Tom Brady Thinks Colin Kaepernick Deserves to Come Back

Colin Kaepernick, who led the 49ers to the Superbowl 47 in 2013, has been extremely vocal about racial injustice and brought Black Lives Matter to the NFL with his silent protests during the National Anthem last pre season. In addition to bringing awareness to racial injustice, Kaepernick has been very active in the community and has donated millions to charities. Since his protests, no teams have signed him, despite the dearth of quality, experienced quarterbacks. Tom Brady, earning some of my respect, defended Kaepernick and believes he deserves to keep playing.

Armie Hammer on being a nervous actor...

“I was terrified before we were going to do it. I wouldn’t say it out loud… But I was nervous. This was a new experience. Having to free yourself so completely while being naked with a man in front of a room full of people, when you think about the prospect of that, it sounds really difficult. But when you’re there doing it, it’s incredible easy. So, the build-up was a lot more intense than the actual filming.”

Timotheé Chalamet on filming the infamous peach scene...

“I remember eating a peach maybe a week after that scene and thinking, ‘Oh, we did a scene with this fruit.’ I didn’t have it to the degree I do now but just from flicking around online, that’s the scene that’s consistently highlighted itself. It’s funny because now I’m about as aware of that as I could be. When we were shooting that scene, you know, sometimes I really would forget that the camera was there. By the time we did that scene it was almost like an out of body experience.”

On the difference between formulating sexual chemistry on screen with a man versus a woman...

Armie: “I don’t really feel that there’s much of a difference. Trying to create chemistry with a human is trying to create chemistry with a human. It’s about taking it off of yourself and reading them and taking what they’re giving you and allowing it to affect you. It’s about being so close and intimate with someone that you can detect those subtle changes that allow you to go on this sort of subtle dance.”

Timotheé: “I almost think the chemistry, as opposed to the physical mechanics of the actual kissing or sex scene, is more palpable in the lack of contact.”

- Riz Ahmed won Outstanding Lead Actors in a Limited Series for playing Nasir "Naz" Khan in The Night Of, becoming the first Muslim actor and the first South Asian actor to win an acting Emmy
- Feels a little strange getting awards based on stories that realities for people, such as the broken American justice system
- Thinks that if the show has brought awareness to prejudices, xenophobia, and the issues with the justice system, then this is worth it
- Aziz Ansari was the first South Asian person to be nominated for an acting Emmy last year for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Master of None, but lost to Jeffrey Tambor in Transparent

The Vancouver Whitecaps held an alumni and celebrity charity match to raise funds for the BC Children's Hospital, and in addition to fan favorite players (Davide Chiumiento, Jay DeMerit, Young Pyo-Lee, Ivor Evans, Steve Macdonald, and Alfredo Valenteseveral) actors from shows that film in the area participated.

Nicole Kidman won an Emmy for her performance in "Big Little Lies."

In her speech, she gave a shout out to her husband and two children with him.

"I have a huge artistic family who have supported me through all my ups and downs," she said.

"I also am a mother and a wife. I have two little girls, Sunny and Faith, and my darling Keith, who I ask to help me pursue this artistic path. And they have to sacrifice so much for it."

“So this is yours. I just want my two little girls to have this on their shelf and to look at it and go, ‘Every time my mumma didn’t put me to bed it’s because of this — [at least] I got something!’”
