Latest Pokemon film features........an English-speaking Pikachu, and people are not happy

  • The latest Pokemon film, Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You! is a retelling of the first few Pokemon episodes, following Pokemon Trainer Ash Ketchum as he starts his quest with his very first Pokemon, Pikachu.

  • The film takes several liberties, such as omitting Brock and Misty entirely.

  • In a scene towards the end of the film, Ash has a vision after saving Pikachu. He wakes up on the ground and asks Pikachu why it does not want to go inside its Poke Ball. Pikachu then responds using full English sentences.


  • Pikachu has never spoken anything but its own name, since its debut in the mid 1990's. While other Pokemon such as Meowth and Mewtwo speak full English, its baffled audiences around the world as to why and how Pikachu is speaking. because thats the big issue here

Today the panel interviews Mary J Blige! Whoopi needs to clarify before the interview starts that Mary will continue doing music which Mary states music is her own therapy so there's no way she would give it up. Sunny asks what Mary thinks now when she listens to her debut album 'What's the 411'. They show a clip from the SNL parody where Tiffany Haddish is portraying Mary and Mary loved it. She talks about where she first met her at a cookout when she was filming 'Mudbound' and Tiffany was doing 'Girls Trip'. They discuss how her movie 'Mudbound' which is set in the rural American South during World War II is still relevant to today's climate.

Demi Lovato Appears In Sirah & Skrillex's New Video "Dead Beat"

Demi Lovato, who is best friends with rapper Sirah, made an appearance in the new music video for her latest Skrillex collab, "Dead Beat." The title may make it sound like a diss track, but it's actually a tribute to Sirah's late father who died of a heroin overdose when she was 12-years-old.



Sirah wrote "Dead Beat" after returning from a trip to Kenya with Demi and other friends, and it made her realize she wanted to be more open and honest in her music. She even references Demi and the trip in the song.

Barbie Just Released Its First Doll Wearing a Hijab to Honor American Olympian Ibtihaj Muhammad

- Barbie released a new line called Shero - female heroes who inspire girl by breaking boundaries and expanding possibilities for women everywhere. This line also includes women like Ava DuVernay and Gabby Douglas. The doll was unveiled at Glamour's Woman of the Year Summit on Nov. 13.

- Is the first Barbie doll to wear a Hijab.

- In 2016 Ibtihaj Muhammad became the first American athlete in history to compete in hijab at the Olympics.

- "Through playing with Barbie, I was able to imagine and dream about who I could become," Muhammad said in the press release.

She also says: "I love that my relationship with Barbie has come full circle, and now I have my own doll wearing a hijab that the next generation of girls can use to play out their own dreams."

- It is also rumored that Taylor Swift will also be performing.
- He'll be on the runway alongside three of his ex-flings, Nadine Leopold, Sara Sampaio, and Georgia Fowler, while his current girlfriend and former VS model, Camille Rowe, was not cast in the show this year.
- Will likely perform Kiwi and Only Angel during the Balmain x VS punk rock section.

Taylor's SNL Episode Tanks in Ratings, Marks Worst Ratings This Season

Call It What You Want, but Taylor's fans were clearly not ...Ready For It, as her SNL episode drew the worst ratings of the season.

The "Don't Blame Me""singer" screeched a few songs off of her latest artistic effort on SNL last Saturday, with Tiffany Haddish hosting the program. The show drew a 4.3 rating, down from last week's episode with Larry David.

Justice League version of Amazons causes backlash

-The behind the scenes image of some Amazons in Justice League has caused some outrage on twitter.

-Fans are not happy that the Amazons depicted in the Justice League appear to be showing to much skin for being warriors compared to the Amazons in Wonder Woman who have a more armored look.

-Fans equate this to JL being directed by a male along with the costume designer being male compared to their female counterparts on Wonder Woman.

-Official stills from Justice League seem to depict armored Amazons during the "present" day.

THE SUGARMAN — Mayor McCoy cracks the fuck down on Southside High (apparently to "police state" levels according to Jughead) either because of whatever happens to Nick St. Clair or after hearing about the jingle jangle hotel party her daughter was involved in.

This leads to even worse tensions in town so newly-appointed Serpent!Jughead and Archie obviously have to borrow Reggie's car and compete in a drag race with the Ghoulies so as to prevent them from allying with the Serpents.

Betty enlists Veronica's help to crack the mystery of the Sugarman who seems to be some drug related boogeyman from Cheryl and Jason Blossom's past.

After what happened with Nick, Cheryl comes to some sort of realization and confronts her shady/crazy mom.

Directed by Maggie Kiley and written by Tessa Leigh Williams & Arabella Anderson


I just wanted to note that Reggie's mom is in this picture!

Also, both Valerie and Melody somehow got to skip this meeting even though both of them were at the jingle jangle hotel party and were the other heroes for helping to beat the shit out of Nick St. Clair.
