Today's hosts: Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Jedediah Bila and Whoopi Goldberg
Today's 🔥 topics:
The panel reacts to the 1-2 punch sent by the New York Times and the Washington Post. They talk about the appointment of ex-FBI Director Robert Mueller as the special counsel for the RussiaLago (MAKE THIS NAME HAPPEN PEOPLE) investigation. Sunny gushes about Mueller and what he can do during this investigation. Sara thinks that DAG Rosenstein has gotten his revenge on the White House for putting the blame on him for the firing of Comey the Homey. Jed wants to have transparency.

They tackle the topic of House Majority Leader McCarthy saying that 45 was getting paid by Putin. Why didn't the fucking Republicans do anything? Whoopi says it's a clear case of PARTY OVER COUNTRY/PEOPLE/DEMOCRACY/REPUBLIC.

Man sues woman over texting during Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

More @ the Source

  • A man in Austin, Texas filed a lawsuit against a woman from Round Rock, Texas because she texted during their date at the movies. They met on Bumble. The woman claims she left because of an emergency involving her friend.

  • He said she owed him the $17.31 for the ticket and $4 for pizza.

  • AV Club called the guy a "hero" for what he did.

  • The defendant says there was more to the case: "...I chose to end prematurely. His behavior made me extremely uncomfortable, and I felt I needed to remove myself from the situation for my own safety. He has escalated the situation far past what any mentally healthy person would. I feel sorry that I hurt his feelings badly enough that he felt he needed to commit so much time and effort into seeking revenge. I hope one day he can move past this and find peace in his life."

  • After the story went viral, the guy made a Twitter account where he posted their text messages.

  • Why the man took legal action: "I thought to myself, ‘No, there’s no responsibility here. It’s not her friend, it’s her. It’s not her phone, it’s her. It’s not me, it’s her... Here’s what I think: I think the implicit contracts in dating need to stop, because I think that men are being exploited by people like the defendant."

Liam Payne-fully honest about Harry & Neil's Music

"Harry’s song I heard, and I’ll be honest with you, it’s not my sort of music. It’s not something I’d listen to, but I think he did a great job of doing what he wanted to do. That’s the way I’d put it best, I think.”, Liam Payne says about Harry Style's solo effort. Bear's father says his music is more Rack City Bitch inspired versus whatever shit Harry put out. “I think the funny thing is, [Harry] would say the same thing about me because he doesn’t really listen to hip-hop music, whereas it’s like my song’s more ‘Rack City’ [Tyga song] and his song is more of a different era to something I’d listen to, I guess.”, Payne added.
