*Festival will kick off with a tribute to Barbara Streisand, who will take part in a "special conversation illuminating her work in television."

James Franco is asked about criticism for wearing a "Time's Up" pin while he has recently come under fire for sexual misconduct by actresses via Twitter.

Although he claims he did not read the Tweets, yet he's willing to listen, learn and change his perspective.



This echoes his 2015 interview on Live With Kelly & Michael. He responded to allegations he attempted to hook up with a 17 year old girl by saying he learned his lesson.

Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who pretended to be black, is protesting H&M's "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle" hoodie by selling a hoodie that's just as racist. Hers says "Coolest Prince in the Hood."

She claims that the "hood" part was supposed to be a play-on word for "hoodie." Still a dumbass.

So, I did a first design in response to H&M's "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle" shirt that said "Coolest Prince in the Hood," because it's a hooded sweatshirt/neighborhood, etc. Some people liked it, some didn't like the word "hood." I called production and asked them to change it to "Coolest Prince in the World." So, if you want one of the updated ones, go to the link in the bio. So drunk guy Steve claimed he "punched" Harvey Weinstein twice in the face at a Scottsdale restaurant while decrying Weinstein's treatment of women - but only after Weinstein was "belligerent" when Steve asked him for a picture.

The restaurant manager said Weinstein wasn't rude at all and neither of Steve's blows made any contact with Harvey.

TMZ got the video. So who was telling the truth? No one.

Steve did make contact with Harvey's face while calling him a "piece of shit" for "fucking with those women", but his blows were just fairly light backhanded slaps, not punches. Harvey is very aware of the cameras while it's happening and barely reacts.

And there's audio from earlier showing Harvey wasn't belligerent at all when Steve approached him - he actually said "thank you, Steve, that's very nice of you" while Steve was fawning over him. He also responded to something inaudible that Steve said by saying: "Those days are over. I no longer seek that life. That's not for me any more." .

JT is also performing at the Super Bowl, although Janet Jackson is barred from the Super Bowl because of a performance with JT. Where is his apology to Janet Jackson?


JT's tour tickets are the highest of any act this year, including Taylor Swift, but no one is writing articles about it. Twitter people have been complaining. But why isn't the media reporting his overpriced tickets?

- Allison said Tonya told her she played her mother perfectly, which made Janney almost cry because she felt so bad

- Harding confirmed that Janney's portrayal was uncanny, adding that she doesn't think there was more than one day a week that she didn't get beaten. Her mom denies the abuse

- Margot said she was nervous because she never played a lead where the character's name was in the title, and she also produced the film so if it turned out badly she had no one else to blame

- Also says it's hard not to recognize this is a real life story and she's shaping the view on that person. Hopes that she shaped it in a more positive/slightly more redeeming way than Tonya has experienced in the past

- Margot had been studying Tonya for almost a year and when she learned that Tonya felt sorry she had to play her, Margot was really sad. However Robbie felt like it was the greatest honor that Harding let her play her and she told her she was grateful that Tonya trusted her with this

YouTube celebrity Shane Dawson is being accused of being a pedophile.

Somebody dug up a 4 year old podcast of his where he makes disturbing remarks about kids.

- In his 2013 podcast he described a 6 year old girl as "sexy"
- "Here’s my thing. People have foot fetishes, people have fetishes about… everything. Fine, everybody do your thing… So why is it when somebody looks at naked babies on Google and jerks off to it they can get arrested?” he says in the video
- Dawson responded on twitter saying it was all jokes with punchlines removed out of context, and that it is illegal for him to be acused of being a pedophile (lmfao)

-The house discusses race/racism. Rachel brings up how they are not allowed to use certain identifying words in the media when to comes to criminals. John disagrees and thinks that the media should be able to say "Black assailant" instead of "assailant" since people will assume that "assailant" means white.

-India takes the discussion about race/racism and gears it towards herself and how trans are treated. She doesn't think that Trans shouldn't be latched to the lgbq community. Shane L. sets her straight about how she approaches people and the subject compared to Shane J. who is trying to educate people.

-Ann thinks the world is going mad.

-Andrew and Malika are given a secret mission by BB pitting Men vs. Women. They both must manipulate housemates to do certain things. Andrew ends up winning the first mission.

-Ann prefers Shane to Courtney. She believes Shane is the boyfriend you bring home to meet your parents. Shane J. discusses how men treat Shane/Courtney differentl-Wayne discusses coming out, his friendship with Freddie Mercury, and going through the Aids epidemic.

-Courtney asks Malika on her thoughts on bi-sexual men. She would not able to date a bi guy. Courtney talks about Shanes 3-some with 2 lesbians.

-BB catches Ginuwine and Ashley holding hands under the table.

-Andrew/Courtney create a secrete handshake. Jonny thinks that Courtney may be able hook up with Andrew and they talk about the special bond the 4 guys have with one another.

Paul has lost his Google Preferred ad deal, a lucrative pipeline that “offers brand advertisers access to the most popular YouTube channels.”



An upcoming YouTube Red movie project that Paul was due to star in, The Thinning: New World Order, has been put on hold. He has also been cut from Foursome, a YouTube Red comedy series.

Harper's Magazine was going to release an article doxxing the creators and accusers on the Shitty Men in Media list, but director and former World Karate and Kickboxing Champion Lexi Alexander beat them to the punch with a tweet.

Hours after she tweeted, her twitter page is now gone.

Johnny Weir, retired figure skater and current NBC figure skating commentator, tweeted that he is over the glamorization of Tonya Harding after "I, Tonya" was released and that he stands with Nancy Kerrigan.

Patrick Chan did an interview with NBC Olympic Talk. He says that his main goal for the 2018 Olympics is the team gold. He also says that he is the only current figure skater that can offer both technique and artistry and that he may be the last.

* Interviewed by phone from Sweden, where he is traveling with 'Pod Save America' and 'Lovett or Leave It" podcaster Jon Lovett, to whom THR says "he has been linked romantically". Ronan says only that the two have been "close in recent years".

* Talks about spending four years in a wheelchair and on crutches after contracting a bone infection in his leg in the Sudan when he was 16 and enduring multiple surgeries. He had to go to law school in MC Hammer pants because nothing else fit over his apparatus.

* Was told by attorneys, agents and publicist to drop his investigation into Harvey Weinstein. "Mysterious men" followed him and he was approached by the same undercover female Black Cube agent who befriended Rose McGowan under false pretenses. He had to move out of his Manhattan apartment because it became too risky. CAA Agent Bryan Lourd (Billie's father and Carrie Fisher's ex) tried to set up a meeting between him and Weinstein, which is in part why he fired CAA as his agents.

* On how his family history (including allegations by his sister Dylan that she was molested by their father Woody Allen as a child) informed his choice to investigate:

“You see early in life with that kind of a family background the way in which the most powerful men in America wield power for good and for ill. And probably, yes, the family background made me someone who understood the abuse of power from an early age.

I had to decide over the course of the previous year, as my sister was stalwart in her commitment to reiterating her allegations, what I was going to do about it … I was cornered into looking at all the evidence and realizing, ‘Oh s—t, this is credible, this is real, I can’t avoid this. It put me in a position where I felt it would have been unethical for me to not respond. And the intensity of the backlash I got gave me some understanding of what many survivors were up against.

Woody Allen, legally, ethically, personally was absolutely a father in our family...We have had contact over the years, but he is not someone that I keep up with regularly...It’s not for me to say what Hollywood will or won’t do. I will say that in every industry there are still powerful men facing credible allegations of wrongdoing who continue to evade accountability. As empowering a moment as this moment is, there’s still a long way to go.”

BTS Make History (Again) On the U.S. Billboard Charts and Other News

Here's some good news to brighten up your day, ONTD.


BTS's "MIC Drop Remix" make U.S. history chart on HOT100 after their well received New Year Rockin Eve performance. This makes BTS the longest charting Korean act on Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks with Mic Drop Remix rising 16 spots and the best & longest charting Korean act on BB 200 for 13 weeks Love Yourself HER rising 34 spots on the Billboard 200.

With BTS's comeback looming (estimated March?) I'm curious to see how much they sell with all the new fans they've acquired over the past 2 months. #1 on BB20 will be pretty easy. A gold certification is maybe even possible. Top 10 in BB100 will be very, very difficult. Even popular songs struggle #dualipanewrules.

BTS is featured in Silicon Valley's newest trailer.
