Taylor Swift Skips Out On 4th of July Party

0
0

As ONTD knows, Taylor throws a 4th of July party at her beachfront Rhode Island house every year with all of her famous friends. However, this year she chose not to throw a major party, but only had close friends, family, and her new boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. When speculating on this PR move, a source(Taylor's publicist) shared, "She got buried in media being on top of her life during the last relationship, so she tried everything in her power to not have that happen again. She worked very closely with her security team and management to make sure her life going forward was private. All of that madness really affected her."

“Absolutely. It’s going to be really fun and I’m really excited,” Gaga told cohost Katie Atkinson when asked if she’d consider performing new tunes while on the road.

“The stage [for the tour] has been designed and it’s being built. We’ve been building the story of the show since the Super Bowl... and lighting is a big thing this year. The stage is very different from anything we’ve ever done before.”

-Wants fans to see a deeper look at her life and aura: "Joanne is: a woman looking out, putting a hat on, and saying to herself, ‘I’m about to go somewhere because I’m getting out of here. And I don’t know where I’m going..."

+ Star is Born soundtrack was composed by her and entirely original.

- Follow-up to this post

- Daniel Dae Kim spoke about his exit from the show making it clear it was a contractual issue, but keeping it classy because he's that type of guy

- CBS (the same network that treated the Criminal Minds actresses like shit) released a statement saying both Daniel and his co-star Grace Park were offered large and significant salary increases

- Rumor has it that both Daniel and Grace had been seeking equal pay with their mediocre white co-stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan

- CBS says they hope to work with both Daniel and Grace again, respect their talent and whatever

Oh, CBS...

Do you keep it classy with you former employers or do you want them to burn, ONTD?

ONTD Original: Underrated Black Sitcoms

0
0

Remember Martin, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Living Single, Girlfriends, A Different World, The Steve Harvey Show, Bernie Mac Show, Sister Sister, and more awesome black sitcoms were on television. Or remember when there was television channels that had an abundance (lol not really but more than now) of shows with a predominately black cast on channels like UPN/The WB and few times with a main networks having these shows. Now there is just one black sitcom on one of the major networks (Black-ish since The Carmichael's Show has been canceled).

So I made this list of other black sitcoms we might have forgotten or a sitcom underappreciated while it was on air. Also I believe all the shows I have on my list on still being seen on channels like MTV 2, Bounce, Centric and TV One.

The upcoming film “Blind,” starring Alec Baldwin as a novelist who loses his sight in a car crash.
It has drawn criticism for casting an able-bodied actor as the blind lead.
The Ruderman Family Foundation, a leading organization advocating for disability rights, spoke out against the film :
“Alec Baldwin in ‘Blind’ is just the latest example of treating disability as a costume. We no longer find it acceptable for white actors to portray black characters. Disability as a costume needs to also become universally unacceptable.”
