During a recent interview with MTV, Demi Lovato revealed that Christina Aguilera's iconic Stripped album was a major influence for her latest work, Tell Me You Love Me.

"She was one of my idols growing up," she said. "She still is. Her voice is incredible, and in Stripped you really got to hear that." She called it "the breakout album that really transformed her into the icon that she is today. I was even inspired by the black and white artwork!"

Tell Me You Love Me drops September 29th.

As previously reported, Jay-Z was in talks to perform during the Super Bowl halftime show this year. However, it is now being reporter that he turned down the offer. Many people believe his decision was influenced by his friendship with Colin Kaepernick, who he even gave a shout-out to during his performance at Meadows Music and Arts Festival last week. Regarding the rumors, the NFL released the following statement:
"No decisions have been made on the performer(s) and we are not going to speculate on particular artists. Along with Pepsi, we know that we will put on a spectacular show. When it is time to announce her name we will do it. Or his name. Or their names."

HBO has ordered a pilot and script committment for Watchmen. The series, based on Alan Moore's 1986 comic series, is being developed for the network by Lost and The Leftovers creator Damon Lindelof. Lindelof teased yesterday on his Instagram that work has begun in the show's writing room.

HBO previously developed the book into a series back in 2014, but abandoned it. Lindelof will not continue with what HBO has already done and will start from scratch.

The book was adapted to film by Zack Synder in 2009 and was meet with lukewarm reception. Recently, Watchmen character Dr. Manhattan was revealed to be responsible for all the changes in the DC Comic's Universe. Dr. Manhattan and Superman, as well as the other Watchmen and DC characters, will finally come face-to-face in November's Doomday Clock miniseries.

Cardi B says a NYC cop put her in a choke hold Tuesday evening and slammed her against her car.

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper says the incident went down around 6 PM near Columbus Circle. Cardi was riding in her new Bentley SUV when another driver hit her. Her cousin got out and argued with the other person when the police got involved.

Cardi says the white officer grabbed her with his arms around her neck and pinned her against the Bentley. She was later let go and the police did not issue any citations or reports.
