Most celebrities have shown their disdain for Trump's presidency the past year, one star has yet to h4monize her thoughts, Taylor Swift. The Guardian makes the case why she is an envoy for Trump's values.

Reports say that Ewan told his wife, Eve Mavrakis, that there was no infidelity invovled when he fell for Mary Elizabeth Winstead. However, Eve doesn't believe him.

A few weeks ago, CBC reporter Justin McElroy started an informal bracket tournament on his blog to determine what was Canada's most memorable tv show. He started with 64 shows that went through these sets of qualifications:

- Ended its original run by 2012
- Couldn't have been specific to one province
- Primarily made in Canada
- Primarily Canadian audience
- Primarily Canadian creators/cast

There were four brackets for Comedy, Drama, Children's and Miscellaneous.

The tournament started to gain attention on twitter and some people went to weird lengths to try and get their show to the next round like creating bots. FB pages of these old shows would spur their fans on, actors from some of the nominated shows would like tweets to boost visibility, and people making YouTube videos or podcast pleas to soapbox for their show of choice.

In the end, it came down to Kids in the Hall vs Mr. Dressup, and the declared winner was a show about a man from Lewiston, Maine (who later became a Canadian citizen) who played dressup with items from his "tickle trunk" and talked to an androgynous puppet and mute dog.

The Daily Telegraph published a photograph today of Prince Harry's fiancee, actress Meghan Markle, posing with the former co-host of VH1's Gossip Table, Delaina Dixon, and captioned it "Meghan Markle and her mother".

Markle's mother is in fact a social worker named Doria Ragland.

At left, below, is Markle with Delaina. At right is a photo of Markle with her actual mother, Doria:



After readers pointed out their error, The Telegraph replaced the photo on their website with one of Meghan and Doria.

To recap: Anne Helene Petersen of Buzzfeed wrote an article about how Hollywood had been trying to make Armie Hammer happen for 10 years and he kept flopping.

Armie Hammer caught wind of the article, got pissed at the writer and then flounced from twitter. Since then a number of his white male friends have stepped up to cry that despite being a general film flop and a rich white male whose coasted all his life, the article is too mean. The latest person to "defend" him is Canadian writer/director/actor Xavier Dolan.

Armie Hammer is a good actor, and this has been clear to anyone who has the slightest comprehension of what acting is. On this matter, one would do well to trust David Fincher’s and Luca Guadagnino’s instincts rather than yours.

John Mayer says he watched parts of ex-girlfriend Katy Perry’s 96 hour live stream sharing what was weird about it, added that he texted Katy Perry 'happy birthday'.

During Monday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live Andy Cohen asked Mayer if he saw Katy Perry’s 96 hour live stream - "That’s her thing, man. To go big and bold, yeah I checked in with it. It's odd to watch your ex-girlfriend asleep", he said.

"It would have been almost weirder if you didn't check in, you were together for years", Cohen said. "If someone says I don't watch that, it's like, yes you do", John continued and added "I texted Katy happy birthday, it was 4 in the morning."
