Taylor Swift broke her instagram silence yesterday to promote Selena Gomez's new single "Fetish."  She did this previously for the band HAIM and her friend Lorde.

US Weekly reports that she's staying undercover on purpose.

US Weekly writes that a source said, "Taylor and Joe are the real deal.  This is a very serious relationship, but after what happened with Tom Hiddleston, they were determined to keep it quiet."

She wrote: "Sultry pop magic from this dreamy almost-birthday-girl 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏"

  • New Line agreed that it would be rated R from the start and didn't make any attempt to censor the film. There was never any move to make it PG-13.

Billboard Is Over The Male Dominated Charts. Here are 5 Women They Recommend to Takeover

Rihallah recently ended the longest lady drought on the BB Top 5 since 1972(!) with Wild Thots. It wasn't too long - late 2014, since solo women occupied all top 5 slots on the Hot 100.

With just-released tracks from Kesha, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, perhaps the pendulum could swing back toward women residing in top of the Hot 100, but probably not lbr. While it’s impossible to predict, here are 13 5 ladies Billboard would like to see crash the Hot 100 sausage party.

CupcakKe

Woke kween CupcakKe’s lyrics make Khia’s “My Neck, My Back” seem tailor-made for Kidz Bop. With song titles like “Cumshot,” “Deepthroat” “Juicy Coochie” and “Spider-Man Dick,” it's obvious CupcakKe wears that parental advisory sticker as a badge of honor. In fact, in the video for "CPR," an ode to oral sex, the always-grinning rapper simulates fellatio on a corncob.

Dua Lipa

Although she has 18 million monthly Spotify listeners, the bit's highest Hot 100 notch is No. 72, with “Blow Your Mind (Mwah).” That peak could perhaps be bested soon: her latest music video, “New Rules,” premiered July 7 has already logged over 13 million views. Not since P!nk have we heard a rising pop star with such a neat, smoky tone.

DeJ Loaf

Since Igloo topped the Hot 100 with “Fancy” in 2014, only one other female rapper has reached the top 10: Azealia Banks Nicki Minaj. Given that there are nine male rappers in the top 10 this week alone, this is absurd. While there are several lady emcees who can spit bars as hard as their male counterparts, few may be poised for future chart domination as DeJ Loaf.

Cardi B

Another emcee who could find her way to the upper reaches of the charts is Love & Hip-Hop: New York star Cardi B. Her first major-label single “Bodak Yellow” just debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 85 (July 22). Given her Instagram notoriety 7.6M followers and her cred in the hip-hop community (she’s shared the stage with Lil' Kim and Remy Ma), we’re anticipating big things for this Bronx native.

SZA

Few artists are as buzzworthy as the St. Louis-born SZA. Her debut studio album Ctrl snagged the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200 and her video for “Drew Barrymore” has drawn viral attention thanks to a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo from the song’s namesake. If there’s any justice in this world, the raspy R&B singer-songwriter will be boxing chart heavyweights like Ed Shitstain and Bruno Mars in no time.

Britmas in July - listen to Britney's unedited Glory vocal takes and moar

The perks of having an extensive catalogue that spans two decades? Material always finds its way to the web! This week we were #blessed with a collection of Britney's unedited vocal takes from the recording sessions of her critically acclaimed album Glory #buyGloryoniTunes as well as yet another Toxic recording session. Enjoy!

Here's Britney orgasming recording Toxic (different from the version that leaked a while back)

And finally remember Britney's short comeback club tour in 2007? It was entitled M+Ms (Mother and Miss) and since cellphones and other recording devices were banned quality footage is pretty rare. This seems to be changing with a high quality recording of her Do Somethin' performance from the tour's first stop in San Diego surfacing on Youtube yesterday.

French Army Band performs Daft Punk medley for Macron and Trump on Bastille Day

- The marching band spelled out the names of French cities along the parade route, and performed a medley that included "Digital Love,""Get Lucky,""One More Time," and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" to the delighted French president and confused American president, who had probably been extremely excited for his very first military parade when he woke up that morning.

- The presidents' meeting concluded with an incredibly awkward handshake, confirming that, yep, Trump is still red-assed about the first one.

- For those who can't watch: it's a 30-second long grapple, including an attempt to pull Macron off his feet, that isn't even broken up when Trump pulls the French first lady into an embrace.

kelelamDid y'all see that one award show where Brad Pitt was introducing David Oyelowo for an award and decided to make a mockery of his name? He had to get up on stage after that and accept an award. It was traumatic to watch cuz of my experience with my name being stomped on. Maybe he (like all of us) have gotten really used to being praised and shat on at the same time. Perhaps it was that he knew it would only harm his career to drag a white man with that type of power at an awards ceremony. For whatever reason, he just smiled and kept it moving.
---
When I was 5, my kindergarten teacher taught my entire class how to write our names. Mine took so much longer to learn than everyone else cuz my shit has hella letters in it. When I sat down next to her for the lesson, she told me my name was "kah-lay-lah" and I remember trying to correct her. She wasn't having it and then proceeded to teach me this new pronunciation. I was 5 and couldn't really figure out how to stop her, and then as I got older, the need to fit in became more dire, so it stuck. From that day until I was out of high school, I went by that Americanized version so that it (read: I) would be "easy" for everyone else to digest.
---
But fr fr, how hard is Kuh-Luh-lah? I think it has more to do with a (not exclusively, but distinctively American) attitude toward difference. Like, no one wants to take the time. The thinking is that your parents should have never named you that if they didn't want you to have a hard time. If you are one of those people who uses the excuse "I'm horrible with names" or "I already know I'm gonna fuck this one up" or one of those people who sees the name and likes to look all distressed or sound it out in an obnoxious way, please stop wit all the extra. It only speaks to how uncomfortable you are with difference and with things you don't know about. Make a genuine attempt or ask me how to pronounce it... it's kuh-luh-lah....not kuh-lay-lah. ---
