Stranger Things is getting a waffle based card game

Netflix, Hasbro and (presumably) Kelloggs are teaming up to make a Stranger Things Eggo-themed card game. The official summary reads:

Play as your favourite characters from the hit NETFLIX Series STRANGER THINGS with the STRANGER THINGS: EGGO CARD GAME! To begin, players choose to play as Will, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Eleven, Hopper, or Barb and draw four EGGO cards with a variety of suspenseful outcomes. Cards can either send a player's character to the UPSIDE DOWN, make an opponent draw 2, reverse the order of play, summon the DEMOGORGON, or cause a rift that sends everyone who was RIGHT SIDE Up to the UPSIDE DOWN, and vice versa! To win and escape the UPSIDE DOWN, get rid of all your EGGO cards before the DEMOGORGON attacks or be toast! Game includes 106 EGGO-shaped game cards and 7 character cards.

'Broad City', 'The Good Place' and 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' writer, Jen Statsky, supported make-up artist Annamarie Tendler's account of a Golden Globes party in 2014 in which Ben Affleck allegedly groped her. According to Statsky, Tendler wasn't the only woman who allegedly had the same unpleasant experience at the same event.

  • “I was on location during a movie, and he called me right after he had gotten a divorce [from Marla Maples in 1992] . . . and said, ‘I really think we should date, because you’re America’s sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man, and the people would love it.’”

  • Julianne Moore appeared on MSNBC on Wednesday to discuss gun control and gun safety. She has taken an initiative to raise awareness of the dangers of guns.

  • Asked about Harvey Weinstein, Moore stated "The more people talk, the more that people come forward. It is really important."

  • "I have never had a personal experience like this" Moore remarked. "This to me is completely egregious and shocking."

  • Moore says that she thinks all the women have each other's backs. She also talked about what it is like to be a 19/20 year old in Hollywood.

"Roswell" reboot in works at CW

CW is developing a rebbot of the cult series "Rosewell" from writer Carina MacKenzie (The Originals).

Here's the logline: After reluctantly returning to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer: he’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance.

Ben Schwartz & Billy Crystal to star in 'We are Unsatisfied'

Ben Schwartz (of Solo Bolo, BB8 and House of Pies fame) will costar with Billy Crystal in the upcoming film 'We are Unsatisfied', directed by Matt Ratner (not sure of his relation, if any, to Brett).

The plot: a struggling stand-up moves home to Staten Island and befriends his alcoholic dermatologist.

Production starts in New York next month.

Batman writer Chuck Dixon is apparently going to be doing a comic with alt-righter Vox Day

Vox Day (the guy behind the "Rabid Puppies" campaign) has been crowdfunding for an alt-right comic book called Alt★Hero. Characters include "a Confederate flag clad heroine named Rebel and Michael Martel, a vigilante who drops off criminal undocumented immigrants at the local Immigration and Customs Enforcement office."

He will apparently be joined by famous Batman writer Chuck Dixon (still working at DC with a series about Bane), who is known for his right-wing politics.

Vox has quoted Dixon as saying "These guys get me and I get them. Escapist entertainment, big outrageous ideas and all built on a foundation of principles that rejects the gloomy, preachy, bitterness of post-modern comics."

Harvey Weinstein Roundup: The Company Knew About Payoffs + More Victims and Reactions

  • Despite claiming on Tuesday that they had no idea about Harvey Winstein's settlements over sexual harassment allegations, The Weinstein Company board had been informed about "three or four" of them in 2015 by lawyer David Boies who representend Harvey that year when the producer's contract was up for renewal (according to Boies himself).

  • Lance Maerov, the board member who was in charge of Weinstein’s contract negotiations at the time, also claims to have thought they were all settlements from consesual relationships (surejan.gif) and granted Harvey his contract renewal.










  • In the early 2000's harvey called Heather Graham into his office and let her choose which script she liked best out of a pile of them, saying he wanted her in one of his movies. Harvey then stated that he had a deal with his wife: he could sleep with whoever he wanted when he was out of town. Heather left the meeting feeling uneasy.

  • She then asked for a follow up meeting, asking an actress friend to come with her this time.

  • When she was on her way the friend couldn't come anymore so she tried to cancel the meeting. Harvey then lied saying that her actress friend was already at his hotel and that they would both be disappointed if Graham didn't showed up. She apologetically reiterated that she couldn't get to the meeting. Heather was never in any of his movies.









  • Sarah Ann Masse is an actress, comedian, and writer that in 2008 worked as a nanny to help support herself in New York. Her agency send her a job opportunity to babysit Harvey's three children (from his first marriage).

  • She was pre-interviewed by female assistants and after a month was told that Harvey Weinstein wanted to meet her in his Connecticut house. When she got there he opened the door in his boxers and undershirt. Sarah thought that maybe he had forgotten the interview was that day.

  • During the standard interview, two of his children showed up at the living room and Weinstein yelled at them and told them to not show up again until Sarah was gone. She found that really weird because usually the parents wanted her to meet the children to see how she would handle them.

  • He then asked her about she being actor and if she would flirt with his friends to get ahead. She said that absolutely not and she would never be comfortable with that. When the interview ended he grabbed her for a way-too-long hug while still in his boxers and told her that she loved her. Some days later she received a call saying that Harvey wouldn't hire her because she was an actor.

  • Before Harvey's actions became public, Sarah Ann Masse also talked about being sexually abused by an actor and being afraid to speak out and reveal his name because people never believe women.









  • Claire Forlani was approached by Ronan Farrow for the Harvey Weinstein article, but thanks to the advice of male colleagues she didn't tell her story.

  • She escaped Harvey 5 times. He had the same behavior of offering massages, talking about actresses he had slept with, and other things that other victims already talked about. In one dinner he even said that his pilot was in stand-by because he could never get her to sleep with him.

  • Claire thought she was a pro at handling men like Harvey cus she has come across them since she was 14 and mentions Thandie Newton's speaking out about a disgusting director and feeling in awe of Thandie's bravery and thinking that she would probably be punished for that so she's moved about all these women coming foward and hopes the ugly people from the industry to get off the stage.









  • Charlize didn't have a simiolar experience with Harvey, but she isn't at all surprised, especially since these kind of cases are so common in all fields.

  • Admires the women who are coming foward and thinks it's important for everyone to speak up so these women know they have people who believe and support them.






    • “The predator wants your silence. It feeds their power, entitlement AND they want it to feed your shame. Our bodies are not the ‘spoils of war’… a trophy to be collected to fuel your ego,” she went on. “It’s OURS!!! It doesn’t belong to you!! And when you take it without permission, it DESTROYS…… like a virus!!! To the predators.. Weinstein, the stranger, the relative, the boyfriend…. I say to you, ‘You can choose your sin but you don’t get to choose the consequences.’ To the victims…. I see you. I believe you… and I’m listening,”

    Hollywood's worst kept secret finally received the attention it deserved this week thanks to the amazing and brave women who came forward with their stories. Harvey Weinstein was properly exposed for the vile piece of shit he truly is. While Hollywood wants to act shocked, there are many more men like Weinstein in the industry whether they are producers or actors. In light of the stories and accusations, I have decided to take a look at all the men in Hollywood who have been accused of abuse or harassment.



    Sean Penn

    Back in the 1980's when Penn was married to Madonna, he allegedly hit her across the head with a baseball bat. While Madonna refused to press charges against her husband as he was already facing jail time for a separate assualt charge, Penn also once tried to bind her hands with an electric lamp and cord. He chased her around and bound her to a chair. Penn proceeded to rough her up and then left her to go buy some booze. He then came back and terrorized her some more. Penn promised to untie her if she performed a sexual act on him. Eventually, Madonna was able to flee and went straight to the sheriffs office. Since then, Penn has still found steady work in Hollywood. He's gone on to be nominated for several Oscars and Golden Globes. Madonna refuted the allegations in 2015 in a sworn affidavit.

    Johnny Depp

    Last year in May, news broke that Amber Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp. No one was really shocked by the announcement but we were sure as hell shocked about the news that followed. Heard had accused Depp of domestic abuse and provided the receipts to back up her claims. Depp had displayed abusive behavior towards Heard throughout their relationship, even breaking his hand by punching a wall after an argument between the two. A mutual friend of the couple called 911 at the request of Heard. A conversation between the couple led to Depp striking Heard with his phone. Depp pulled her hair and hit her. Depp's team was aware of his abusive behavior as shown in screenshots of a text message convo between Heard and Depp.

    Michael Fassbender

    In 2010, Leasi Andrews filed charges of domestic abuse against Fassbender. Andrews claimed that Fassbender dragged her alonside the car and threw her in a "drunken fury". Fassbender hurt her ankle and caused her to burst an ovarian cyst. Andrews dropped the charges as it was reported that she didnt want to hurt his blossoming career and she feared that he wouldnt have been able to gain entry into the US as a result of the charges. The couple were seen together after the Golden Globes as she was also seen leaving his hotel. It is not uncommon for women to go back to their abusers.

    Kirk Douglas

    You want proof that men never seem to suffer? This fucker is 100 years old and still won't die. Dubbed a "legend" and "spartacus", Kirk is one of the last ~beloved~ stars remaining from Old Hollywood. There have been rumors for years that Kirk raped Natalie Wood (at 16), abused women, and pressured them into getting abortions. He allegedly raped the teenager during an audition. Wood's mother kept her from reporting the rape and she was also scared of the blowback she would receive of accusing the esteemed actor with rape. Wood's sister allegedly said she would out the rapist in a letter after she died.


    Ryan O'Neal

    Ryan O'Neal is probably one of the worst fathers ever. He allegedly gave his son cocaine at the age of 11 and also abused his children. Thats not even the worst of it. In 2014, Angelica Huston claimed in her memoir that Ryan viciously attacked and beat her in the 70's. The actress alleges that Ryan grabbed her by the hair and hit he ran the forehead with the top of his skull. She ran away to the bathroom and was followed by his brother and security. Ryan returned and began repeatedly hitting her with an open hand.
