After yesterday's news about The Good Fight, we learn that Erica Tazel, who played Barbara Kolstad, will not return to the show as a series regular. She may reprise her role as Kolstad in future episodes. She was also the last person to be added to the cast in Season 1.

Knight was extremely unhappy with his portrayal in the movie and threatened the director by text in 2014.
F. Gary Gray was reasonably in sustained fear for his safety and the safety of his immediate family.
In January, 2015, Knight was arrested on murder charges for running over Terry Carter while on the film’s Compton set with his car.
It is the latest in a long line of legal problems for Knight, dating back to 1987.

• In 1988, Victor Salva was convicted of sexual misconduct with the youngest star, Nathan Forrest Winters, of his 1989 movie Clownhouse. Child pornography was found at his home, too. Salva was charged with "lewd and lascivious conduct, oral sex with a person under 14, and procuring a child for pornography."


• Nathan Forrest Winters, who is no longer acting, will be discussing his trauma in a new documentary he is filming with his partner, Connar Frazier. What he had to say about Victor Salva: "Towards the end of ’87 he was arrested on eleven counts of... sexual abuse on me and others, convicted on four of the less severe. He was sentenced to three years in prison, for which he served a mere eighteen months in a rehabilitation facility in Napa Valley, California. A three-year sentence, eighteen months served, for crimes it took him six years to commit."

*Michelle Carter will spend 15 months in prison after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for repeatedly encouraging her boyfriend to commit suicide.

She was sentenced to 2 1/2 years, with 15 months suspended. The judge also granted her a stay of incarceration, meaning she will not have to go to prison until she has exhausted her appeals in state court.


*Netflix is creating a parody true crime TV series called American Vandal. It's a mystery about who is spray-painting dicks onto cars. The spoof is unexpected coming from Netflix, since it helped spur the true crime craze with its documentaries Making a Murderer and The Keepers.









*Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders is coming to NBC on September 26th. It looks... fine? It's an eight-episode series that is apparently trying to emulate American Crime Story.






*Discovery is also doing an eight-part scripted series on Ted Kaczynski called Manhunt: UNABOMBER. It will focus on the FBI agent who used brilliant linguistic techniques to help identify and capture Kaczynski. The series stars Paul Bettany, Chris Noth, Jane Lynch, and Keisha Castle Hughes. The Unabomber was active for nearly 20 years, killing 3 people with his homemade bombs.



*Hulu is developing a true crime anthology series called The Act that will focus on the people at the center of crimes."In The Act we’re going to show you the human story behind bizarre crimes.” It sounds similar to other anthologies like American Justice,FBI Files, Forensic Files, Disappeared, Snapped, etc. The first episode will focus on Dee Dee and Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
