- There is a Change.org petition, penned by GLAAD NYU campus ambassador Gianna Collier-Pitts, out right now asking for Warner Bros. to address Diana/Wonder Woman's bisexuality in their films.
- The petition ends with: "All I ask is that Warner Bros. directly acknowledge Diana Prince for who she is, who she has always been (regardless of her current love interest), and what her character could potentially represent for millions of people."
- Collier-Pitts' reasoning for the petition: "Wonder Woman’s Diana Prince hails from Themyscira, land of the Amazons and inhabited exclusively by women. This alone should serve as reason enough to confirm her sexuality, since any close relationship she could have had prior to her romantic storyline with Steve Trevor would have had to have been with another woman. Some of you may be thinking that this specificity doesn’t make a difference but for people like me who rarely see themselves reflected in media, believe me. It does. […] Making Wonder Woman canonically bisexual on the big screen would make her the first openly LGBTQ superhero of any gender from either DC or Marvel’s cinematic universes, and would solidify her place as a true role model for women of all ages and identities."

Halsey may not have been invited to the main stage this year but she was invited to perform during the
Daytime Village Presented by Capital One at the
2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday afternoon. She took this opportunity to drag vocally challenged duet partner Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers. She said to the dozens of fans before going into "Closer":

"Nearly impossible to express the gift that is Gaga: Five Foot Two. This film is one of the most revealing acts of feminine rebellion you will ever witness. We will all see ourselves in it. I sure did. I may not be doing the super bowl halftime show for expectant fans but I know what both triumph and damnation feels like. As a woman in the public eye, I am labeled a brave voice one moment and an idiotic uninformed navel-gazing whiner the next. There are things I've been called that I won't name here because they hurt my heart and body they don't deserve my response. But just as Gaga lives with chronic pain and chronic inspiration, so do we all. She rejects labels and we can too. She understands that we are all works in progress, learning to love ourselves and to fight for each other. The bravest thing we can do right now, for ourselves and for this country, is to exist authentically and without apology. So someones says I'm a fat faux feminist dog abandoner? No: I reject that. On VH1 Storyteller's Heidi mentions this wasn't about Spencer Pratt & was written (with Quincy Jones) as a support song for issues women across the globe deal with.

Heidi used the funding she received for this album to sample 80's fave Yazoo's "Situation" on "Body Language". The release of this song was accompanied with a career-making performance on one of those Miss America/Universe/Teen America whatever shows that propelled it to

Heidi didn't have to stoop to appropriating races like Christina Aguilera & Miley Cyrus to reclaim her sexuality, she did it the old fashioned way, on an FHM/Maxim cover. And on this song, Heidi's vocals sizzle as she teases "eat my panties off of me" before the booming chorus re-focuses the listener back to Heidi talking about her own pleasures & desires, not her partners.

-- Luke Bryan has officially joined "American Idol" as the second judge for the upcoming American Idol reboot on ABC.
-- Katy Perry was previously announced with a $25 million deal; Bryan initially rejected his $6 million offer, and the details of his renegotiated payment are unknown
-- Auditions for the show are supposed to be next week with a series premiere on March 4, but Idol still hasn't locked down a 3rd judge as of yet
-- There were rumors of Lionel Richie, Charlie Puth, and Keith Urban possibly being the 3rd judge, but Variety doesn't think any of them are still in the running

Federer/Nadal shippers practically explode with delight.
- Federer saved a match point won his match against Kyrgios pushing Team Europe over the 13 point threshold to win the tournament
- Nadal lost to Isner in the previous match
- Zverev beat Querrey
- Isner/Sock beat Berdych/Cilic
This fun weekend will probably be mostly remembered for the images of Nadal jumping on Federer after he won the final match.
