Two new Nadine Coyle interviews have surfaced, one with The Guardian and another one with Muumuse; here are some highlights:

On finding out about the Girls Aloud split on the last night of their reunion tour via a manager: “I was in hair and makeup, going through my nightly ritual.”(...) “It was shocking. We’d signed a new deal and recorded what was basically another new album.”(...) “I said (to Sarah Harding), ‘Do you want to break up the band as well?’ and she was like, ‘Oh fuck it, I can’t be arsed with it, I fucking hate everybody.’ That last show, all emotion was switched off as far as I was concerned, with any of them.”

On the split announcement being via Twitter:“A tweet?! I saw the draft and just said, ‘Remove my name from that.’ We’d been saying since the start we were properly back.” (...)

On Cheryl's accusations that she was the cause of the hiatus:(...) “Cheryl had already got her deal, she was ready to go with her solo stuff. I had nothing set up for myself.”

On the other members picking Beautiful Cause You Love Me as their reunion comeback single: (...) “I was in Disneyland and I was told that was the song they were going with and so I said I couldn’t do the reunion,” she says. “‘Beautiful ’cause you love me’? We’re beautiful anyway! But then I got a call back saying it was now Something New and I was like, ‘OK, let’s do it.’”

On her Tesco deal:“I tend to go with the flow and that flow can end up in great places or not so great places,” she laughs. (...) “It was a really stressful time,” (...)“They had to do online maps for fans trying to find (the album)! I was like, ‘What do you want me to do, drive a truck around and hand them out to people?’"

On her "Sweetest High" single: “Did that song really come out?” she asks. “It did, didn’t it? I may have been drunk a lot around that time."

On reuniting with Xenomania:“Late 2015, I got into a taxi to meet a friend in Primrose Hill and the radio was playing song after amazing song. I thought, ‘Who do I know that does songs like this?’ So I texted Brian.” (...) “For five years of [Xenomania’s] 21 years we’ve been in the wilderness, just trying to work out in what way we could be amazing again,” (Xenomania's) Higgins says, “Nadine’s going to have her go and that means a lot to me – that there are no regrets”.

On a possible Girls Aloud reunion:“It hasn’t been discussed, no,” (...) “To be truthful, I didn’t want to break up in the first place. So I would have been sitting here with the other four. I was happy to continue.”

On new single "Go To Work":"It is one of those songs that’s just really fun. It’s kind of like a laid-back vocal on a really big track. It just makes you feel good. And really, that’s all I want to do – I don’t want to change the world. There’s no major statements. It’s not a ‘This Is Me’ moment laying everything out about who I am and what I want to say. What I want to say is that I want people to have fun. I want people to hear the song, let loose and I hope that, really – for the 3 minutes and 30 seconds – it makes your day or night a lot better. That’s really what I wanted, and I think that song really achieves that. I hope everybody else loves it as well!"

On the possibility of an album:"At the moment, we’re working with a four-song package. We have a second single that’s ready to go. A third single’s ready to go. Fourth single’s ready to go."

On who's she's working on her music with now:"It’s just a Xenomania project. Just Xenomania and me."

On her favorite Girls Aloud solo release:"Oh! That’s a good question.I bought Cheryl’s first one because I was supporting the cause. I liked – she had a song, and Selena Gomez sang it as well – “Parachute”? That was my favorite one off of the solo."

On Sarah winning Celebrity Big Brother:"I’m so happy she won. I’m so, so, so happy she won."

On touring:"Yes, well, there has been chat. We had a meeting the other day and I was talking about me doing a tour relatively soon. That’s new to my ears! I’m like ‘What?!” There’s a whole back catalog with Girls Aloud that Brian and I have. So it’s like, what do you do? Do you include that? How would that read to you? (asked about doing a GA megamix) Mmm. That’s a discussion for the afternoon. I would love to do it. It’s just, you know… I hope it all goes really well and everyone loves the song. I hope we just continue on to do this."

On Girls Aloud songs that should have been singles:"I love “Rolling Back the Rivers.” Love that one. “Graffiti My Soul.” (...) “Blackjacks” is another one that I really like."

On the state of girl group pop today, and advising current acts:"I think Little Mix are doing amazing. They certainly don’t need any advice from me. They’re doing amazingly, and I’m a huge fan. I went to see them at the O2. I think they’re amazing. Fifth Harmony, I have to say I’m not too familiar with, to be honest. As you say, it’s really, really scarce. [Pauses] There’s not many, when you put it like that! I think somebody needs to put together a new girl band. And then I’ll advise that band!"

- Miranda Kerr, who recently got married to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, says that her grandmother taught her "that men are visual and you need to make a little effort" and adds that "when [Evan] comes home, I make sure to have a nice dress on and the candles lit. We make time to have a nice dinner together"
- "At work, I'm like, 'We need to do this!' and, 'This needs to happen!' But at home, I slip into my feminine and empower Evan to be in his masculine." For her this means to "just be more in my feelings. More gentle, leaning back. It's a nice balance."
- Talks about her skincare company, Kora, which she's now focusing on. Getting modelling jobs is less of a priority for her now: "Now, if an opportunity comes up, I think, 'Is this in the best interest of my family?' and 'Will this interrupt Kora?'"
- Kora is fully organic and made with noni which is filtered through rose quartz crystals, "which gives it a vibration of love". After this it goes through a salt rinse and is "re-energized" in sunlight
- On divorce from Orlando Bloom: "It was the right thing to do; we weren't bringing out the best in each other" but notes that they will always be friends and there is no hostility
- She is willing to try unconventional health treatments; at a Goop panel she talked about leech facials

John David Washington (the son of Denzel Washington) will star in the adaptation of a memoir by an African American police detective who infiltrated the KKK.
Lee will direct and produce the movie with Peele producing via his banner Monkeypaw Productions.

Klansman tells the story of Ron Stallworth, a detective in Colorado Springs, Colorado, who in 1978 answered an ad in the local newspaper seeking new Klan members. He not only gained membership, but rose through the ranks to become the head of the local chapter. Stallworth, who is black, was able to gather all sorts of intelligence by pretending to be a white supremacist on the phone or via other forms of correspondence but sent a white fellow officer in his place for any in-person meetings. During his undercover work, Stallworth managed to sabotage several cross-burnings and other activities of the notorious hate group.

• Someone has been sending him threats and pornographic images through WhatsApp including things like "I’ll skin your whole family including you and turn y’all into bedsheets, pillow cases, and a queen size blanket." and, after he replied and told them to stop “F**k You” and “F**k your mom and your family.”

•  LAPD is now investigating, they suspect the culprit is a female American between the age of 18 and 25.

• Last year a "fan" also impersonated Zayn to get the rest of the band's numbers and then called Louis to ask for a Twitter follow and told him they wish his baby son would die.

• He isn't the first 1D member to receive death threats, in 2015 someone made a Twitter account just to threaten Harry and post stuff like “I Made This Account To Let Everyone Know That Harry Styles Will Die, August 5th 2015, At MetLife Stadium."

I know they have some tough competition but 1D "fans" remain the worst. Shit is really getting out of control.
