Piers Morgan says Nancy Kerrigan was the real victim, Tonya Harding almost ends interview

- Tonya is back in the spotlight thanks to I, Tonya, the movie about her life starred and produced by Margot Robbie

- She almost cut short her appearance on Good Morning Britain when host Piers Morgan kept trying to pin down whether she was involved in the 1994 attack on her rival Nancy Kerrigan

- Harding tried to focus on the new biopic and how the movie will help abuse victims realize it's okay to ask for help, but Piers wasn't having it. He said that maybe it suited her playing the victim but the real victim was Nancy Kerrigan, who had her Olympic dream shattered

- When Tonya suggested she was about to leave, Morgan asked if she was going to end the interview because he thought Nancy was the victim, not her

- Morgan asked if she was in on the plan to attack Nancy, Tonya said no and he ended the interview

ONTD Original: All the men who worked with Woody Allen since Dylan Farrow's op-ed

$
0
0

Woody Allen's transgressions are well known around here. He's a pedophile and is still able to make films with Amazon, one of the biggest companies in the world. While we know of all the famous women who have worked with him recently, the men seem to be untouched. Not one man mentioned #MeToo in their speech at the Golden Globes nor were they asked about it on the red carpet. This post was made to highlight all the shitty men who have worked with Woody Allen since. They can claim they may not have known before 2014 but there is no reason to use this excuse now.

Colin Firth

“And you know, I don’t have to think too hard about working with Woody Allen.”

While Colin did start working on this film in 2013, he has been in the industry for way too long to claim ignorance. Colin worked on "Magic in the Moonlight" with Woody and was even shown in yellow face in the film.

Timothee Chalamet

ONTD Fave Timothee Chalamet is going to be Woody Allen's next film called "A Rainy Day in New York". I'm sure he'll find some way to regret this decision after the film is released. At this point, he could slaughter a bunch of kids and people will still find a way to cape for this poor mans Finn Wolfhard.

Joaquin Phoenix

"I've always admired him, but I don't think people appreciate Woody as an actor,"

Joaquin is no stranger to associating himself with assholes, prob b/c he's one himself. If you don't recall, Joaquin and Casey locked themselves in a room of a woman Casey sexually harassed with the intent of having sex with two women. Casey was married to Joaquin's sister at the time. Joaquin has also worked with Woody on "Irrational Man" in 2015.

Jude Law

Jude Law is very deserving of his awful hairline for not only working with Woody Allen in "A Rainy Day in New York" but for also donating $500 to Time's Up. I guess he hasn't cashed in that Dumbledore check yet? Jude's character has a sex scene with 15 year old in the film but actors will do anything for ~*~art~*~.

Jesse Eisenberg

"Woody Allen is just so efficient and clever that he's able to make these wonderful movies in a way which no one else is working."

This would be Jesse's second time working with Woody Allen. He first worked on "To Rome with Love" back in 2012 and this would be their second collaboration in "Cafe Society". When asked about the fact that Woody allegedly molested his daughter and married his son's sister, Kristen Stewart spoke for both her and Jesse. She said, "At the end of the day, Jesse and I talked about this. If we were persecuted for the amount of shit that’s been said about us that’s not true, our lives would be over. The experience of making the movie was so outside of that, it was fruitful for the two of us to go on with it.”

Liev Schreiber

Along with Jude and Timothee, Liev will also be starring in "A Rainy Day in New York". They say life imitates art and it's true in this case as he is literally acting out a Woody Allen film by dating a 25 year old.

Steve Carell

Steve Carell also starred in "Cafe Society" along with Jesse, Corey Stoll, Ken Stott, Paul Schneider, Tony Sirico, and Stephen Kunken. Carell had the fucking nerve to wear the "Time's Up" pin on the Golden Globes red carpet while making films with a pedophile.

Justin Timberlake

"I was like, I think he’s forgetting that he’s Woody Allen and that I’d love to work with him, honestly. So yeah, I read the script and didn’t even make a joke to play coy. I said, 'Yeah, I’m in.'"

Serious Actor Justin Timberlake wasn't asked about much of anything on the red carpet. He was too busy interrupting Jessica Biel, who was nominated for her performance. Justin was one of the biggest hypocrites on the red carpet that night. He just recently starred in "Wonder Wheel" with Woody Allen and wore a "Time's Up" pin on the carpet along with all black attire. He also tweeted about the campaign.

Jim Belushi, David Krumholtz (candidate for biggest jackass of 2018), Tony Sirico (again), and Steve Schirripa also starred in Wonder Wheel.

Diego Luna

Diego Luna just recently starred in box office hit "Rogue One" so of course he jumped to do a Woody Allen film next. He will also be starring in "A Rainy Day in New York". Luna faced a lot of fan backlash over his decision to work with Woody Allen but has yet to speak out about the matter from what I have seen so far.

Bojack Horseman Reruns to Air on Cable?

$

In an extremely rare move for an original Netflix series, the rerun rights to this animated show are being shopped around to cable buyers. In the early days of producing their original programming, Netflix didn't lock up global rights on their shows so Tornante, a production company for Bojack, was able to retain off-network rights.

“I’m very proud of ‘BoJack Horseman.’ Who knew a washed up sitcom star, who happens to be a horse, would drive the best reviews of any television show or movie in which I have been involved in my career? This business is all about who you work with creatively. Thank goodness (creator) Raphael Bob-Waksberg walked through my door," said Michael Eisner, the head of Tornante.

Even though it's unlikely that other Netflix shows will follow, the article speculates that the sale of these rights will be watched closely to see the value of an original Netflix show in the wider TV market.

“In an era when addictive, laugh-out-loud comedies are in short supply, ‘BoJack Horseman’ delivers what cable networks have been missing,” said Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein who are the chiefs of the distribution company Debmar-Mercury.

USA Show on Biggie & Tupac's Murders Won't Have Their Music But Will Draw Conclusions

$

Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. will span three timelines: 1993 when the two rappers were friends; 1997 as a detective investigates Biggie's death; and 2006 when the case is reopened by a new task force. Premiering Feb 27, it will star Wavyy Jonez, Marcc Rose, Jimmi Simpson, Josh Duhamel, Bokeem Woodbine, Letoya Luckett and others.

Woodbine, who got to work with Tupac, says this about the show: “The story of the assassinations of Tupac and Christopher Wallace are exemplary of something I’ve always said, which is that the truth is stranger than fiction. Their real life stories were allegorical and we can draw all types of wisdom from happened to these men in real life. We’re giving the audience a perspective of the investigation and the minutia of detail. There are all of these singular details that build up this case of these monolithic figures in music culture and black culture and American culture. We get an opportunity to examine what happened to them from an almost forensic perspective.”

And apparently, at the end of its 10 episodes, the show will point in certain directions.

There’s very little ambiguity after the culmination of all 10 episodes. We’re being transparent out of respect to those that have passed and those that live with the pain of those that have passed. Sometimes transparency draws conclusions.”

---

But don't expect to hear any of their songs.

“The music that you hear in the pilot is more inspired by the era,” said co-producer and music supervisor Lyan Beth LeFlore at the TCAs. “We pay homage to...Biggie and Tupac and their legacies, what they mean as cultural icons of hip-hop. What we are doing is respecting the estates. There’s still a lot of pain with both of those stories [but] we are still pursuing [the music rights].

“We are very authentic with our approach to recreating and capturing the soundtrack of Biggie and Tupac. We’re really capturing the East and West Coast sounds in this show.” It was noted that they are working with several producers and songwriters of the era though to faithfully re-create that sound.

Some guy ("Steve") says he walked up to Weinstein at the restaurant and said "You're such a piece of shit for what you did to those women" and then punched him in the face twice, causing Weinstein to stumble backward and almost fall (this was after he says Weinstein became belligerent with him earlier in the night when he approached him to ask to take a picture and tell him he loved his movies).

The restaurant manager says that Weinstein was never belligerent and neither of Steve's punches actually connected. Both manager and Steve agree that Steve was pretty drunk at the time.

Weinstein declined to press charges.

Radiohead denies suing Lana Del Rey over copyright (but still wants credit)

  • On Sunday, Lana Del Rey confirmed reports that Radiohead planned to sue her for full publishing rights to her song "Get Free," due to their assertion that it borrows heavily from their 1993 hit "Creep"

  • Del Rey went on to tell her Denver audience Sunday evening that "Get Free" might not be included on future pressings of her 2017 album 'Lust for Life'

  • Now, Radiohead's music publisher (Warner/Chappell) has responded to the stories, stating that they've "been in discussions since August of last year with Lana Del Rey’s representatives" seeking credit for the writers of "Creep" on 'Lust for Life,' but that "no lawsuit has been issued and Radiohead have not said they ‘will only accept 100%’ of the publishing for 'Get Free.'"
