Four-time Formula 1 world champion showed his ass on Instagram by shaming his nephew for asking for/wearing a princess dress for Christmas. In the now deleted video he says: "I'm so sad right now, look at my nephew. Why are you wearing a princess dress? Is this what you got for Christmas? Why did you ask for a princess dress for Christmas? Boys don't wear princess dresses!

He has released a pathetic apology on his twitter since he got called out for the video. He writes:"Yesterday I was playing around with my nephew and realised that my words were inappropriate so I removed the post. I meant no harm and did not mean to offend anyone at all. I love that my nephew feels free to express himself as we all should. [surejan.gif] My deepest apologies for my behaviour as I realise it is really not acceptable for anyone, no matter where you are from, to marginalise or stereotype anyone. I have always been in support of anyone living their life exactly how they wish and I hope I can be forgiven for this lapse in judgement"

A follow up to this post wherein the former Countess, Luann de Lessaps was arrested early yesterday morning for public intoxication. She threatened to kill the police/firefighters that were there to detain her along with attempting to get physical with them.

Judy Garland's status as a gay icon is well-documented – her father and other significant people in her life were gay, for starters – but the rise of it is perhaps no better captured on screen than when she sung Somewhere Over the Rainbow in The Wizard of Oz. It's only fitting then, that five years later in 1944's Meet Me In St. Louis, Garland would sing the first-ever rendition of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", including the lyric, "Make the yueltide gay".

Yes, that's right: everything you've ever loved has belonged to the gays, including your safe Christmas music. But when it comes to Christmas musicals and music, how much have things visually changed? What can you compare to"Make the yueltide gay" with actual gay Christmas music and videos today? Does anything immediately pop into your head?

In part one of this series, I focused on film. In part two, I focused on television and shorter works. For part three, the standards are going to be a bit different:

1. With musical films, performances, and specials they have to don LGBTQ sensibility and/or have camp figures and icons in some way, if not be definitively gay.


2. With Christmas music videos, they have to be from an LGBTQ performer or creator.

Each category will have ten entries in no particular order of favorability. How did I fare this time, and how much have things changed? Is there anything worth watching?

Musicals/Christmas Specials:

Meet Me In St. Louis 1944 – Musical/Drama 1hr53m Christmas-themed| Set during Christmas

"Meet Me in St. Louis" is a classic MGM romantic musical comedy that focuses on four sisters (one of whom is the nonpareil Judy Garland) on the cusp of the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The film spotlights the sisters' education in the ways of the world, which includes, but isn't limited to, learning about life and love, courtesy of the prototypical boy next door. In the end, love -- accompanied by song, dance and period costumes, all in glorious Technicolor -- conquers all. When "Merry Little Christmas" premiered for the first time in this scene, which was created for this movie, and Judy Garland sung the lyric "Make the yueltide gay" knowing all the friends of Dorothy who were out there, she invented gay allyship. The special features appearances by Elton John, Kristen Bell, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and RuPaul along with a sneak peek of the 2014 film Muppets Most Wanted, which features a cameo by Lady Gaga. Anna and the Apocalypse 2017 Musical/Horror 1hr30m Christmas-themed| Set during Christmas Gay appeal:One of the main characters, Steph, is a lesbian.

When the zombie apocalypse hits the sleepy town of Little Haven, at Christmas, teenager Anna and her high school friends have to fight, sing and dance to survive, with the undead horde all around them. Where you can watch it: Nowhere because it's only been at festivals. Warnings: Tons of blood and gore ofc. There hasn't been a full-break down anywhere so I'm not 100% if Steph survives, but I think she does based on the reviews I've seen. Wait for spoilers after it's released digitally.

The Wiz 1978 Musical/Fantasy 2hr16m Christmas-themed| Set during around Christmas

When Harlem schoolteacher Dorothy (Diana Ross) tries to save her dog from a storm, she's miraculously whisked away to an urban fantasy land called Oz. After accidentally killing the Wicked Witch of the East upon her arrival, Dorothy is told about the Wiz (Richard Pryor), a wizard who can help her get back to Manhattan. As Dorothy goes in search of the Wiz, she's joined by the Scarecrow (Michael Jackson), the Tin Man (Nipsey Russell) and the Cowardly Lion (Ted Ross). This is technically set during Thanksgiving. To stand in solidarity with all of the actresses/women celebs who will reportedly be wearing black outfits at the Golden Globes (January 7th), a lot (if not all) of the actors/male celebs will dressed in black as well, according to new reports.

The decision was made weeks ago by actresses to show support for victims of sexual harassment in Hollywood, as well as the #MeToo social movement. The Rock confirmed he'll be wearing all black, and his stylist admitted all of her male clients will be wearing black as well:

Ilaria Urbinati (stylist of The Rock, Tom Hiddleston, Garrett Hedlund, and nominee Armie Hammer among others): “Because everyone keeps asking me… YES, the men WILL be standing in solidarity with women on this wearing-all-black movement to protest against gender inequality at this year’s Golden Globes. At least ALL MY GUYS will be. Safe to say this may not be the right time to choose to be the odd man out here… just sayin…”

The book is highly influenced by Henry Miller’s reckless and relentless search for truth in post-decadent Paris and Daisetz Teitaro Suzuki’s modal teachings on Zen Buddhism.

Cortázar's employment of interior monologue, punning, slang, and his use of different languages is reminiscent of Modernist writers like Joyce, although his main influences were Surrealism and the French New Novel, as well as the "riffing" aesthetic of jazz and New Wave Cinema.

- Despite the Disney-Fox merge, which will be finalized in a year approximately, Fox is rushing production of the "Gambit" movie to have it done and released before they are owned by Disney.
- Filming begins in March 2018, in Louisiana.
- Original budget was $155 million, might be less now.
- Will be directed by Gore Verbinski (previously attached directors were Rupert Wyatt and Doug Liman, both dropped because of "creative differences" and "difficulties connecting with the project).
- Starring and produce by Channing Tatum. The only person confirmed so far as part of the cast.
- Nothing is known about the plot, the time setting and what universe will this story take place at.
- Rumoured villains are Mr.Sinister and Donyell Taylor.
