Lady Gaga reportedly signed a $100M Las Vegas residency deal

Lady Gaga is reportedly going to Vegas for a 50 show residency, according to sources. While the deal has yet to be confirmed, VitalVegas says to expect an official announcement this week. It's rumored her residency at the soon-to-be opened Park Theater at Park MGM.

Bustle has reached out to reps for Lady Gaga and Park MGM for comment, but did not heard back.

If the reports are true, Gaga's 50 show deal will earn her a whopping $100 million. Gaga isn't the only big name in talks to head to the new venue. Sources also report that Park Theater will soon play host to the likes of Bruno Mars and Cher.

Lady Gaga is currently touring on her Joanne World Tour but that tour comes to an end on Feb 23, 2018. In addition to the tour, Lady Gaga is also starring in A Star Is Born, set to premiere in May 2018. Fans speculate that if rumors are true, she'd start and finish her Vegas residency around the release of the new movie.

The news of this has caused most of her fans to have meltdowns, with the majority thinking that a residency is too soon for the legend. On a plus, she'd probably give us on of the best residencies Vegas has ever seen.

Meet #WokeCharlotte, the meme clapping back at dated 'Sex and the City' moments

  • When it debuted in 1998, HBO's 'Sex and the City' was credited with jumpstarting the network and praised for its frank depictions of female sexuality and multi-dimensional, at many times difficult to root for female characters

  • Revisited today, many of the storylines and dialogue show their age - Bunny, Charlotte's (Kristin Davis) overbearing mother-in-law was racist, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) was classist, and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) was transphobic - not to mention the insiduous biphobia echoed by all of the women, or the time when...

  • Enter #WokeCharlotte, a new meme series pioneered by the popular "Every Outfit on 'Sex and the City'" Instagram account (@everyoutfitonsatc) that finds the classically naive Charlotte taking her friends and family to task for their problematic comments and ideas

All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy and featuring a special performance by Misty Copeland, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale. In theaters on Nov. 2, 2018.

NBC announced today that John Legend will be starring as Jesus in their production of Jesus Superstar Live!, currently set to air in April 2018. On the casting, chairmain of NBC Robert Greenblatt said: "We’re all overjoyed to have world-class musical artist and producer John Legend starring as Jesus. This score demands a singer with an amazing range and an actor with great depth, and there isn’t anyone better to bring this story to a new audience. His casting is also groundbreaking as the traditional image of Christ will be seen in a new way."

In addition to John Legend, NBC also recently announced that Alice Cooper will play King Herod, a role he was brought in to record for the 1996 London JCS recording.

JONGHYUN's 'She Is' re-enters the Top Albums chart on US iTunes following musician's untimely death

'She Is,' the 2016 solo album by SHINee founding member and South Korean pop idol Kim Jong-hyun (aka JONGHYUN), has re-entered the Top Albums chart on US iTunes following the singer-songwriter's tragic death by suicide at age 27. The album, which spawned the single "She Is" and originally peaked at #31 on the chart in May 2016, currently sits at #125 - above 2017 releases by Harry Styles (#128), St. Vincent (#156), and Lorde (#186).

Jong-hyun was declared dead at Konkuk University Hospital after being found unconscious by police at a Seoul apartment he had reserved several days prior. Authorities were able to track Jong-hyun's location after being made aware of a text message received by his sister, in which he wrote, "Please let me go. Tell me I did well. Final farewell." Police found brown coal briquettes lit inside a frying pan at the musician's residence, and believe he died from inhaling toxic fumes. Prior to his death, Jong-hyun was reported to be preparing his sophomore album.

Self-documented violent homophobe Eminem says he's on Grindr

$

Eminem gave a lengthy interview to journalist David Marchese in promotion of his new LP 'Revival,' on which he calls fans that deify him "retarded" and offers tips to fellow misogynists to avoid a rap for murdering women (Better wear at least three layers of clothing or be in jail / If you get scratched because your DNA'll / Be all up under her fingernails, from "Framed").

When asked about his romantic life, the rapper, who is twice divorced from Kimberly Anne Scott (the Kim he's fantasized about murdering for nearly two decades) claimed that dates were "not where [he's] at lately," but that he's had a few. Pressed to reveal how he meets other singles, the man behind such lyrics as All you lil' f*****s can suck it / No h***, but I'ma stick it to 'em like refrigerator magnets ("Roman's Revenge," 2010) gave a surprising response:

"Tinder. [Laughs] And Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs."

Marchese chose to hone in on the bit about strip clubs in his follow up question, so it's unclear as to whether the Grindr bit was sincere or yet another crack about homosexuality from one of hip hop's most well self-documented bigots. Either way, his remaining straight supporters can keep him.
