Megan Boone has been lobbying for equal representation in the show’s promos with co-star James Spader, which led to the actress taking some backlash from fans online.











Boone was pressed to clarify her intent :

Johnny Depp Issues Apology for Joking About Assassinating Tr*mp

Follow-up to this post.




The apology:
"I apologize for the bad joke I attempted last night in poor taste about President Trump. It did not come out as intended, and I intended no malice. I was only trying to amuse, not to harm anyone."

The White House has released the following statement to CNN regarding the D*pp's statements:
"President Tr*mp has condemned violence in all forms and its sad that others like Johnny Depp have not followed his lead. I hope that some of Mr. Depp's colleagues will speak out against this type of rhetoric as strongly as they would if his comments were directed to a democrat elected official."

Officials of the Secret Services has also chimed in, as threatening the president is a crime under US law:
"For security reasons, we cannot discuss specifically nor in general terms the means and methods of how we perform our protective responsibilities."

Ellen Humiliates Audience Member for Taking More than 1 Free Item on Ellen Show

The whole thing starts at 1:30, but the humiliation begins at the 2:26 mark:

- There was a table of goodies with a sign that said, "WELCOME! Thank you for being a part of our Season 14 premiere week! Please pick 1 item to commemorate your visit. Only 1 per person please."

- Ellen goes on this whole thing about how her audience is very honest, should applaud themselves, etc. then shows one woman wanting to take an extra item, but then putting it back saying, "I'll just buy this", and Ellen gives her the item for being honest - all for the sake of building up the upcoming humiliation

- Then she shows the woman who took an extra item because her sister couldn't make it, and Ellen makes her reveal hers and her sister's names, tells her "you're the kind of person where you go trick-or-treating, and nobody's home, you don't just take the - you take the bowl, you just walk away", lectures her on being a good person for the sake of being a good person, then sets up a high chair called "The Ellen Jail" for her to sit on

Cox: “I grew up thinking that appearance was the most important thing. That’s kind of sad because it got me in trouble. I was trying so hard to keep up, and I actually made things worse. What would end up happening is that you go to a doctor who would say, ‘You look great, but what would help is a little injection here or filler there.’ So you walk out and you don’t look so bad and you think, no one noticed — it’s good. Then somebody tells you about another doctor: ‘This person’s amazing. They do this person who looks so natural.’ You meet them and they say, ‘You should just do this.'The next thing you know, you’re layered and layered and layered. You have no idea because it’s gradual until you go, ‘Oh s–t, this doesn’t look right.’ And it’s worse in pictures than in real life. I have one friend who was like, ‘Whoa, no more!’ I thought, I haven’t done anything in six months. I didn’t realize.”

Her fake ass friends: "I’d see pictures and think, “Oh, is that what I look like?” And I’d ask a friend and they’d say, “Oh God, no.” And I never thought of myself as being delusional. I think photographs do show up worse, so when people in the world see you and write comments that are usually mean, I think, “It can be worse than what it really is.”

Now: “I’ve had all my fillers dissolved. I’m as natural as I can be. I feel better because I look like myself. I think that I now look more like the person that I was. I hope I do. Things are going to change. Everything’s going to drop. I was trying to make it not drop, but that made me look fake. You need movement in your face, especially if you have thin skin like I do. Those aren’t wrinkles — they’re smile lines. I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend.”

She's not totally done with treatments: "I don’t know what the future holds, but I know I want to stay natural. But, they come up with new stuff all the time—it’s crazy how many new machines are out there. I believe in getting laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant. I believe in microneedling. I think microcurrent technology makes sense to strengthen your muscles."

This seems to confirm the popular speculation that the man behind the art is Goldie's close friend and Massive Attack band member, Robert Del Naja. Last year, an investigative journalist discovered that many of the artist's work appeared in locations and dates aligning with Massive Attack's tour schedule. Robert Del Naja has denied ties to Banksy in the past.

During the interview, Ross asked Miley why she refers to herself as being "weird."

At the 11 minute 10 second mark, Miley responds, saying "I feel very genderless, I feel ageless, I feel like I'm just a spirit soul, not even divided by human being. I treat the animals the same or hopefully treat the planet with as much respect as possible."

Hollywood refused to make a movie with Salma Hayek because she's a Latina

Mike White, screenwriter of Beatriz at Dinner, an indie film starring actress Salma Hayek, says the movie almost didn't get made. In an interview with TIFF, he explains that the reasons why his project had such a hard time getting greenlit are purely political.

He said that "it was because of the script, because it was overtly political and button-pushing, and because the lead was Latina. It’s interesting that this film has subsequently received so much attention because nobody foresaw that when they read the script.".

He added: "Studios like Focus Pictures and Searchlight just said, “This is not for us.” I think the market is just not ready for these films because it’s really a place for mainstream movies, just done on a smaller scale. The world of indie pictures has gotten much more conservative, in terms of what they think audiences will want to see and what they can sell, and they just did not see how this movie fit, even though we were asking for very little money. Honestly, I think it was having a Mexican-American female protagonist that made people pause. They’re not gonna say that, but I had another movie I was trying to direct (Brad’s Status) that was equally as challenging. It’s a white male lead, so it was a lot easier to get the money, let’s just say. It’s hard for me to get inside their heads. I knew going in that we had Salma Hayek attached — the most famous Mexican-American actress and an Oscar nominee. "

Jared Leto teased the possibility of the Joker's involvement in the upcoming 'Gotham City Sirens' movie but would not give details. He also loved the Wonder Woman movie; he rented out an entire theater for his band and crew to watch the film. He said he "would be so lucky" if the Joker and Wonder Woman were to interact in a future film.
