YouTuber Jake Paul Sued For Prank That Left a Man with Damaged Hearing

Professional nobody and YouTube trash, Jake Paul, continues his reign of terror - this time leaving an unsuspecting pedestrian with hearing damage after a prank. In the video, Paul blasts a real load car horn and captures reactions of people on the street.

According to the suit, "Paul and crew rolled up on the guy as he was leaving a store in WeHo and the obnoxiously loud horn ended up damaging his hearing. He says his encounter with Jake’s crew is included in a video posted on Paul’s YouTube channel.”

Jake Paul and his company are being sued by the plaintiff for damages for the injury and emotional distress.

"Insecure" actress Amanda Seales sparks fierce debate about classism after tweet about passports

Amanda Seales, who plays Tiffany on HBO's Insecure, decided to post a few tweets yesterday telling black people that if they're spending money on Jordans instead of getting a passport, they're "losing." She was then called out by a shit ton of people for being classist, telling black people how to do poverty "properly," and for apparently not realizing that there's no point in getting a passport if you can't afford to travel.

Amanda spent the day doubling down and later released a statement: “I make it very clear in my following tweets that the point was to say that if you can afford a surplus of material things and value them more than gaining economic growth and security — i.e. attaining a passport, credit, a practical living space for wellness, etc. — you’re being short-sighted in what you consider to be success/maturity. Per usual, people added contexts that weren’t intended or implied and the spirit of love intended was misinterpreted as elitist, bourghie [sic], classist, etc. Three things I only play on TV. Nonetheless, I stand by my comments and those that get it, got it, and those that don’t, don’t. All love. I’m not for everyone but I am for everyone winning.”

Hilarie Burton had to laugh so she wouldn't cry when Ben Affleck groped her on TRL

A fan recalled that Ben Affleck had once groped Hilarie Burton on Total Request Live. This appears to have happened in early 2003 (possibly 2001?) Affleck is ten years older than Burton and their ages would have been 18/28 or 20/30 at the time of the assault.




She posted this video which includes a brief clip of her talking about Affleck grabbing her breast.

- The story would have been a version of Jack and the Beanstalk, featuring a female giant

Chimamanda N'Gozi Adichie, world renowned feminist and author of the soon to be adapted Americanah, thinks that the left is cannibalistic and too willing to shout rather than debate.
She says, among other things: “In the quest for inclusiveness, the left is willing to discard a certain kind of complex truth. I think there’s a quickness to assign ill intent.”

Adichie experienced this herself earlier this year, after she made controversial statements on trans issues.

-The private couple attended the Los Angeles premiere of Chris’ new Marvel installment, Thor: Ragnarok, posing on the red carpet together.
- The appearance marked the couple's first red carpet together since before their split in 2013. They last made a joint public appearance in October 2016.
-Miley has been close with the beau's family for years. In January 2016, she was spotted with Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky, at a music festival in Australia.

ONTD original: Buried footage of Ben Affleck Groping Hilarie Burton in 2001 resurfaces

Last night Hilarie Burton took to twitter to say she had never forgotten that Ben Affleck had groped her during Total Request Live.

After googling I thought the incident occured in 2003 since those are the only pics of Ben Affleck on TRL that appear on the internet.

tube_fiend pointed out that it happened even earlier, on the May 24, 2001 episode of the show and even found an old listing that backed her up. Burton would have been 18, Affleck 28 at the time.

Never doubt the power of ONTD investigators because even though the video appeared to be scrubbed from the internet clittypatranot only managed to track it down, but uploaded it to youtube. This comes in the wake of comments Ben Affleck made condemning his long time boss Harvey Weinstein for using his "power to sexually harass, intimidate and manipulate many women".


The video shows Affleck getting up out of his chair, wrapping his arm around Burton to give her a "hug", and squeezing her breast. In the clip Burton recalls that she would rather have gotten a high-five.

In Asia Argento's statement to the New Yorker about her experience with Harvey Weinstein, she says that in 1997 a producer invited her to a "Miramax party" at a hotel in the French Riviera. The producer allegedly brought her to Harvey Weinstein's room, which was empty but for Harvey - the party invitation had been a ruse. When she asked the producer about the party, he allegedly replied that they were just early, and then left her alone with Weinstein, who would in the same evening allegedly force himself on her. According to the New Yorker, the producer in question, who wasn't named in the piece, denies bringing Asia to Weinstein's room that night.

Who is this producer? According to her, Fabrizio Lombardo.The same guy Weinstein asked Matt Damon and Russell Crowe to vouch for as a legitimate professional to a reporter (and not a guy who brought women to Weinstein). Damon says Weinstein only told him the reporter was writing "a negative piece", and to say what his experience working with the producer was. The actor apparently did not ask for additional details. Asia Argento claims "everybody knows" about Lombardo.
