+ Agent Orange had a meltdown on twitter today after the WaPo reported last night that Bob Mueller was investigating him for obstruction of justice. After successfully reading off of a teleprompter yesterday about "unity", Agent Orange went apeshit on twitter. He bashed Hillary Clinton, the media, and Democrats. He called it the "single greatest witch hunt" in American history.

+ WaPo also reported that Jared Kushner's business dealings were also being investigated by Bob Mueller and his team along with other trump associates such as Carter Page, Paul Manafort, and Mike Flynn.

Today Arcade Fire released their new single from their forthcoming albumEverything Now - Creature Comfort. You might remember that they played the song live during their Primavera set. They marketed the song as a cereal commercial for some reason:

For 10 idyllic years, young Mija has been caretaker and constant companion to Okja - a massive animal and an even bigger friend - at her home in the mountains of South Korea. But that changes when family-owned, multinational conglomerate Mirando Corporation takes Okja for themselves and transports her to New York, where an image-obsessed and self-promoting CEO has big plans for Mija's dearest friend. With no particular plan but single-minded in intent, Mija sets out on a rescue mission.


From director Bong Joon-Ho (The Host, Snowpiercer) movie stars An Seo Hyun, Tilda Swinton, Paul Dano, Steven Yeun, Lily Collins, Devon Bostick, Giancarlo Esposito and Jake Gyllenhaal.

- She revealed that Netflix flew the cast of 'the Blind Show', 'OITNB' and 'Sense8' to Brazil for Pride Parade. 'Sense8' was filming a big scene over there and Netflix managed to score some actors to participate and promote their shows: receipts 1&2.

These days Selena Gomez seems to be everywhere despite having no talents whatsover. After all, in the age of postmodernism and late capitalism anything is possible. And so, Selena Gomez became one of the biggest stars of her generation. After the ending of her successful Disney show The Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena decided to focus her energy on her passion: acting. To quote ONTD in 2011:''[Selena] hopes that she will be able to give up her singing career one day to focus on her acting career.'' But since most of her post-Disney films flopped and Selena wasn't getting the type of roles she wanted, she could do one thing. Two things actually. Become an Instagram sensation and further her music career... without even singing her songs.

Let me introduce you to Julia Michaels. Julia is a singer and songwriter who has written smashes like Justin Bieber's Sorry, Britney and Tinashe's Slumber Party and Close by Nick Jonas but the artist who has the most songs written by Julia Michaels in her discography is Selena Gomez: Slow Down, Hands to Myself, Undercover, Sober, Revival, Good for You, Me & the Rhythm and Selena's newest single Bad Liar. And while the GP continued to be clueless as per usual, stans noticed that the vocals on some of these songs don't sound like Selena's. Hm.

Here's what Julia sounds like:



Let's begin with Hands to Myself. The song was a big hit that peaked on #1 at Billboard's Top 40 chart. Hands to Myself features Selena's struggle whisper vocals until they explode in the chorus in a way that Selena has failed to show live, and most importantly: doesn't sound like her at all. Where is that vocal power coming from, Sel, and how come it doesn't match your usual singing voice? Let's listen to the song again:



Fast-forward to 0:35.



Is it me or does it sound like they mixed Selena and Julia's demos together?

You can hear Julia's voice as part of the backing track most clearly in this live version at 1:35.

  • The episode would have been about his character surviving a mass shooting and dealing with the trauma

  • Says [paraphrasing] "How can it be too soon when it always happens?"

  • Understands why NBC would pull it from rotation but says it seems like the station "Doesn't think America is smart enough to handle real dialouge" about shootings.

Colin Trevorrow's 'The Book of Henry' is getting universally panned, with some critics comparing it to 'The Room' and 'Birdemic' in terms of how bizarre its awfulness apparently is. It's described by Mashable as 'a quirky feel-good drama about a preteen genius who sends his feckless mother on a revenge mission against a sexually abusive neighbor'.

Of concern to many is the director's upcoming project: 'Star Wars: Episode IX'. Daniel Schindel of The Film Stage commented, "Going forward, Colin Trevorrow hopefully won’t be put in charge of anything too impor — oh, Jesus, that’s right."
