Forbes has compiled their list of the highest earning women in music from the period of June 2016 to June 2017. The calculations were made from pretax income during that period and does not factor out in the fees that are taken out to pay agents, managers, lawyers and anyone else that might be on their payroll.

Who was the highest earner? It was Beyonce with $105 million USD due to the Formation tour.
Where does Grammy album of the year winner Adele rank? She's at number 2 at $69 million USD.
Where does that put Taylor Swift? She ranks at 3 with $44 million USD. Next year, she will probably be higher due to raking in more money from reputation and the subsequent tour for it.
Those that have residency shows in Las Vegas round out the top 5 earners within the past year Celine Dion and J.Lo.
Honorable mentions to Dolly Parton and Barbra Streisand who also make the top 10 list due to their tours.

To add to the already messy planning of the VS Fashion show 2017, the scheduled after party once the show was done was promptly shut down by chinese police after a little more than an hour and a half and right when DJ Aime took the stage.

"They want us to finish. We are sorry, we tried." a woman who was working the crowd control said.

Party started at 9:30 and was shut down at 11:50.

In case you missed last night's ep of Supergirl, it was Saturn Girl's debut. She's played by Amy Jackson, a white British actress who made a career out of playing Indian women in South Indian movies in full brownface (dark contact lenses, dyed hair, darkened skin). When she first arrived in India, she could speak only English and couldn't dance, but local actresses were still passed over in her favour and she has since established a successful career and worked with huge stars such as Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth.

When asked about if she cared about the criticism she got for doing brownface, she once replied:

"It’s terrible when people try to discriminate others because of being part of another country. I understand that some people say foreign girls should not be playing a part of an Indian girl, but then look at the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio who played a South African character in a film. It’s just an issue that a minority of the audience has. It is not something the mass population has a problem with."

- She considers the lack of women on set is a big issue since it isolates women and prevents them from sharing stories and mentorship.

Over the past few weeks or so, rumors have been going around about Jeffree Star no longer being friends with MannyMUA and Laura Lee, his supposed "best friends" in the world.

Summary:
-Jeffree's boyfriend unfollowed Manny and Laura on social media and they unfollowed him back.

-Neither Laura nor Manny said happy birthday to Jeffree on his birthday, but Manny went out of his way to wish a happy birthday to a random person. Jeffree later confirmed on Twitter that Manny hadn't called him and told a fan to stop defending someone (Manny) who "doesn't give a shit about you."

-The ~rumor mill~ says that the reason behind the breakup is Jeffree choosing not to financially back Laura and Manny's future makeup lines. Laura's recent eyeshadow palette (which was supposedly shipped and manufactured by Jeffree's facility) apparently underperformed. After seeing that, Jeffree decided to not back her future releases or Manny's makeup line. The two got salty and decided to cut ties.

-Manny and Jeffree have both been liking shady tweets about the situation.

-Jeffree collaborated with Manny this year on products for his own brand. Manny supposedly stole his logo for the collab from Blackmoon Cosmetics, which resulted in Jeffree's company getting sued and him having to pay the settlement.

-Jeffree's bought both Manny and Laura and shit ton of stuff over the years and taken them on a bunch of vacations.
