Kylie Bunbury To Star In "Get Christie Love" Tv Reboot

The 1970 blaxploitation film and series is getting a current day reboot with Kylie Bunbury (Pitch) in the role the fabulous Teresa Graves originated.

  • The lead character Christie Love is an elite black CIA operative who can transform into whatever person she needs to be to complete the mission

  • Courtney Kemp will be showrunner/exec producer and Vin Diesel will be co-producing with other production companies

  • Bunbury is fresh off cancelled "Pitch", previously cancelled show "Twisted" and a mini series "Tut" with Ben Kingsley; will star in ensemble comedy film "Game Night" next

    - ICYMI, Matt Damon (friend of groper Ben Affleck and alleged sexual harasser Casey Affleck), gave an interview wherein defends Al Franken because "a pat in the butt" isn't so bad as rape and nobody's perfect, doesn't think he should have resigned. Although he hasn't really looked into what Louis CK has been accused of, he says it was "gross and shameful" but "not criminal", read his apology and thought it was great, thinks that he won't be doing those things again and that Louis has been punished enough.Thinks that people are "ruining the lives" of sexual assaulters like Louis CK by not forgiving them and that it just encourages men not to admit to having sexually assaulted women.     Who went home on the second episode of Top Chef: Colorado?

    Quickfire challenge: This episode's challenge was the classic mise en place relay race. The cheftestants were split into two teams (Green and Blue), and they had to complete three tasks: peel and finely dice a qt. of shallots, peel and slice a qt. of mushrooms, and clean and portion 20 pieces of beef tenderloin. The teams could assign any number of chefs to each task, but each chef could only do one task. The winning team of the race would then complete against each other to win the quickfire. The winning chef won $5,000 and dinner for a year from the sponsor.

    Quickfire winner:


    The Blue Team won the relay and Joe here was the overall winner

    Elimination challenge: The teams from the quickfire stayed in place, and they had to create a four course meal that highlighted four chesses from a local farm.

    Green Team won (though it also had the worst dish of the day, Tu's), but the overall winner was...

    - On the Walking Dead: He has not kept up with the show, but says his role as Shane changed his life. "To play a character with a real beginning and end, on a show that popular, that was an unbelievable part. It wasn’t like I was inundated with offers after, but that was the experience that changed my life. I started getting into rooms, getting opportunities that were completely different to what I had done. It wasn’t even like my first gig. I’ll always be grateful to them for hiring me."

    - He is not upset about not having any leading roles in the film he's appeared in this year; says that what is important to him is working with the best people. This year, he has had bit parts in Baby Driver and Wind River.

    - His next film is the triller Shot Caller, starring alongside Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. A large part of the film was shot in a real-life maximum security prison, with real prisoners.

    - Says it's an honour to play Frank Castle because the character resonates a lot with people in law enforcement, the military and comic book fans.

    Ronan Farrow, whose bombshell expose of Harvey Weinstein in The New Yorker broke open the floodgates of famous men finally being held accountable for sexual harassment, was questioned by a paparazzo from TMZ about his father, Woody Allen, still getting a pass from Hollywood (despite the allegations by his daughter Dylan that he sexually assaulted her when she was seven years old):

    I think that there are a lot of areas where we could have more accountability and it hasn't happened yet. Listen, I always say: listen to the actual survivors, people with allegations. My sister actually just came forward and wrote an Op-Ed in the L.A. Times about that, so I'd point you to that.
