Eight women say Charlie Rose sexually harassed them — with nudity, groping and lewd calls

-One time, Reah Bravo said, Charlie “grabbed me by my hair, holding a fist of it at the base of my scalp.” More than once, “he would grip my head tightly while talking to me. He held it so tightly that I couldn’t turn my neck in any direction. I was forced to look at him or to let him talk directly into my ear.”

-Looking back, she is struck by how calculated Rose’s approach seemed.
“He most definitely said, on numerous occasions, ‘I’ve never forced you to do something you didn’t want to do,’ ” she said. “He would say this forcefully and wait for my confirmation after he said this. I remember once wondering if I was being recorded.”


Another woman gave multiple interviews about her experience with Rose but requested anonymity out of concern for her privacy.

She went to Charlie Rose for a job interview, afterwards he invited her to his house, as Rose suggested they see how they traveled together by having her visit his Bellport house, she said.

She gave the following account:

That evening, after stopping for dinner and getting lost, they arrived at the house after midnight. She did not see anyone else there. Rose proposed she choose a DVD of his show that they could watch together. After the show, Rose gave her a tour of the property. The guesthouse, she noticed, was packed with clutter, uninhabitable.

At the pool, Rose dangled his legs in the water and then said that he needed to change because his pant legs were wet. He returned wearing a white bathrobe, which was open; he wore nothing underneath.

“I thought, I’m doomed,” she said. “I was completely panicked. In retrospect, I thought of a million things I could have done.”

She said she was not intoxicated — Rose had drunk his wine and then hers at the restaurant — but said he appeared to be. It was nearly 2 a.m. and she was exhausted, she said. She also said she felt alone and powerless. It was the middle of the night, they were on his secluded property, and she did not know how to drive.

“I started talking in this feeble and compulsive way,” she said. “I started talking about power, how the abuse of power can be. He completely lost it. ‘What are you talking about? That’s certainly not the case.’ ”

She said he then tried to put a hand down her pants.

“By the time he touched me the first time, he was already very angry,” she said. “I was scared, and I was also kind of frozen.”

After that, her memory is “hazy,” she said. They ended up in his bedroom.

“I really, honestly, I’ve tried so hard, especially recently, since I’ve been thinking about this, to try to remember what happened between sitting by the pool and being in his bed,” she said. “I have no recollection of how we went from here to there. I do remember I was crying the entire time.”

He reached down her pants again, she said, and she pushed his hands away. As she wept, she said, Rose asked her, “Baby, oh baby, why are you crying?”

The encounter ended when he appeared to be asleep and she felt she could leave the room, she said.

The next day, she said there was little mention of what had happened. She described the previous night to him “as a bit of a disaster” and he said, “What do you mean?”

A few days later, she followed up about the job.

In retrospect, she said, “Remaining silent allowed me to continue denying what had occurred. It was in that state of denial that I wrote to him asking about the job.”

He replied with his regrets.

“The whole thing was really the most humiliating and most degrading experience I’ve ever had,” the woman says now. A friend she confided in at the time described her as having been “distraught” in recounting what happened.

-Reah Bravo, speaking on the record called Charlie Rose a sexual predator, saying; “It has taken 10 years and a fierce moment of cultural reckoning for me to understand these moments for what they were. He was a sexual predator, and I was his victim.”

Kelly Rowland gets Niall Horan’s name wrong

The "Commander" songstress, Kelly Rowland, mispronounced Niall Horan‘s name while introducing him at the American Music Awards last night. Not only did Horan perform his hit "On the Loose""Slow Hands," but he also won the Best New Artist Award at the ceremony in Los Angeles Sunday night. Introducing him, Kelly goes: “And here he is with his hit song ‘Slow Hands’, it’s Neil Horan!” Rowland later that evening took to Twitter to correct herself: "Ladies and gentlemen, Niall Horan. I love the song. You heard me sing it." Shortly afterwards Niall responds to Kelly's tweet. Check the cut below to read his reply and more.

New Barbra Streisand Interview on Touring, Netflix, and Current Sexual Assault Scandals

-Barbra Streisand is currently doing press to promote her new Netflix special which starts streaming on November 22, 2017.

-She says that she has no plans to ever tour again, "No I would never do another show. It’s exhausting."

-When asked about what she watches on Netflix, she responded, "I love things like The Crown. I love that. And the fact is my husband (James Brolin) and I are kind of binge watchers. I remember when we first got Homeland or something, somehow I got a hold of like eight of the shows — my God, we just watched those till the morning. It’s hard to wait for a week. So we love it."

-On the many sexual assault allegations that have come out this year she responded, "I mean, right before I took your call I’m watching MSNBC and a woman is talking about another assault victim of Roy Moore . . . Women were frightened. What do you say? What do you say to a man that’s touching you inappropriately? Or (the women are) afraid to lose their jobs or whatever. It’s a conundrum, you know. And now they have the support of other women so they’re speaking out."

Lady Gaga stages her own red carpet, performs and wins at 2017 American Music Awards

Lady Gaga couldn't physically be at the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday night, but that didn't stop the queen of theatrics from setting up her own mini red carpet backstage at her show in Washington, D.C. Gaga posed for a series of pictures serving 1995 Elizabeth Berkley in a dress designed by Azzedine Alaia who passed away this weekend.















Shortly after her performance, Gaga won the award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist and got dramatic emotional during her acceptance speech. "I have the best fans in the whole world," she told the crowd. "I am so lucky. You just remember, if you feel different, if you feel not understood, don’t you are give up on who you are. You fight like hell for what you believe in!"

G-Eazy Collaborates with his Girlfriend Halsey on "He & I" for new album

• Worked with his girlfriend Halsey on the "Bonnie and Clyde" love song, "Him & I." The new song is off his forthcoming album "The Beautiful & Damned," due out December 15th.

• G-Eazy on the song and Halsey: "We made the record and it came from a really genuine, authentic place, and I think when music comes from a place like that, is when music is at its best. That's a Bonnie and Clyde song, that's a star-crossed lovers song, that's a crazy in love, like, we would kill for each other, we would die for each other kind of thing."

The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend cast shares stories about the show's songs & their auditions

Auditions:
- Vincent Rodriguez III (Josh) sang Thugz Mansion by Tupac Shakur
- Pete Gardner (Darryl) sang I Love My Baby (My Baby Loves Me) and Brahms’s Lullaby in German
- Scott Michael Foster (Nathaniel) sang Fly Me to the Moon
- David Hull (White Joss) initially didn't get a callback, they didn't think he was a good fit for Greg but thought he looked like a white Josh, so they wrote a part for him

Songs from the show:
- Let’s Generalize About Men had a weird timing because it was right after the Weinstein scandal and the song is about gross generalizations, which are dangerous. However with all the news Rachel thought maybe it was okay to generalize because most men are terrible anyways

- Getting bi was written by Adam Schlesinger, the show’s executive music producer, after Rachel met with GLAAD and emailed him with 8 misconceptions about bisexual people based on research. Pete, who plays Darryl, says he loves when people come up to him referencing the song

Unfortunately, he won't be victimizing Jughead with a hook or bees. He's playing someone named Farmer McGinty who has something to do with Penny Peabody who has finally called in her favor with Jughead. Which probably is for the best since everyone else in Riverdale has to try not to ~sin for 48 hours or else the Flop Hood (who may or may not be Sheriff Incompetent) will kill someone.

Elsewhere, Josie finally gets a plotline when some crazy takes things too far, and Chuck's also back.

LaVar, who spent most of early 2017 before his oldest son Lonzo was drafted going on various TV shows and yelling about how he could easily beat Michael Jordan 1-on-1 and how Lonzo is much better at basketball than Steph Curry, went on CNN tonight. It was about as contentious as the usual LaVar Ball interview:




Luke Walton, the Lakers coach, doesn't seem pleased with LaVar's antics.

Forbes has compiled their list of the highest earning women in music from the period of June 2016 to June 2017. The calculations were made from pretax income during that period and does not factor out in the fees that are taken out to pay agents, managers, lawyers and anyone else that might be on their payroll.

Who was the highest earner? It was Beyonce with $105 million USD due to the Formation tour.
Where does Grammy album of the year winner Adele rank? She's at number 2 at $69 million USD.
Where does that put Taylor Swift? She ranks at 3 with $44 million USD. Next year, she will probably be higher due to raking in more money from reputation and the subsequent tour for it.
Those that have residency shows in Las Vegas round out the top 5 earners within the past year Celine Dion and J.Lo.
Honorable mentions to Dolly Parton and Barbra Streisand who also make the top 10 list due to their tours.

Esther Wojcicki, mother of entrepreneur Anne Wojcicki, spoke with The New York Times for a profile on her daughter and basically said baseball player Alex Rodriguez was too dumb to be her daughter's partner. Rodriguez and Wojcicki dated for a little under a year and broke up in February. He is now dating Jennifer Lopez.

"I liked A-Rod, he was a very nice man. He came from a Hispanic family. We liked them, they were very sweet. He seemed to be genuinely in love with Anne. But I right away figured out this was a mismatch. He had no academic background. We couldn’t have an intellectual conversation about anything. His main interest in life was something that none of us had ever focused on, which was baseball. He could park himself in front of a TV and watch baseball for 10 hours a day. He wasn’t even sure he wanted to go on the yacht with Anne because the TV might not be working. I wish J-Lo all the luck in the world.

“We couldn’t go anywhere with him. If we went to Target to look for clothes for the kids, all of a sudden we’d be looking around and people would be saying, ‘We just want a selfie with A-Rod.’ He can’t walk across Central Park. He has to take a cab. That will work better with J-Lo because she’s like, ‘Take a picture of me anytime.’”
