly nonsensical amalgamation "Supplies". Mayo seems rooted in the concept of reinvention, yet is unwilling to change up his personnel to make that transformation feasible. Now he is pandering to the country fan base with "Say Something", Spin reviewed it: "More like a 2003 Lifehouse ballad than a Alan Jackson song".

The pop landscape is drastically different from five years ago. Timberlake is an ageing man in a young person’s game, someone who has proudly never chased trends but his level and brand of fame is ill suited to the modern realities of pop stardom. For the most part, ‘pop stardom’ doesn’t really exist anymore. There isn’t any one person who holds that much of a grip over the whole industry the way Timberlake once had. Currently Say Something is being toppled by Drake's God's Plan on iTunes.
