I thought this was a great season premiere. I liked the introduction of Lieutenant Pierce, and I'm excited for the new big bad, Sinnerman. Ella and Amenadiel finally meeting was cute. I hope they stick to being friends, though. Only thing missing was Maze and Trixie.

- Christo said the publisher canceled her book because of steps she took to ensure the protection of her family members’ identities.

- When it came time to provide documentation, she altered the photocopies to disguise their names.

- This is after the publisher hired lawyers to vet her, to make sure she is who she says she is.

ABC has given full season order of 22 episodes to their new medical drama "The Good Doctor" starring Freddie Highmore.

“We are thrilled to announce that we are giving our viewers additional episodes of The Good Doctor,” said Channing Dungey, President, ABC Entertainment. “We have an amazing team in front of and behind the camera, led by Freddie Highmore’s incredibly nuanced performance as Dr. Shaun Murphy, and we’re confident the show will continue to captivate our audience.”

The Good Doctor is the #1 new drama of the season, so far.

Roman Polanski accused of rape by Renate Langer

- Renate Langer, a 61-year-old former German actress, has reported to the Swiss police that the film director Roman Polanski raped her at a house in Gstaad in February 1972, when she was 15.
- She had not previously reported anything to the police — and did not confide in friends and family at the time — largely out of concern for her parents. She said she told a boyfriend years later.
- She is speaking out now because she had read the account of the woman who came forward in August and because her parents are no longer alive.
- Renate Langer is now the fourth woman to accuse Polanski of abuse after Samantha Geimer, Charlotte Lewis, and a woman identified only as Robin M.

Greta Gerwig Renounces Her Support Of Call For Cancellation Of Israeli Play

Greta Gerwig, director of the upcoming film “Lady Bird,” had signed an open letter in July along with more than 60 others from the entertainment industry calling on New York’s Lincoln Center to cancel performances of the play “To The End Of The Land,” which was produced by two Israeli theater companies and received funding from the Israeli embassy.

Greta signed the petition which was organized by Adalah-NY. The group supports the BDS movement to boycott, divest and sanction Israeli businesses and cultural organizations until the Jewish state negotiates a settlement with Palestinians.

Greta Gerwig took to the New York Post‘s Page Six gossip column to renounce her prior support.

Kate Winslet is reuniting with Titanic director James Cameron for the upcoming Avatar sequels. She will play a character named Ronal. No word on how many of the sequels she will appear in.

Production for Avatar 2 officially began last week and is currently scheduled for release on December 18, 2020.

- Caitlyn gave Kim an advance copy of her memoir, but it didn't include scandalous parts that were later included, like Caitlin saying Kim's dad believed OJ was guilty
- "My relationship with Caitlyn was strained, and I was trying to be respectful," Kim says. "But if you talk about my dad, I will cut you."
- Kris is shown crying because she's upset she wasn't told about Caitlyn's surgery and was worried Kendall and Kylie wouldn't handle it well
- Kendall asks Caitlyn to not comment publicly on her Pepsi commercial, but Caitlyn does anyway

Ellen Page gave an interview on Conan and apparently has Kristen Wiig's name tattooed on her lil Canadian bicep!

Ellen says that she has 8 tattoos total, most of them stick-and-pokes done by friends.

She is currently promoting the Flatliners remake, costarring Diego Luna and Nina Dobrev. She and Dobrev stayed in a cottage together and played Flip Cup on a slip 'n' slide.



The zombie drama The Cured and romantic tearjerker My Days of Mercy showed at the Toronto Film Festival. The Cured is about people who were once zombies and have been cured, but now must live with the stigma in society. MDoM is about a journalist, Page, who falls in love with a death-row inmate, Kate Mara.

Jennifer Lopez will postpone her next three shows in the aftermath of the attack in Las Vegas, out of respect for the victims & their families
Her shows were scheduled for October 4,6,& 7
She was set to preform at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

A statement from Lopez's team says that ticket holders can expect to be contacted by Ticketmaster or Axis for refunds or exchanges

Monday night TV Ratings: "Good Doctor" steady; CBS collapses; "The Gifted" starts OK

Week 2 of premiere week brought some shocking results. The biggest of which was that ABC's "The Good Doctor" starring Freddie Highmore held 100% of its premiere ratings at a 2.2. That is a rarity these days as most news shows drop in week 2. The last show to do that was Quantico 2 years ago.
Week 2 also saw the collapse of CBS from premiere Monday. "The Big Bang Theory" was dominant at a 3.2 but dropped almost a full ratings point from last week. New (awful!) comedy "9JKL" debut at a 1.5, losing more than half of TBBT's lead-in. Without the buzzy Young Sheldon as lead-in, "Kevin Can Wait" starring Kevin James and Erinn Hayes Leah Remini dropped a full rating point to 1.3. New comedy Me, Myself & I also saw heavy drop to 1.0. Kooky procedural "Scorpion" went fractional for the first time with a 0.8.
On NBC, "The Brave" dropped 0.2 from an already low rated premiere to a 1.1.
ON FOX, X-Men series "The Gifted" premiered at a 1.5, which might be okay for the network for the network but underwhelming for the buzzy show. "Lucifer" returned with a 1.1, down a tad from last season premiere, but up from the finale.

Last night Fihth Harmony performs at Buenos Aires (argentina) and Becky G is currently opening for the group's PSA tour.

During "All in my head" performance Dinah had a waldrobe malfunction and Becky G run on stage to wrap the flag of Argentina around Dinah, but the bodyguard takes Becky out out of the stage because he thought she was a fan.

+ As if Puerto Rico hasn't suffered enough, they were visited by T**** today. During his visit, he accused Puerto Rico of throwing the U.S. budget out of whack. Keep in mind that 33 million of their debt is because of T**** himself. He also threw rolls of paper towels to the victims as if he was at a basketball game. T**** told the victims to have a "good time" and claims that they are doing as good of a job in PR as they did in FL and TX. Spoiler alert: that is not true.
+ Trump also stated that PR should be happy it's not a "real catastrophe" like Katrina and that the death toll is only at 16. The death toll since then has risen to 34.
