- Retired tennis player John McEnroe made a sexist remark about Serena Williams saying if she played on the men's circuit, she'd be ranked "like 700 in the world."

- Full quote: "That doesn't mean I don't think Serena is an incredible player. I do, but the reality of what would happen would be I think something that perhaps it'd be a little higher, perhaps it'd be a little lower. And on a given day, Serena could beat some players. I believe because she's so incredibly strong mentally that she could overcome some situations where players would choke 'cause she's been in it so many times, so many situations at Wimbledon, The U.S. Open, etc. But if she had to just play the circuit — the men's circuit — that would be an entirely different story."

Serena, who's pregnant with her first child right now, responded on Twitter.

After years of torture by Marlene's terrible twisted plot lines, the day has almost arrived, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS WILL FINALLY END!

Before the series finale, and hopefully a viewing party lead by our good sis secretlytigress , here's a recap of everything we want to know (but there's a lot missing!!)

1. What is Wren's role in this mess?
Seriously, why? And they showed him again for a few seconds because... ?? Why?

2.Give us the T about the Wine Moms getting out of the basement.
You know, for future reference.. just in case I get trapped (and drunk) in a basement.

3.Who is Alison's baby daddy?
Emison is raising this baby UGH FFS WHY?! but who is the sperm donor? Was the sperm stolen? Does the father know? Is it A9;s baby? Why did they even do this storyline in the first place?!

4. Who is AD?
This evil mastermind is probably the best criminal in the history of criminals. Poirot, Sherlock Holmes and Montalbano together would not be able to find out his identity (because I'm sure it makes no sense at all!) The people NEED to know (and hopefully, we will not be disappointed!)

5. WHY??
What was the point of this game? Why would an Absolute Degenerate torture those girls for all these years? Why did we keep on watching this show?

In News To Make You Feel Old: 10 Years Ago Paris Hilton Was Released from Jail

-Paris was originally arrested on suspicion of DUI on Sept. 27, 2006, while on her way to In-N-Out.
-Sentenced on May 4th, 2007 to 45 days in prison for violating her parole and driving with a suspended license.
-Was ordered to turn herself in on June 5, 2007.
-On June 7, 2007 her lawyer managed to get her monitored house arrest for the rest of her sentence due to anxiety and panic attacks.
-Prosecutors were not here for it, the judge ordered deputies to pick her up at her house, and sent her back to jail on June 8, 2007.
-Despite being sent back to complete her sentence, Paris was released early due to good behavior and overcrowding on June 26, 2007.

Audiences of Broadway's graphic portrayal of '1984' faint

A Broadway production of George Orwell's 1984 comes with a warning that the "production contains flashing lights, strobe effects, loud noises, gunshots, smoking, and graphic depictions of violence and torture." During the play in London, several audience members fainted and others vomited. Police were called to break up a fight after one staging. At others, audience members yelled at the actors, begging them to stop. The Broadway version stars Duncan Macmillan and Olivia Wilde.

"Though I usually don't provide trigger warnings in my reviews, I feel obliged to do so here," one critic wrote wrote. "The interrogations that Winston undergoes in the play's second half are graphic enough to verge on torture porn."

"We're not trying to be willfully assaultive or exploitatively shock people, but there's nothing here or in the disturbing novel that isn't happening right now, somewhere around the world: People are being detained without trial, tortured and executed," Macmillan told the Hollywood Reporter. "We can sanitize that and make people feel comforted, or we can simply present it without commentary and allow it to speak for itself."

Domestic violence charges filed against Hafþór Júlíus aka 'the Mountain' from GOT

Hafþór's former fiancé has pressed charges against Hafþór for domestic abuse. The charges include multiple incidences dating all through their relationship. Neighbours have called the police to Hafþór's house on three seperate occasions since last December. The most recent incidence happened on June 8, when Hafþór's former fiancé was forced to flee from his house by jumping from the kitchen window and seeking shelter with neighbours.



Hafþór has denied all abuse allegations and said it's all built on a misunderstanding and that it's actually the ex's fault because she's trying to prevent him from seeing their dog, Asterix. He claims that she didn't jump out the window because he prevented her from leaving the house but because she was actually kidnapping the dog. No really.



This past weekend another ex of his, who is the mother of his child, stepped forward and gave an interview revealing the abuse she endured while she was with him from 2007- 2008. She talks in great detail about the mental, physical and sexual abuse she endured. She decided to come forward and tell her story because she had received a letter from child protective services due to the fact their daughter had been present when police were called to his house in January. She also disclosed that when they were together that she had received a letter from Hafþór's relative which basically said "it takes two".

Hafþór responded to the interview in a woe is me facebook post where he claims that he is in fact the victim in this situation, that it was in fact his baby mama who abused him during their relationship and then went on to accuse her of being mentally unstable and making false accusations against him cause she's never gotten over him breaking up with her in 2008.

Since the news first broke Hafþór has been busy threatening to sue news outlet that mention the abuse allegations and trying to deflect the discussion by announcing that he would give all the award money to charity should he win the Iceland's Strongest Man competition again.
When he asked his facebook followers to suggest some charities to donate to women in Iceland were quick to suggest Kvennaathvarfið, a shelter for battered women.

Cameras only started rolling four days ago, but they're not wasting any time in the town with pep and OTT maple syrup heirs.

In what's definitely a dream sequence, Archie and Veronica get married in the park as witnessed by family, friends, a gunman, Skeet Ulrich, and a suddenly living Jason Blossom. Thanks to Brazilian fansites and a site dedicated to shows that shoot in Canada, there's a bunch of photos!

Marvel announces Legacy relaunch

On Friday, Marvel announced the titles that are being released as part of its Legacy relaunch this September. The relaunch begins with the Marvel Legacy one-shot that's supposed to take things back to basics (the same way Rebirth did for DC) and act as a game-changer for the comic industry. Whether it does either we will have to wait and see, but for now Marvel is still being its messy ass self.

Highlights:
-- Marvel doesn't care about what does and doesn't sell and will continue publishing every book currently out.
-- Even books that just ended like Moon Knight and Kingpin are coming back.
-- Some books will undergo title changes: Captain America: Sam Wilson becomes The Falcon, Hulk becomes She-Hulk, etc.
-- Only one new title has been announced: Marvel Two-in-One, starring The Thing.
-- Captain America was not included in the announcement, though most likely coming later as to not spoil Secret Empire.
-- Jane Foster is going to die
-- Amadeus Cho is going to Planet Hulk
-- The Infinity Gauntlet will be returning in Guardians of the Galaxy, right on time for the new Avengers movie.
-- People on twitter were not impressed. Even the source published a later article deriding the relaunch as business as usual.

The Australian Deputy Prime Minister hints at possible perjury charge for Johnny Depp

  • For those who may not recall Depp and then-wife Amber Heard got in trouble in 2015 when they brought their dogs into Australia and failed to declare them, ignoring quarantine laws

  • The case was eventually settled with Heard taking the fall and the couple releasing a video apologizing for their actions

  • Depp is in the middle of a lawsuit with his former financial managers who have now claimed in leaked legal documents that Depp knew that he was violating Australian law when he brought his dogs into the country

  • Deputy prime minister, Barnaby Joyce says that the Australian government will examine whether Depp committed perjury

  • Unfortunately for those of us who wouldn't mind seeing Depp jailed for something the legal experts at the Guardian say this is a no go because he wasn't sworn in when he said he knew nothing about the dogs

The above was Andrew Stanton's reaction to a recent theory from someone who claimed to have the scoop about Andy's dad from Toy Story.

The "true background story" claimed that Woody, Slinky, and Mr. Potato Head originally belonged to Andy's father who had polio. Andy Sr locked away these toys to keep them safe from being destroyed. Then years later on his death bed due to post polio syndrome, he gave the key to his son, who ended up missing watching his dad flatline because he went to go get the locked box.

There were also other details to supposedly fill the gaps on why Woody didn't know he was part of a popular show or who his old owner was, but those don't matter since Stanton (one of the original writers) says that it's bullshit
