The latest single off her debut album, Everyone Afraid To Be Forgotten (out Feb 16th), was released today. The video is a haunting live version of the song filmed in a small church in Sweden. She told fans that this church is same place where she began to master singing and playing piano. “There were no instruments in my home and no places to hang out living in the middle of nowhere. I was allowed to exercise my singing in church, so this is where it all began for me”.

The final version of the song is available now on Spotify and features Jamie Irrepresible.

- Sulwe is a 5 y/o girl growing up in Kenya who has the darkest skin in her family, which makes her uncomfortable. She tries to find a way to lighten it and embarks on an adventure in the night sky. She begins to see beauty differently during her adventure and with her mother's help.
- Lupita wrote it for that age group as that is the age when “you learn all the things that you spend the rest of your life trying to unlearn”

Annie Murphy on Schitt's Creek's funniest season yet

On reuniting with cast for Season 4:"We feel really cheesy saying it, but being back on-set feels like the first day of summer camp, and seeing all of your best buds again. We’ve all become good friends over the course of these four years, so it’s nice to get everyone in one spot for a few months.”

On where you can find most of the cast members hanging on-set:"Most of us can be found by the craft services table snacking. We go between snacking and sitting behind the monitors because even though we’re allowed, of course, to go to our trailers, it’s so hard to do when Eugene and Catherine are filming a scene together. We’re usually watching from behind the monitors with candy or popcorn."

Does the actress ever want to keep Alexis' wardrobe?"All the time. There’s so much that is so beautiful, over-thetop and expensive. Never in a million years would I personally buy those pieces, but I’d lust after them for a while."

On watching Eugene Levy bond with his two children Dan (David) and Sarah (Twyla) on-set:"It is so cool to see the dynamic between Eugene and his two kids on-set. It’s especially wonderful to watch Eugene watch either Dan or Sarah in a scene that he’s not a part of. Eugene stands by the monitors and mouths the lines, with this very sweet, loving smile on his face. It’s so sweet to watch."

A new episode of Schitt's Creek premieres next Tuesday on CBC in Canada.
Schitt's Creek premieres in the United States on Pop! January 24th.

French Actress Brigitte Bardot Slams #MeToo Movement As ‘Hypocritical’

"In the vast majority of cases they are being hypocritical, ridiculous, uninteresting. There are many actresses who flirt with producers in order to get a role. Then, in order to be talked about, they will say they have been harassed. In reality, rather than benefiting them, it harms them. Me, I was never the victim of sexual harassment and I found it charming when I was told that I was beautiful or I had a nice little backside. This kind of compliment is nice.”

Kevin Williamson Revisits Dawson's Creek on Its 20th Anniversary

Tomorrow marks the twentieth anniversary of Dawson's Creek's premiere on the WB. Kevin Williamson (creator and showrunner for its first two seasons) was asked to revisit the series in celebration of the landmark birthday.

-Where do you think Dawson, Pacey and Joey are today?
I think they're still best friends. I don't think they see enough of each other and they really wish they could. I think that they probably text each other a lot (laughs). I think Pacey and Joey are very much still together and have kids.
Twenty years after its premiere, when you think about the show, what do you think its legacy is?

There are so many ways to approach that answer. I was trying to get a career off the ground because I was so broke and remember having a professor tell me that writing has to be personal. I looked around and said, "What is the show I want to watch? What's not being made?" That's why I wrote Scream, because nobody was making a horror movie that I wanted to see. And when Paul approached me about TV, the shows that meant something to me was Beverly Hills, 90210, James at 15 and Little House on the Prairie. I remember how Charles (Michael Landon) and [his daughter] Half Pint (Laura, played by Melissa Gilbert) would have all their emotional moments at the end of an episode and it would always be some revelation of the human condition even in its most simple form. I remember watching and studying the pilot for My So-Called Life because it was so beautiful. I tried to write something that was personal to me. I did grow up on a creek and all those characters [in Dawson's Creek] I knew. A lot of them were pieces of me that I turned into real people. I wanted to make the teen drama of the 1990s; to create my version of 90210, James at 15 and Little House of the Prairie. I wanted it to speak to the teenage audience of the day.

TV Shows to Avoid if You're Easily Offended (or a "Snowflake")

$

Apparently, after Friends was added to Netflix, a bunch of people (who are referred to as "millennials" and "snowflakes") took it to twitter to complain about how the show is fat-shaming (jokes about Monica's weight) and homophobic (Chandler being ashamed of his drag queen dad) and saying the show's jokes are outdated for the current climate.

The article takes it upon itself to act as a guide for the enraged millennials and consists of shows to avoid such as:

The Office
Insensitive jokes about race, a misogynist boss and all around offensive jokes.

Will & Grace
Gay stereotyping and Jewish jokes.

Rest of the shows to avoid include Peep Show, The Inbetweeners and Gavin & Stacey.

Netflix' movie 'Step Sisters' premiered today despite controversy regarding cultural appropriation

$

-The movie is about the president of a black sorority who gets asked to teach one of the white sororities how to dance for a competition so she could get into Harvard. The movie explores cultural appropriation in many forms and is not about the stepping only.

-This premise got a strong reaction on twitter with people protesting. The leads in the movie say that you can't judge the movie before you watch it. The movie shows fighting against prejudice, yet people let prejudice discourage them from watching the movie.

"I understand why some people are put off by the log line," Echikunwoke said. "But it's one of those movies where you have to watch it."
Jervier added: "The stepping and humor put honey on what might be a tough pill for people to swallow. You receive a message without you knowing you're there to get one."
-"The people who made this film are in the culture depicted," the writer of the movie said, noting that writer Chuck Hayward ("Fat Camp," "Dear White People") and Jones himself are both members of black greek-letter organizations. "We understand the special nature of black greek organizations and we're paying homage to that and creating some space where we can have some dialogue about it."

"This film is very aware of itself,"the producer said, "No one is trying to be offensive. At the end of the day, the film is about sharing culture. Culture is meant to be appreciated and explored by everyone."
Echikunwoke, the star of the movie agreed, saying she "understand[s] and empathize[s] when people feel like someone is taking ownership" of their culture.
"As long as you are honest about where it comes from and make it more of a celebration of someone's heritage, I think that's a great thing, to celebrate people and other art forms," she said. "The problem comes when you try to say 'this is mine.'"
