Lathan shaved her head for the filming of Nappily Ever After which is being directed by Wadjda director Haifaa Al-Mansour for Netflix. The film is based on the book of the same name by Trisha R. Thomas about an ad exec who is tired of straightening her hair and gives herself a buzz cut before dumping her long-term boyfriend who refuses to commit.

Piers Morgan takes disgraced L'Oréal model to task over "white people are racist" comments

Transgender model Munroe Bergdorf has made waves for her viral Facebook post condemning the "racial violence of white people... ALL white people." The post led to her firing from L'Oréal, and she later called for a boycott of the company.

In the above video, Munroe appears on Good Morning Britain, where Piers Morgan grills her on the comment. Munroe semi-walks back her original comments ("I don't think all white people are by nature racist"), while Piers accuses her of causing more division. It's basically a shouting match.

Highlight: Piers asking, "What's the patriarchy?"

iHeart Radio asked Lime about his now infamous Henry Cavill thirst trap impersonation, and he expressed feels about Cavill responding.





STD (feat. Quavo) has officially broken into the Billboard Top 10, making Panye the third member of One Direction to snatch a solo top 10 spot. He took to Twitter to express his gratitude to y'all for buying and streaming the track, and also thanked his "four band mates and brothers."

Hi everyone... Just wanted to update you all on my injury and the rest of my season.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to compete in the upcoming events in Beijing and Shanghai, and most likely, the final two events to finish the season in Vienna and Paris due to my hip injury which has been bothering me the last few months.

Having consulted with a number of leading hip specialists over the last week, along with my own team, we have decided that this is the best decision for my long-term future.

Although this has been a frustrating year on court for many reasons, I’m confident after this extended period of rest and rehabilitation that I will be able to reach my best level again and be competing for Grand Slam titles next season.
I will be beginning my 2018 season in Brisbane in preparation for the Australian Open and I’m look forward playing in Glasgow later this year against Roger for UNICEF UK and Sunny-sid3up.

I have a fantastic team working alongside me to help me through this process and appreciate the support from them and all of my fans over this difficult period.

-Jane quit, her last story was about a victim of sexual assault, and it turned out Jacqueline was one as well. The whole storyline was heartbreaking.
-Kat went to Adena.
-Sutton broke up with Alex and got back with Richard.



“I had bosses that were the Jacqueline Carlyles, and I had mentors like that. It was just so exciting to get to show that character on television. Also, I feel like there’s been this convention that’s been on TV for so long, where when you have female friendships on TV, the place you’re going to look for drama is them turning on each other, and that’s not my experience at all. I have friends who always have my back, they always proofread my email for me or say ‘Yes, send that to your boss’ or don’t. Those are the female friendships I have, and that’s what I wanted to show on TV.”-The creator of the show said, she went on to talk more about the core three:
“They were always going to lean on each other in those big moments of life challenges. We found this tone for the show where, even when there are these hard challenges of Jane getting tested for the BRCA gene or Kat getting doxxed, they’re there for each other. There is still this comfort, and it’s not just ‘me against the world,’ it’s ‘me and my squad.’”

In his song 'Back To You', a duet with Bebe Rexha he sings “You drag me down, you f*ck me up” and “And I guess you’ll never know/All the bullsh*t that you put me through.” But different versions play on the radiothat substitute the words “f*ck” and “bullsh*t.” He complained on twitter that radio's should simply blank out the swearing rather than using the alternate line he recorded, though later said that also 'wasn't fine'.

He also got in trouble with fans on twitter for liking a tweet supporting controversial television host Piers Morgan.


Though other fans said it was simply his way of standing up to homophobia.

TNT gave this show 10 episodes to tell a story about Shakespeare's early life in London writing plays and becoming famous and cheating on his wife. It also had Christopher Marlowe as a sexually promiscuous satanist, a lot of Catholics running and eventually being tortured and people dressed up in bad 16th century cosplay. This is the second show based on Shakespeare to bite the dust this summer (anyone remember Star-Crossed?)
