Jeremy Renner offers $5,000 reward for missing dog
On July 19, the actor's 1-year-old French Bulldog, Hemi, got out of his L.A. home near Runyon Canyon when a power failure occurred and the front gate slid open. Renner, per People, is offering a $5,000 reward for the dog's safe return—no questions asked.
There's even a Facebook page devoted to Hemi's safe return, providing details on the pup and ways to ensure he makes his way back to his family. At the time of his escape, Hemi was wearing a collar but not his identification tags. He is not microchipped.
Weighing in at 25 pounds, the "very friendly" Frenchie is mostly tan with a black face. He requires daily medication for his hip condition, so by now he might have a limp or noticeable stiffness in his gait.
The dog's family immediately put up flyers and canvassed the area surrounding their home, and they're continuing to pass out handbills at Runyon Cayon. Renner's dog is also listed on Craigslist, and the actor is checking shelters regularly. A robocall urging everyone to please be on the lookout for Hemi went out to 4,000 homes in the area.
Sadly, Renner suffered heartbreak over the loss of a dog in March 2012 when his then 8-month-old Frenchie, Franklin, died of a heart attack caused by overheating.
We certainly hope, however, that Hemi's story will have a happy ending. If you see the Frenchie, please call (310) 954-9126 ASAP or email sarah@ninjadogconcepts.com. To all those in the area, please be on the lookout.

Awful. :( I hope that he finds Hemi. My cat went missing for about a month once and I was heartbroken until he came home. With coyotes and needing medication and everything though I don't know. Sounds unlikely. :\
Kim G. Slams Teresa: "I Knew She Had Cookbooks But Didn’t Know She Was Cooking The Books!"
Teresa's indictment for a whopping 39 charges of financial fraud was no surprise to ex co-star Kim G., who exclusively told RadarOnline.com that she knew from the day she met Teresa that “she was a fraud.”
The star and her husband Juicy Joe appeared in a federal court on Tuesday morning to face the charges of tax evasion and fraud and were released on $500,000 bond each.
Kim G., who gained fame for her sparring with the ladies on the show in seasons two and three, was gloating over Teresa’s legal woes, and offered her up some advice.
“Make sure you stock up on toilet paper because in prison you only get one roll a week,” Kim warned Teresa. Kim scolded the Giudice’s for their crimes. “Teresa and Joe are getting what they deserve if you have 39 count against you obviously knew you were breaking the law.”
Kim G, who loves to flaunt her own wealth, slammed the reality show stars. “I guess their scamming days are over now Teresa has to lead a real life.”
Kim says that she has been waiting for this day to come for a long time for her Franklin Lakes neighbor.
“I knew from the day I met her that she was a fraud…living in that horrendous broken down house by the highway, near swamp land in high tension wires with a bad addition.”
Kim also laughed when talking about Teresa’s culinary empire. “I knew that she had cookbooks, but I didn’t know she was actually cooking the books! Look for Teresa’s new cookbook from cell block 8 called ‘Hidden Recipes.’”
Kim G said she plans to attend the trial if it happens. “I’m picking out my outfit for Teresa’s court date will be wearing my diamonds and Birkin bag as I drive my Bentley there that no one will ever take from me. Every dog has their day and today is Teresa woof…woof.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Joe and Teresa Giudice have been indicted on fraud and tax evasion charges. Does this feel like a classic case of keeping up with the Joneses? The hosts discuss.

Billboard executive forced to step in after P*rez spreads misinformation
. @PerezHilton@PutYourPawsDown ill be back on twitter in prob an hour to correct misinfo out there re Gaga album, what will count &!why.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) July 31, 2013
Hoping @perezhilton will spread some of my accurate info re Billboard/Gaga since his RT of irresponsible Tumblr made me set record straight.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
As i said, there's misinfo circulating about @ladygaga album #artpop, what @billboard will count & why. Let's nip it in bud. cc @PerezHilton
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) July 31, 2013
As we understand, Gaga fans get #artpop app for free & can buy the album in-app. Albums purchased this way would count on Billboard charts.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) July 31, 2013
Concerns about self-reported data by Gaga seem unfounded. I expect in-app sales to be fulfilled (& reported) by existing digital retailers.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) July 31, 2013
For those who may ask: this is obviously different from Jay-Z/#MCHG/Samsung which gave app for free but had no option for fans to buy.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) July 31, 2013
One downloaded song via the @ladygaga#artpop app will no more count as an album on our charts than it would if bought at iTunes.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
They do as a rule, digitally RT @RayOfGlory: @bwerde will preorders count on the 1st weeks sales?
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
Trust me. @JDasilva25: @bwerde Bill, I talked to someone at Billboard earlier today and he swears you aren't telling the truth.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
Yes RT @PeterTheMonster: @bwerde but in-app purchase of the WHOLE album will count, right?
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
A paid-for track counts on singles charts like #Hot100 RT @hausofesteban: @bwerde if I buy an ARTPOP single thru the app it wouldn't count?
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
@suxxxtain I don't think Gaga will have any trouble maintaining attention from the public.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
No RT @Chelsea1FanGirl: @bwerde will each individual song purchase b counted toward total album sales as LG's fans are stating? @PerezHilton
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
Yes. We count all major/credible retailers RT @DerrickGaga97: @bwerde If I buy songs from google play do they count for billboard?
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
@slave2damusic@billboard err the music isnt free in gaga's case.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
Positivity always :) RT @ILLUMINATIKING: @bwerde what are your thoughts re Perez. Do you like the guy? Can't stand the guy? We're all ears
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
. @DasHausOfJack don't extend positivity based on the character of those receiving it. Extend it bc it's the better way to live.

Bonus: commentary on KP vs Gaga
The @ladygaga v @katyperry storyline is fun for media. But in reality it's just the 4th quarter, when most huge albums drop.
— Bill Werde (@bwerde) August 1, 2013
If I had to guess, Gaga will outsell Perry for albums. Singles will depend on quality/radio friendliness. High hopes for both pop talents.

OITNB’s Lea DeLaria talks about hitting on Natasha Lyonne etc
Everyone is not only watching Orange Is the New Black, but totally obsessed.
I’ve had people tell me that they’re watching OITNB for the third time. It hasn’t even been out for three weeks. You know, I’ve been moderately famous for a very long time, and when I say a very long time, I mean 30 years. And I get stopped on the street and asked to have a picture taken with me — that happens to me every day now.It seems to be a 14-to-25 demographic; I have a whole new fan base. It took Netflix to get me the young straight girls I’ve always wanted. [Laughs.]
So, let’s talk about the screwdriver. Piper loses track of it. [SPOILER] Boo steals it, and we think she’s going to use it to kill Tricia, the new girlfriend of Boo’s ex. And aren’t we surprised what she does with it?
It’s brilliant. This girl [in real life] ran out of a hardware store, screaming, “Big Boo! Big Boo! Please sign my screwdriver,” and hands me a screwdriver and a Sharpee to sign her screwdriver. [Laughs.]
What did you make of New Yorker (and former New York) TV critic Emily Nussbaum referring to Big Boo as a “bulldyke” in her review of OITNB? I saw that you shrugged it off on Twitter.
Yeah, I tweeted that I am a bulldyke, I don’t just play one on TV. I got in this fight with this earnest fucking faggot about it, like, “I spent all this time reclaiming these words, about how they’re not bad words, and now you’re making them bad words again.” I’ve been doing stand-up for so long. There are no bad words. It’s the intent the individual uses when they’re saying the words. Didn’t Lenny Bruce do this, what, 50 years ago? We are still having this fight? Emily wasn’t calling me a bulldyke, she was calling the character a bulldyke. And that’s why I went into a tizzy again. She can call me a bulldyke personally. I don’t care. If Emily Nussbaum calls me a bulldyke, I laugh and say, “Thank you.” If Pat Robertson calls me a bulldyke, I rip his nuts off. It’s about the intent. I was so happy for the mention, because the cast is so huge, and I got mentioned in almost every review, and in a very positive way.
It is your dyke duty, you realize, to tell us about working with Jodie Foster [who directed episode three, “Lesbian Request Denied”].
I literally had one line, when I’m standing in line for pills. We did the first rehearsal, and Jodie came up and grabbed me by the shoulders and she goes, “You’re really very funny. You’re an incredibly funny actor. You move a lot” — my character is kind of nervous, that’s why she’s on meds — “I think that’s too much for this shot.” So I was like, I’ll tone it down. “And she’s like, 'We’re gonna keep the camera on you, and just throw out ten lines,' because the line was, 'Oh, I like the orange ones. Oh, wait a minute, they give me that terrible itch in my … ' That was the end of it. So I just chose the dot-dot-dot to be the vagina, and then every funny thing I could think of. I think take seven was “Kunta Kinte.” And Laverne [Cox, who plays Sophia] was behind me and she ruined the take because she burst out laughing when I said “Kunta Kinte.” And I was like, “Asshole, that would have been so brilliant!” And she was like, “Say it again!” and I was like, “No, no, no! I get ten takes. I’m gonna say something funny.” They ended up going with “cooter,” I believe.
You told The Advocate that the set was like one big dyke bar.
It’s the most fun set I’ve ever been on. We knew when we were doing OITNB that we were doing something special. You could feel it, it was different. I went, “This set is a dyke bar, all it needs is a pool table and D.J. spinning ‘We Are Family,’” which is what I told The Advocate, and they used that as the opening line. But when I said it, we were all sitting in what they call “video village,” and the first AD was a lesbian and one of the writers was a lesbian and boom-boom-boom. I have no idea whose business is what, but everybody was basically a lesbian. And then all these crew people. There was just a sense of family, and not just from that. And then the woman structure. We were making jokes about the Old Boy Network, so it’s tons of women making huge executive decisions and the men that are on the set are men who are comfortable being on a set like that, so they’re great. Because a lot of guys wouldn’t be comfortable being on a set like that, I can assure you. And we all feel tight. And we are all giddy as just can be. And loving it right now.
Are there a lot of lesbians in the cast?
Everybody’s out.[omg name names tho]
Natasha Lyonne, I ask with hope in my heart?
No, she has a boyfriend. I’ve had a crush on her since Slums of Beverly Hills. I told her that, too, because I’m such an asshole.
I read an interview where she asked why more women don’t hit on her.
Oh, that’s her being funny, trust me. Please, I hit on her every day. And she’s like, "Lea, remember my boyfriend." And I’m like, "Sorry, Tash." We’re just pals. I’m leaving off lesbians, I feel bad.
Does "everyone" include my bb Samira tho?????

Miley Cyrus: The Truth About Her Feelings For Ex Nick Jonas
Miley Cyrus was totally shocked when her normally shy ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, posted a sexy pic on Instagram. The 20-year-old wanted to show off how his fitness routine is coming along and it turns out it totally caught Miley’s attention.
Even though she’s engaged to Liam Hemsworth, it doesn’t mean she can’t look at a pic! The singer was reportedly just as surprised as all the fans when the youngest Jonas brother posted his “healthy living and fitness update” on Instagram.
“Miley is a really big fan of Nick’s photo that is making the rounds around the internet,” the source tells us. “She has joked with friends saying, ‘Where was this a few years ago!’ She thinks he looks super hot.”
But the question remains: does she still have feelings for Nick?
“Its good to have the memories,” the source added. “And these pictures … but it’s all about Liam.”
It’s always a question as to whether Miley and Liam are on or off. But it’s good that she only has her sights set on making things work with her soon-to-be hubby.
We told you that he posted the pic and immediately fans freaked out. In just a matter of hours he amassed over 187,000 likes

Parks and Rec showrunner releases statement about Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones leaving
Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe are leaving "Parks and Rec." BuzzFeed reports the two will exit the NBC comedy midway through its upcoming sixth season. According to BuzzFeed, their exit will take place during Episode 13, likely airing as part of February sweeps.
"Parks and Recreation" executive producer Mike Schur issued a statement confirming BuzzFeed's report.
"The news about Rob and Rashida is true -- they will be leaving the show after the 13th episode of the upcoming season six. We've been working on their storyline (on and off) for four seasons now, and heading into this year, with the two of them contemplating parenthood, it felt like a natural time to move them into the next phase.
"We absolutely love both Rashida and Rob, and will be sad to see them go. Rashida was one of the very first people we knew we wanted in the cast, and as important as Ann is to Leslie (and vice-versa), she'll certainly never be far from Pawnee. Rob we initially thought we could only have for six or eight episodes, and we couldn't be happier that he will have stuck around for 75.
"They are wonderful, funny, committed actors, they've been a huge part of the Parks and Rec family, and we think we have a great Pawnee send-off in the works for them," he said.
According to Deadline, NBC wants to keep Lowe around: The network is reportedly in the process of finalizing a development deal for a potential new series with the actor, who has portrayed Chris Traeger, currently Pawnee's City Manager, since the end of Season 2. Jones has played Ann Perkins, a nurse and Leslie Knope's (Amy Poehler) best friend since the series began. Last we saw them in the Season 5 finale of "Parks and Rec," the two characters trying to have a baby together.
This is the first major "Parks and Rec" cast shakeup since Paul Schneider, who played Mark Brendanawicz on the series, left in 2010.

Madonna's BFF of 30+ years says Sean Penn was Madonna's True Love
Actress Debi Mazar dropped by the clubhouse on "Watch What Happens: Live" and Andy Cohen couldn't wait to ask her a few questions about her BFF, Madonna. The two have been friends since before either one of them had any sort of fame.
Cohen did limit himself to 45 seconds, but anyone who knows how fast he talks knows that he can still pump a lot of questions at her in that span of time. Through his grilling of Mazar he learned that Madge smells like gardenias, loves salted fish and is a feisty Leo. Mazar also said that "Sean" was Madonna's true love -- but when asked to clarify if she was referring to Sean Penn, she said only, "Maybe."
“Did Madonna ever steal any of your boyfriends?” Cohen asked her. Mazar said yes, but then backed up. She said that Madonna had tried to steal her boyfriend, but it didn't happen. She also revealed a strange Madonna-Bravo connection. Apparently, Madonna used to get "spiritual baths" and "blessings" from self-professed witch, Mama Elsa of "The Real Housewives of Miami."
Mazar and Madonna met in an elevator back in the '80s before Madonna became a superstar.

10 Best Movie Orgasms
In honor of National Orgasm Day, July 31, The Daily Beast presents the best orgasm scenes in movies, from Meg Ryan’s diner shrieking to Jane Fonda’s ride in the Excessive Machine.
1. Meg Ryan, When Harry Met Sally
2. Kim Cattrall, Porky’s
Before she plowed through half of Manhattan on the acclaimed HBO series Sex and the City, Kim Cattrall portrayed Lynn “Lassie” Honeywell, a randy cheerleader, in the 1982 comedy Porky’s. And it wasn’t just a clever name. The “Lassie” was because she howled like a woman possessed during sex, and the “Honeywell,” well, that’s self-explanatory.
3. Kevin Kline, A Fish Called Wanda
Kevin Kline won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his hilarious turn as Otto, an Anglophobe crook, in this 1988 comedy. While searching through their mark’s apartment, Otto seduces his partner in crime, Wanda (Jamie Lee Curtis), by speaking Italian. And when he climaxes, he exhibits the most ridiculously funny orgasm face in movie history.
4. Jane Fonda, Barbarella
In Roger Vadim’s relentlessly cheesy and fun 1968 sci-fi film, Barbarella (Jane Fonda, peak hotness) is an agent assigned by the Earth’s president to embark on a dangerous mission to retriev Doctor Durand Durand from the Tau Ceti region. At one point, she is captured and placed in the Excessive Machine—a device designed by Durand that stimulates a woman until she dies of pleasure. But the Excessive Machine ain’t got nothing on Fonda.
5. Diane Keaton, Sleeper
Woody Allen’s 1973 sci-fi comedy centers on Miles Monroe (Allen), a jazz musician who is cryopreserved—against his will—and awakens 200 years later. He eventually finds work as a butler in the home of Luna (Diane Keaton). In Allen’s future, everyone is either sexually unawakened or impotent, and to climax, couples merely get inside the cylindrical Orgasmatron, which brings them to orgasm in a matter of seconds.

yes these deals are still happening
Our must-read, must-watch list just keeps getting bigger—really, it's becoming downright unwieldy! But nevertheless, we've gotta cram one more item on there: the exciting sci-fi novel "Elusion," which is such a hot prospect that it's already bound for Hollywood even though the book isn't out until March.
According to Deadline, the book by Claudia Gabel and Cheryl Klam has been picked up for a movie adaptation by Silver Reel and FlynnPictureCo.
Following in the footsteps of mind-bending thrillers like "Inception,""Strange Days" and "Total Recall,""Elusion" is a story that takes place in one of the weirdest, wildest, most potentially horrifying settings possible: inside the HUMAN BRAIN. In it, two teenagers discover that their favorite game—an alternate reality journey that uses hypnosis to transport players into another, inner universe—is anything but a harmless leisure activity. Ah yes: because it's all fun and games, until somebody loses their mind.
"Elusion" will be out in March 2014, with a sequel, "Etherworld," slated for 2015.

When Sexy Goes Wrong: *5 Unfortunate Album Covers
Some of pop music’s biggest names have dropped the ball in the pursuit of sexy. Here are 10 examples of great albums that are a little hard on the eye. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I totally understand if Barbra Streisand in hotpants floats your boat. It kind of works for me too.
Bette Midler — Thighs And Whispers
This is a really fun album. Unfortunately, Bette looks like she just escaped from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. But it was the disco era, so she gets a pass.
Brooke Hogan — The Redemption
What is this? A drawing or computer-generated animation? In any case, it's kind of terrifying.
Millie Jackson — Back To The Shit
I'm obsessed with Millie Jackson but she torpedoed an extremely successful career by posing on the john for this LP cover.
Khia — Thug Misses
This cover sums up the femcee's descent from Janet Jackson collaborator to the face of struggle.
Christina Aguilera — Lotus
This whole album is about rebirth and starting over. If only the designer embraced that mentality and tried again after coming up with this concept.

Yet Another Celeb On Kickstarter! Matt Dallas and Friends Asking for Your Hard Earned Coins!
As the heads of Astoria Entertainment, the trio -- best known for roles in Kyle XY, The Twilight Saga and White Chicks, respectively -- are following similar crowd-funded passion projects initiated by such filmmakers as Spike Lee and Zach Braff as well as Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas.
Their campaign, which launches today, aims to raise $750,000 for Thunder Road, an independent film following one soldier’s assimilation back into civilian life after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Called an “epic war drama” on its Kickstarter page, the film will follow a screenplay written by Grayhm, who will also star alongside Dallas and Bewley.
“There are 23 million veterans in the USA and over 5 million in the UK -- millions more in the remaining allied forced worldwide. That’s an audience who wants their story told,” Bewley said. Hours into their 42-day funding period, 49 backers pledged $6,400 toward the project.
The team also plans on a simultaneous nationwide campaign involving national and regional media to help draw attention to Thunder Road. In addition, they have partnered with Coinforce.com to offer customized coins as incentive for the first 1,000 who contribute.
Astoria’s Kickstarter campaign expires on September 12.

They Say Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery: *5 Cases Of Pop Stars Recycling Ideas
All our favorite pop stars are guilty of recycling ideas on the odd occasion. What follows is a non-judgmental account of 14 obvious and not-so-obvious cases of sticky fingers.
Lady Gaga Vs Brandy.
This could be drawing a long straw. Brandy fans were furious when Gaga borrow choreography (like raising her hands) from "Afrodisiac" for her "Judas" video.
Leona Lewis Vs Mariah Carey.
I think it's fair to say that Mimi was the inspiration for this photo shoot.
Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker Vs Beyonce.
Queen B borrowed the choreography (and costumes) from an obscure Belgian ballet for her "Countdown" video. And got caught!
Kelly Rowland Vs Livvi Franc.
The Destiny's Child diva's "Lay It On Me" video is a scene-by-scene remake of Livvi's "Now I'm That Bitch". Blame the director?
Taylor Swift Vs Lana Del Rey.
America's sweetheart tried to edge it up in her "I Knew You Were Trouble" video but got clocked by Lana Del Rey's fans for lifting elements from her "Ride" opus.

'Teenage Exorcists' Explain the Dangers of Sexually Transmitted Demons
Vice's new documentary Teenage Exorcists follows three teen girls from Arizona who tour the world saving souls from "sexually transmitted demons."
Many of the people who the girls are "saving" are often drug addicts or victims of some kind of sexual trauma. Basically, they've experienced some heavy shit that three sheltered evangelicals could never really understand. (Which is probably why they over-simplify people's very real emotional torment by referring to their problems as "demons.")
Still, an interview segment with them that appears in the film is very educational in the way of demons.
"Satan can't just go into anybody that he wants to. He has to have a legal right."
You can catch demons from having sex prostitutes.
You can catch demons from being sexually abused.
Teen exorcists stay away from things like Harry Potter, witchcraft, violence, Twilight (mostly because the
storyline is "not attractive at all"), really scary horror movies, and "sexual stuff."
The teen exorcists were "crushed" by the death of Margaret Thatcher. She was an inspiration.
