Is Britney Spears releasing a new album in 2018?

Hold onto your knickers, girls: the release of B10 (BX?) may be closer than we think. A journalist at B*zzF**d attended this Sunday's Golden Globes, where he received "on the record" word from singer-songwriter Justin Tranter that new Britney Spears material is in the offing. Tranter, along with frequent collaborator Julia Michaels, contributed several tracks to 2016's critically lauded 'Glory,' including single "Slumber Party" and fan favorites "Better" and "Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortés)."

Discussing the songwriting process for 'Glory,' during which Spears co-wrote with Tranter/Michaels tracks "Invitation," "Just Like Me," and "Better," Tranter said, "Nobody ever talks about Britney as a writer and she's f**king great, like insane. Her concepts were bold and smart and very left of centre, in a good way. Melodically, she has melodies for days. How come no one mentions that this girl can write the f**k out of a song?"

Catherine Deneuve speaks against #MeToo, defends men's "freedom to importune" women

Catherine Deneuve is among 100 other female French artists, journalists, doctors and randoms who signed a petition published on Le Monde speaking out AGAINST #MeToo (and the French equivalent #BalanceTonPorc).

The petition says rape is a crime, but defends men's freedom to importune women, to hit on women "insistently" or "awkwardly".

The signatories are very sad about men being punished or fired for only "touching a knee, trying to steal a kiss, speaking of intimate things during a professional dinner or sending sexual messages to a woman who doesn't reciprocate".

They say this "fever to send the pigs to slaughter" (aka calling out abusive men) is serving the interests of religious extremists.

Say they don't see themselves represented in a feminism that, under guise of denouncing abuse of power, assumes the form of hating men and sexuality.

During an interview with ABC’s Laura Spencer on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, actor David Harbour (Sheriff Jim Hopper on Stranger Things) was asked what “Time’s Up” meant to him. “Real quick,” Spencer said to Harbour, dressed in all black and a Time’s Up pin on his lapel. “Time’s Up on blank.”

“Uhhhh,” Harbour said. “I mean. Time’s Up on, umm...like, women not getting the respect that they deserve in the workplace. I think Time’s Up on women not getting the respect that they deserve in the workplace.”

The View rips Ivanka Trump for praising Oprah Winfrey's speech at the Golden Globes this past weekend. The panel doesn't understand how you can support an endeavor such as Times Up when her father has received allegations of sexual misconduct by 19 women. The View also question what has she done for women during her father's administration. Joy states where is the logic of believing on this set of women as in Times Up but not the accusers of your father. Whoopi's counter argument is that she just likes the speech.

Other things talked about by the panel was Trump not knowing the national anthem while at the Alabama vs. Georgia game, should presidents get mental health exams, and do Americans really want Oprah as president. Lady Bird's Greta Gerwig is on The View talking about the film and their win at the Golden Globes.

If you didn't know Sara Haines gave birth to beautiful baby girl during the break for the The View while she is on the maternity leave, the show opted to have different guests as part of the panel. Today's guest host was Ashley Graham she talks about her own #MeToo moment, working with Terry Richardson, judging America's Next Top Model, and fashion for plus-sized women.

A Case Against the Spanglish in Riverdale

-Welcome to another edition of OP exposing the problematic show that he loves and will probs keep watching because dumpster fires are hard to look away from

-First I'd like to preface by saying this writer calls Riverdale the best show on television. React accordingly.
-Praises Riverdale for its (surface-level) diversity, focusing primarily on the character Veronica Lodge and her family's change from white in the comics to Latino in the show
-Criticizes the use of Spanglish in regards to the Lodge family, as just about every episode Hermione or Hiram Lodge refer to their daughter as "mija" to remind viewers that they are Latino, but fail to speak much Spanish otherwise
-Riverdale doesn't elaborate on exactly where the Lodge family originates from culturally, basically making them ambiguous Latinos despite the community spanning dozens of countries, and they don't really do any cultural things beside spout "mija" and "mi amor" every once in a while
-Hermione does speak one full line of Spanish in this scene:

-But this article seems to think her parenting isn't a very realistic depiction of the Latin community either:

"To be honest, though, if Veronica’s mom was really that Latina, Veronica would never get away with half the shit she pulled in season one."

-Praises Jane the Virgin for its realistic depiction of dual Spanish/English-speakers and dynamics within the Latin-American community

After Being Exposed by Tessa Thompson, "Lena Dunham" Donates to Time's Up + Responds

Lena Dunham, who called Aurora Perrineau (who accused Girls' writer Murray Miller of rape) a liar, has inserted herself in the Time's Up movement against sexual harassment. She was spotted in the above pic (posted on insta by Laura Dern) among other Time's Up activists.

After being exposed on instagram by Tessa Thompson for not actually doing any of the work or showing up for the meetings and just randomly appearing for the photoshoot (and by ONTD for not even having donated), Lena Dunham responded:

"When you've had this job for as long as I have, which is seven or eight years now, and you've caused some mayhem at times, the internet doesn't necessarily have the same power it used to. I just feel so lucky that I've gotten to be a part of so many amazing moments and movements in my career. I feel really at peace with the fact that there are moments where you're the hero, moments where you're the villain and moments where you're magic and moments where you're less magic. It's a journey that has strengthened me in ways that are really, really powerful."

A donation in her name of $15k has just appeared on the Time's Up GoFundMe. When you click on her name, though, it appears the donation has actually been made from Amy Schumer's profile.A donation in the name of Jenni Konner (Girls writer, also defended Miller), was made right after and also redirects to Schumer's profile. This is NOT happening when you click on any of the other donations. So what is the truth?

And by the way, still no apology to Aurora.
