He also talked about music, reading conspiracy theory books, becoming a farmer and his family in different interviews.

  • On feeling happier and healthier now:"I am, yeah. Super. I definitely am. I’m going to bed quite early at the minute. I’ve been working in the studio throughout the day and going to bed at a reasonable time, getting up at reasonable times. Eating all my meals. I’ve got a gym at the house, so I’ve starting doing a bit of training. My fans can rest assured everything is under control, haha."

  • On not promoting "Mind of Mine" for very long:"To be honest, I don’t really want to do shitloads of promotion. I’ll do the music interviews and stuff like that, that actually have something to do with what I’m doing. But a lot of public interviews and being on TV, to me, is more about being a social character, about being a — what’s the word for it, when people are on TV but don’t do anything? Reality TV stars? I don’t buy into that side of things. I just want to do my music. If people hear about me from their friend, it’s cooler than me being in their face all the time."

  • On working with new people and doing more mainstream songs:"The thing for me on the first album, I wanted that to stand alone as a body of work that I’d put together, as I said at that time. Before that, I’d put records out with four other guys for five years, and I wanted to do stuff that was solely me. I focused on the stuff I wanted to do with Malay, and put some songwriter stuff on there.

I’ve done that again on this record, but I’ve tried to do more mainstream songs too, because obviously my fans want to listen to something that’s a bit more upbeat and feel-good and not necessarily always as thought-provoking or deep as my shit, haha. I have to do something that’s a bit more mainstream because they want to listen to some fun stuff, rather than listen to depressing songs all the time. I appreciate that. I’ve took that on board. I’m trying to do some more fun stuff for them. I’ve got a few tricks on there."

  • On his new album:"I listen to a lot of different types of music, not just R&B, and I appreciate it. I enjoy doing all kinds of different music. I’ve been playing around with different stuff. I like a lot of U.K. garage music, and that was a heavy influence on me as well as the more classic American R&B. Craig David and stuff like that, and I was definitely drawing reference from them. We’ve got more songs like the one with PARTYNEXTDOOR. He’s cool."

  • On being a big reader:"I read a lot as a kid. I don’t know if I’ve ever said this, but my granddad used to get me to read letters. He’s actually first-generation Pakistani. He was born in India, before India and Pakistan were divided. He came over, and he didn’t speak a lot of English, so he used to get me to read his letters to him when I was, like, 3 or 4. So I developed a real want to read things all the time. I would read books constantly as a child.

I’m still a reader. I’ve read a lot of different kinds of things. At the minute, I probably spend too much time reading conspiracy theory books that give my mind way too much information that I probably don’t need. I like reading books about aliens and space."

  • On gardening in his backyard:"I’ve got cucumber plants, tomato plants, onions, all kinds of crazy things growing. I just went to the local garden shop and bought seeds packets, read the instructions, and tried it at home."

  • He was actually bald, it wasn't a bald cap:"I just shaved my head because I’d bleached it too many times and it was a bit destroyed. The bleach effects your hair doesn’t it so you’ve got to shave it off. It grows back straight away anyways, so I’ve got hair now anyway, it only took two days!"

  • The album won't have as many songs as "Mind of Mine".

  • He's interested in acting since that was his main interest when he was in school.

Nadine Claims That Former Girls Aloud Members Are Very "Bitter"

$

In a not so shocking new interview with Dan Wootton, Girls Aloud main vocalist Nadine claims that the former Girls Aloud members were very bitter that she got the most lines in their songs. This bitterness eventually caused a divide in the group which led to their disbandment after their 10 year anniversary.

"It’s so sad for me to have to admit this stuff now because for so long, there’s the band, and you want everybody to think we’re best friends and we have pillow fights and, you know, drink milkshakes. That's what you want. That’s what I wanted it to be. I really, really wanted that to be, but it just wasn’t how it was.

It just happened that I always got more vocals than everybody else, so in terms of people wanting their voice heard, that wasn’t happening and it made people very very bitter. They didn’t like that. And they didn't like Brian (Xenomania's lead producer) because of that.
"

In the interview, she expresses her disappointment with how the other girls decided to announce the group's disbandment on the final night of their tour.

"So we done the show, then afterwards one of the management came and said 'Here this is the tweet that they are doing.' I was like 'What, a tweet? Absolutely not. What is this? This is a load of nonsense. Take my name off it. I don't agree with anything that's written there.' You can't start off the reunion with a press conference and end ten years with a TWEET!"

When asked if she was disappointed in being the only member from Girls Aloud to publically support Sarah Harding on Celebrity Big Brother, Nadine claims that she's not surprised that Cheryl and her minions did not show any support.

"I'm not surprised. You would actually prefer people to be genuine. You don't like someone, there you go. Just be genuine about it. You don't have to be anything else. I don't think Sarah is surprised either. It's to be expected."

Nadine also claims that she's not ruling out another Girls Aloud reunion.

"So could we work together? Absolutely, we could do that next week and it would be fine. It (their feud) wouldn't make a difference to how everything would work... I love Girls Aloud.

I can honestly say, I don't dislike any of them. I don't have any bad feelings towards any of them.
"

Nadine's new single "Go To Work" is out NOW! Buy it on iTunes and stream it on Spotify!

Call Me By Your Name @ TIFF 2017

  • Luca doesn't believe in the auditioning process and is more interested in an actor's personality than their skills. If a person has already been in 10 or 15 films, you already know what their acting is like, so he thinks that conversation is a better way to see if they will fit the role.

  • Timmy and Armie didn't meet until after they had both been cast but spent a month together in Crema before filming started, and their incredible chemistry just came from a natural friendship.

  • The first and only scene they rehearsed was the first kiss: Luca chose a "random" scene to rehearse, they flipped to scene 62 in the script and all it said was "Elio and Oliver making out." They went to the backyard of the villa where they were filming, and Luca said "You two just lay down. Okay, whenever you're ready. Go ahead." They rolled around on the grass making out, and Luca said "Okay, that's okay" and just walked away.

  • Luca wanted to make the film as if it wasn't a period story, and didn't want to overrun it with 80's references.

  • Andre Aciman, the author of the book, was on set with them at times, and told Luca that he likes the ending of the film almost better than the ending of the book.

  • The first time they had a wardrobe fitting, Armie put on a pair of Oliver's shorts and said "Where's the rest of them?!"

Reviews for BoJack Horseman S4 (+bonus interview about the sitcoms behind Horsin' Around)

Season 4 also expands the stories of those in BoJack’s inner circle. Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter navigate their marital issues in a shocking way, made all the more absurd by the fact that one of them is a golden retriever.

One of the questions Bob-Waksberg had to ask himself was, “Is that any less dangerous, to run an empty campaign with good intentions than to run an empty campaign with bad intentions?”

BoJack’s ability to vocalize the insecurities that haunt him the most has always been what’s made the show special. That’s why it isn’t until the new season’s sixth episode that BoJack Horseman begins to shine. The first five episodes — with the exception of a wonderful second episode — are superfluous.

Creator Ralph Bob-Waksberg talks about the 90s sitcoms that influenced the show within a show
DB: Horsin’ Around feels like every generic family sitcom from 1984-89. What were the inspirations? What were you looking at?

RBW: I’d say as early as the eighties you have Diff'rent Strokes through to Charles in Charge. Certainly there’s some Family Ties in there, although Family Ties might be too good for Horsin’ Around. The major inspiration that I really grew up with is Full House. The more saccharine the better.

Sarah Polley was sexually harassed on a film set when she was 9 years old

  • Talks about how sexual harassment and even assault is incredibly common and an every day occurence

  • When she was 9 she worked on a film where a camera operator said sexist things when she asked him to stop because his comments made her hate men he told her "You won’t be saying that when you’re 40 and you’ve got cobwebs in your box."

  • A female camera operator later asked her not to speak out because when she did the camera operator would lash out at all the women on set

  • Sexual harassment is a big reason why she quit acting in her 20s

  • Said she would speak out about sexual harassment on set now, but points out she's 38 and it's taken her decades to get to that point

  • Says she has hope for the Canadian film industry having more gender balance eventually stopping the harassment but points out that it's mostly white women making progress in that area

Richard Branson's luxury island retreat, Necker, basically took a direct hit from hurricane Irma and many of the buildings and trees were leveled. Everyone on the island sheltered in the wine cellar and were safe.

He's urging everyone in the storm's path to take it seriously. Virgin Atlantic flights are being used to bring supplies and aid to affected islands.
