Season 6 recap up to this week's episode:
Twenty-two "bad at relationship" singles have been thrown into a house in a new city: New Orleans, with a new host: Terrence J (bring back Ryan!!!).


Week 1
The throwaway Truth Booth Pairs were Ethan & Keyana, Malcolm & Audrey, and David (Shad) & Jada. Predictably and stupidly the cast voted Ethan and Keyana into the Truth Booth and got a no match.



Week 2
Malcolm, Nurys, and Diandra continue their sad lust triangle. Jada and Uche continue to vy for Clinton's affections. Anthony and Geles get cozier along with Michael and Keyana. Keyana has already stated they will not split up even if they're not a perfect match (girl plz it's been 2 weeks and you're already ready to change your last name I can't). Alexis and Kieth get to know some other people in the house. And Ethan continues crying about none of the girls wanting him. Everyone else is irrelevant at this point.

They had their first match-up ceremony and got 3 beams.

  • Says that this season was the most demanding for him an actor. In addition to playing the fictional Kai, Evan also plays at different points Charles Manson, David Koresh, Jim Jones, Marshall Applewhite and Andy Warhol.

  • He read up on the various different cult leaders, calling the research process into events such as Jonestown to be 'heartbreaking' and says he's more frightened now of real-life cults.

  • Describes his character's relationship with Sarah Paulson's; "It's a challenge for Kai to maybe take her in and make her the queen, his right-hand woman. There’s something special and bewitching about her, where he sees her as an integral part of his master plan. Almost a heaven-sent figure. It definitely goes into a strange, odd, combative but loving relationship — if that makes any sense."

- Back in the olden days (i.e. 1960s/1970s) Ruth Bader Ginsburg, then-attorney at the ACLU Women's Rights Project, wrote Playboy to thank them for their support, which totalled $100,000.
- Hefner/Playboy revolutionized the way masculinity and femininity were viewed in post-war America. The man idealized in Playboy was "self-conscious of his looks, his apartment, even his cooking skills."
- The woman girl idealized by Playboy deviated from the traditional "good" girl or "bad" girl archetype--she was a "good" girl who liked sex.

To celebrate the RMX/RBN vinyl, which obviously I didn't ask for, here's a throwback to the Body Talk Tour. The film mixes live footage, behind-the-scenes shots, and interviews with Robyn from her 2012 tour around Europe.

The Queen of Pop also confirmed a reissue of Body Talk on vinyl.

Robyn hasn't officially released new music since the ONTD meetup. I hope she's happy now with her IKEA retail career.

Does Demi Lovato Want To Smoke Nick Jonas' Cigar?

One of Demi's songs off her newest album Tell Me You Love Me has fans wondering if she secretly has feelings for Nick Jonas. The song in question is called "Ruin the Friendship," and in a recent interview, Demi said the following:

"I was frustrated with a certain situation and I was like, 'You know what, I'm just going to write about it.' And so I did, and sent [the songs] to that person, and that was...Interesting. Any time you send a song about the person, to the person—it's ballsy. It's like, 'Hey! Here's my feelings for you!'…They knew [about my feelings], but neither of us had acknowledged [them] before. And then it turned out that person had written a song about me, and we exchanged songs."

The song opens with the line "Put down your cigar and pick me up," and Nick is known for his love of cigars. Other lyrical clues include mention of a guitar, another songwriter, and a long-lasting friendship full of history.

Tia responds to long-awaited rumors: "We have found a writer, so we are really excited about that. There is one more step we have to do... which is not going to take too much time and you guys will have your Sister Sister reboot."




Tamera mentions beginning to work with Tia again (@ 2:57 min.): "I want to work with my sister, we haven't worked with each other in about 10 years on film. We are trying our best to do a Sister Sister reunion. It's more than halfway there. You will be seeing us on screen pretty soon."

A couple of days ago on The Real, she slyly invites RonReaco Lee aka Tyreke to come back for his role.

A woman, allegedly the girl in question, recently came across this tweet and expanded with further detail, claiming that Nicki stabbed her in the leg with a fork.


Nicki claims this is not true.

Wolf Alice released their much anticipated second album 'Visions Of A Life' today:

The reviews have been pretty glowing so far (Metacritic score 82):
- The author calls he album "brave, bold and magnificent"
- Says that it's an improvment on an already great foundation
- Says it's the album of the year and gives it 5/5.
- Calls the album darker and bolder than their previous work. Says that the album "keeps Wolf Alice on the path to being Britain's best band".

- Says the album is a "phenomenal achievement"
- "It has captured on record the thrill, angst, sadness and uncertainty of being in your twenties and not really knowing what’s going to happen or should happen. All of it is never anything less than intoxicating, heartfelt and effortless."

There are also more of 4/5 and 9/10, 8/10 reviews, so that's the common opinion. There are also 2 mixed reviews, you can all reviews in Metacritic.

Stephen King's It scares off The Exorcist to become highest-grossing horror ever

Stephen King's It has passed 500 million worldiwde at the box office, making it the highest grossing horror film of all time. The previous record holder was 'The Exorcist' which made 441 million in comparison. (This is not counting inflation.)

“Crossing $500m is rarified air for any film, but for a horror film it is history-making, and we could not be prouder,” Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing and distribution at Warner Bros told Variety.

“The film-makers and cast did more than make a box-office hit,” she said. “They created a communal, must-see moviegoing event that has reverberated around the globe and is still going strong.”
