Five of the Worst Movie Sex Scenes of All Time

It's Sunday and the best day to discuss sex in pop culture and film on Ontd because everyone's attention is mostly undivided. So here are five out of ten of the worst sex scenes of all time in film:

  • [10] The Room (2003), which really deserves to be number one and shamed into eternity for Tommy Wiseau's alledgedly abusive behavior towards actress Juliette Danielle while filming the unnecessary scene.
    "The Room and sex have a very interesting relationship, but nothing is as [gross] as the oh-too-long bellybutton sex scene."

  • [8] The Return Of Swamp Thing (1989), "After telling his love interest they can never be together the way she wants, he offers her a rolled up cylinder of swamp leaves that kind of looks like it could be swamp creature junk. After she accepts it, she’s transported to an elaborate fantasy sequence where the love of her life isn’t a swamp monster but a hot dude ready to go." Um, alright.

  • [6] Splice (2009), Adrien Brody who went from winning an Oscar and purchasing actual castles, to acting in 99 cent bin Z-list movies even Redbox wouldn't bother with, stars in this bizarre sci-fi film that could have been ghost written by Woody Allen. "Brody’s character literally gives her [Dren] life and raises her from babyhood. That’s why it’s so messed up when, just a few months later, he decides that banging his creepy science daughter is a good idea."

  • [3] Twilight: Breaking Dawn (2011), "Edward (Robert Pattinson) makes Bella (Kristen Stewart) wait until their wedding night until they get freaky. When they finally decide to do the deed, Edward ends up breaking the bed in what’s supposed to be a fit of passion but watches more like a silly moment from fan fic."

  • [2] Observe and Report (2009), unfunny rape scene, end of story.

    Academy Members regret banning Weinstein so hastily

    - The Academy has found itself in quite the dilemma. They immediately banned Weinstein 9 days after the explosive report by the NYT. What are they going to with all the other scumbags who have been accused? Spacey, Hoffman, Toback, Affleck, Ratner have all been accused since. Members of the Board of Governors called an emergency meeting after a petition reached 100,000 signatures that called for Weinstein to be banned.

    - Casey Affleck, Roman Polanski, and Bill Cosby are still members despite the shit they’ve done.

    - One male member of the board of governors said they didn’t have a choice. Some members were vehement but they didn’t weigh out the repercussions when banning Weinstein according to this member. Kathleen Kennedy and other female members panicked and felt compelled to act. They thought Weinstein would hurt the credibility of the Academy. There’s been problems and fights among members. They didn’t realize how slippery it would be since there have been other members of the Academy who have been accused that have not been banned.

    Prince Harry and Meghan are Extending Bar Hours in the UK

    It was announced today that pubs and bars can stay open extra late on the day of the new royal wedding. Usually pubs were forced to close early for royal weddings, but Harry and Meghan are edgy and different from other royals.



    Also the UK government has been forcing out homeless people who sleep nearby the wedding venue months before the ceremony. Harry and Meghan did not intervene on the behalf of these homeless people, nor have commented about the escalating homeless problem in the UK.

    Liam Gallagher Kicks Off On Twitter Towards Brother, Noel

    News broke back in December that the Gallagher brothers appeared to have reconciled based on some December 19th tweets by younger brother, Liam Gallagher, in which he said he was looking forward to meeting with "team NG" and that his brother had reached out to him.

    Well, it seems the brotherly love didn't make it into the new year as Liam took to twitter today to take issue with some comments made by his older brother during an interview that was recorded before their alleged reconciliation.




    These comments come from a Sodajerker podcast interview with Noel which you can listen to here.




    The part Liam seems to take particular issue with is Noel's accusations against Richard Ashcroft's songwriting.




















    Liam continued to tweet:




    He then tweeted: NG PW JM park the bus. (referring to Noel, Paul Weller, and vegan prince Johnny Marr) but it appears that he deleted the tweet and OP couldn't get a screen cap (because he never deletes tweets, wtf).










    This is referring to Noel supporting U2 on tour in 2017. Liam has tweeted many times about his dislike for U2 and Bono.




    Both Liam and Noel's solo records went to #1 on the charts in the UK (Noel's being his 10th number one album in a row) - but Liam outsold Noel. Liam's debut solo album, As You Were, outsold the rest of the top 10 on the UK charts combined and also achieved the highest single-week vinyl sales in 20 years.




    Former Oasis guitarist (and original band member) Paul Arthurs (aka Bonehead) retweeted Liam's tweet with clapping emojis:

    Taylor Kitsch, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler showed their friendship is still going strong six years after Friday Night Lights wrapped (bring it back!).

    Kyle and Taylor were seen eating lunch together today in Texas and earlier this week they showed their support for Taylor and his annual NYE charity event to raise money for the African Children's Choir. Derek Phillips, Taylor's on screen brother, Billy Riggins, was there as well.

    While Connie Britton is in the new FOX series, 911, Kyle is taking a break from filming 'First Man' with Ryan Gosling in Atlanta. Meanwhile, Taylor Kitsch can be seen as David Koresh in the six part mini-series 'Waco', which premieres later this month.

    CBB Day 6: Bring In The Men!

    -The women are asked if they would like men in the house with half of them split between retaining the dynamic they have and the other half wanting to bring in change.

    -The women are asked to assign jobs to the incoming males which pisses off Ann as she thinks both sexes should be treated as equals. India is not happy as has a fear of Drag Queens.

    -Ann refuses to sleep in a room with 7 men and asks for the women to either divide up between the two rooms or have her move back in (she previously moved out since one of them couldn't deal with snoring)

    -India is not happy about having to give up her single bed and complains to BB who informs her that the bed was intended for Ann from the beginning which leads to India to lag on Ann.

    -The men are all good sports about the jobs they are assigned.

    -Courtney reveals that majority of her relationships have been with straight/bi/pan-sexual men.

    -India asks Genuwine and Andrew if they would date a Trans-Woman. Genuwine reveals that he would not. Andrew seemed to get off the hook of answering due to all the voices in the mix. Kim Ks friend Malika says "its a preference" and goes on to call India a glorified victim "if he doesnt want you, he doesnt want you" after India storms off. Malika would not be mad if someone did not want to date her due to her color.

    -Shane makes his grand entrance after his shower.
