Issa Rae joins "The Hate U Give"

- Amandla Stenberg will play the lead. Also stars Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby, Algee Smith, Lamar Johnson, and Common. Rae will play April, the activist that helps Stenberg’s character find her voice and speak up.

- Stenberg plays a 16-year-old girl who grew up in a poverty-stricken area, but now attends a suburban prep school. After she witnesses a police officer shoot her unarmed best friend, she’s torn between her two very different worlds as she tries to speak her truth.

They discovered that the location they visited didn't serve hotdogs.

They were disappointed and left the Target.

New video for Liam's latest single "For What It's Worth" was released this morning.





Liam was in Seoul, South Korea on August 21 for a concert and was mobbed by fans at the airport upon arrival. There was some criticism that staff didn't do enough to ensure his safety among all the fans while he was making his way through the airport.

He played the Beady Eye track "Soul Love" for the crowd in Seoul.





Liam sparked Oasis reunion rumours once again (because people will reach for the stars when it comes to speculating about an Oasis reunion) after it was announced that Noel will be playing a charity concert at the reopening of the Manchester Arena after the terror attack that took place there in May. Liam tweeted that he'd be open to making an appearance as well. He had previously criticized Noel heavily for not playing Ariana Grande's Manchester One Love benefit show. Rumours have also been flying that Noel is angry with Chris Martin for performing "Don't Look Back In Anger" with Liam.







Liam rated his best and worst haircuts for NME. Wonderful quotes include: "I’m having that all day, that’s 10 out of 10, that’s peak. I dyed the tips of it ‘cos Keith Richards used to do it years ago when he was on smack and I thought, ‘Fuck it, it will give me an edge." And also, "Not having that one. It’s not funny. I was meant to be going into my George Harrison mode but didn’t pull it off. I look like my fucking cousin Sharron there. Alright Shazza. I should of had it cut in a bit more, but never mind.

Hot dog dog. Thanks for chiming in on what you feel I deserve to be paid. I believe women deserve equal pay. However I don't believe I deserve equal pay to Chris and Dave. They are legends and 2 of the greatest comics of all time. I would like to say that I have been selling out arenas these last couple years. Something a female comic has never done. That's a big deal to me, especially because I know I do my best every night on stage for the audience and they have a good time. I didn't ask for the same as my friends. I did ask for more than the initial offer. I will continue to work my ass off and be the best performer I can be. The reports of me "demanding" or "insisting" on equal pay to them aren't a true. #fat#stealsjokes

Bethenny Frankel Wants "Zero Contact" With Ex-Husband Following Stalking/Harassment Court Case

  • Bethenny Frankel normally doesn't address her divorce or issues with now ex-husband Jason Hoppy in interviews or on the Real Housewives of New York City, but last night during part 2 of the reunion, she gave us a teensy bit of insight into her issues, with the help of pal Carole Radzewill.

  • Bethenny didn't say much but said that the entire process has been "torment and torture" and also, admitted Jason was physically, mentally and emotionally abusive during their marriage.

  • Jason is currently awaiting trial for 8 charges of stalking and harassament. Jason wanted the case thrown out but on August 8th, a judge denied that request and slapped him with 4 more charges of stalking and harassment.

  • Hoppy was arrested outside of Bryn's school back in January 27th, 2017 for stalking and harassing Frankel during her custody days as well as her boyfriend Dennis. Frankel also submitted thousands of vulgar, harassing texts and emails from Jason over the course of a year during their divorce and since.

  • Frankel stated that she will be okay with whatever outcome comes out of the September 27th trial because it will be legally mandated but hopes it involves "zero contact", because its the only way she will be able to live a free life again.

  • Pal Carole Radzewill also shed some light on the situation, saying when Hoppy has Bryn, the daughter he shares with Frankel, he constantly violates their custody order. Frankel is allowed to speak to her daughter twice a day during Hoppy's custody, but sometimes he won't answer the phone or will only let the daughter say Hi then hang up the phone. Radzewill also alluded to the fact that Hoppy has also violated the order by not giving Bryn back to Bethenny, sometimes being late 1 or 2 days out of spite.

  • Reporter says the first time she interviewed him he was really uptight and she asked him why Rose and Jack just couldn't share the board at the end of Titanic and he got really mad and told her that she should ask Shakespeare why Romeo and Juliet died

  • He thinks it's hard being married to independent women because they don't need you (reporter notes Linda Hamilton said it's hard being married to him because he's a control freak though he does seem to have relaxed a lot)

  • Thinks Wonder Woman is regressive: All of the self-congratulatory back-patting Hollywood’s been doing over Wonder Woman has been so misguided. She’s an objectified icon, and it’s just male Hollywood doing the same old thing! I’m not saying I didn’t like the movie but, to me, it’s a step backwards. Sarah Connor was not a beauty icon. She was strong, she was troubled, she was a terrible mother, and she earned the respect of the audience through pure grit. And to me, [the benefit of characters like Sarah] is so obvious. I mean, half the audience is female!

  • Still claims the 4 Avatar sequels are going forward

  • She ends the interview asking him the Rose & Jack Titanic question again to see if he truly is a changed personand he answers calmly that he should probably have made the board smaller

Charli XCX is opening for Halsey on Halsey's upcoming tour and they covered Billboard Magazine together

Halsey: “Part of our brand is ‘hot mess,’”

- People are skeptical of singers from reality TV and female artists in general and from the beginning, both of them experienced people doubting their songwriting talents.

-According to Charli, Camila Cabello is a great writer and she wasn't expecting her to be as involved as she was in the songwriting process. Halsey worked with Lauren Jauregui who's also from 5H and they both like her.

They've both only punched guys in the face. Halsey punched a guy in the hallway of high school after she fainted in biology class and he called her a slut who fainted in biology class.

-Halsey claims she got a perfect score on her SATs

-Charli says age isn't really a thing in music but there's an idea in the media that there's an appropriate age to be a popstar.

-Halsey says she's really good friends with Katy Perry and she doesn't like the way people are treating her because people should be allowed to change and grow up as artists.

-Halsey would've been like Stevie Nicks if she were a celebrity in the 70s but she thinks she would've been less likable and popular then.

-Halsey says she has a movie coming out next year that she can't talk about and her other friend Jared Leto has been giving her acting pointers.

-Halsey wants to die from skydiving or something like skydiving.
