Matt Asner, a film producer and the vice president of the Development for Autism Society of America, talked about how his autistic children identified with Drax, who doesn't understand metaphors and doesn't have a filter on what he says.
"It's something that happens with a couple of my kids a lot. They don't have that edit button. It's great for them to see a character like this ... Not just for people who have autism, but people who are out there who don't really know what autism is."
"One of the wonderful things about this, they don't say he has autism, it just is. That's really the way it is out in the real world. It's a wonderful thing that he's part of this group, that he's living his own life, that he's dealing with things on his own."
"It's a very positive thing for people who are autistic to look at and enjoy. That's what we need to get to, characters that are autistic and just a part of the world on the screen, instead of making a statement about it."

Life of Kylie will premiere on E! Thursday, July 6 at 10 p.m. with two exciting back-to-back episodes.
Starts at 9PM CEST/7PM GMT/noon PDT

Justin Bieber performed in India for the first time at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai on 10 May 2017. For Beliebers, it was a dream come true. But disgruntled adults complained that the young pop sensation was lip-syncing to many of the songs in his set. Not everyone was happy with how the concert was organised. Beiberconda was in his zombie induced default mode. Not even miming words to his own music and half assed dancing. Fans are upset they spent upwards to $1k to see the human version of a herpe not even perform his hit Baby correct.

She says the persona she created for fame
She says a lot of her past experiences regarding relationships aren't relevant in her life anymore and that's why she has a more positive outlook. She admits that a lot of her past work has been drawn for those experiences.
She says one of her mistakes is that she's always been drawn to men with a bit of an edge, the 'frontman' of the band so to say. She doesn't do that anymore and one day she will write a book called "The curse of the frontman and why you should always date a bassist."
She thinks it would be weird to make music now and not be influenced by American politics given the past 18 months, and that the current political landscape it makes her upset.

No news on how many episodes we can expect for Season 2, just yet!
Shadow questions the terms of his employment when Mr. Wednesday informs him of his plan to rob a bank (because, naturally, every army needs a source of funding). And just when Shadow thought his life couldn’t get any more complicated, he returns to his motel room to a surprising discovery.
The promo has finally been uploaded to youtube, but it may be region-locked, apologies to those who might not be able to see it outside the US =) Here is a youpak link just in case!
Happy the show got its renewal confirmation! A special screening of this Sunday's episode was held last night with GLAAD and I'm liking the reactions so far regarding this specific storyline =) Can't wait for this weekend.
Top of the Lake: China Girl follows detective Robin Griffin as she investigates the murder of a Chinese woman who washes up on Bondi beach.
Elisabeth Moss returns as Robin Griffin and the new cast includes Gwendoline Christie, Nicole Kidman and Alice Englert (Jane Campion's daughter).
Jane Campion co-wrote and co-directed the new series which will premiere at Cannes before being released in September.
The trailer seems to reveal a lot of plot so beware if you don't want spoilers but it also shows who Kidman and Englert are playing:
Alice Englert is playing the daughter Robin gave up for adoption and Kidman plays her adoptive mother.
About: Henry Hill might be a small time gangster, who may have taken part in a robbery with Jimmy Conway and Tommy De Vito, two other gangsters who might have set their sights a bit higher. His two partners could kill off everyone else involved in the robbery, and slowly start to think about climbing up through the hierarchy of the Mob. Henry, however, might be badly affected by his partners' success, but will he consider stooping low enough to bring about the downfall of Jimmy and Tommy?
About: Tom Reagan (played by Gabriel Byrne) is the right-hand man, and chief adviser, to a mob boss, Leo (Albert Finney). Trouble is brewing between Leo and another mob boss, Johnny Caspar (Jon Polito), over the activities of a bookie, Bernie Bernbaum (John Turturro) and Leo and Tom are at odds on how to deal with it. Meanwhile, Tom is in a secret relationship with Leo's girlfriend, Verna (Marcia Gay Harden), who happens to be the sister of Bernie. In trying to resolve the issue, Tom is cast out from Leo's camp and ultimately finds himself stuck in the middle between several deadly, unforgiving parties.
“Days Of Being Wild”
About: Set in 1960, the film centres on the young, boyishly handsome Yuddy, who learns from the drunken ex-prostitute who raised him that she is not his real mother. Hoping to hold onto him, she refuses to divulge the name of his real birth mother. The revelation shakes Yuddy to his very core, unleashing a cascade of conflicting emotions. Two women have the bad luck to fall for Yuddy. One is a quiet lass named Su Lizhen who works at a sports arena, while the other is a glitzy showgirl named Mimi. Perhaps due to his unresolved Oedipal issues, he passively lets the two compete for him, unable or unwilling to make a choice. As Lizhen slowly confides her frustration to a cop named Tide, he falls for her. The same is true for Yuddy's friend Zeb, who falls for Mimi. Later, Yuddy learns of his birth mother's whereabouts and heads out to the Philippines.
About: Douglas Quaid is haunted by a recurring dream about a journey to Mars. He hopes to find out more about this dream and buys a holiday at Rekall Inc. where they sell implanted memories. But something goes wrong with the memory implantation and he remembers being a secret agent fighting against the evil Mars administrator Cohaagen. Now the story really begins and it's a rollercoaster ride until the massive end of the movie.
About: A woman married to the brutal and infertile owner of a dye mill in rural China conceives a boy with her husband's nephew but is forced to raise her son as her husband's heir without revealing his parentage in this circular tragedy. This tale of romantic and familial love in the face of unbreakable tradition is more universal than its setting.
whats your favorite movie from the 1990s??
The Exception, starring Jai Courtney, Lily James, and Christopher Plummer, opens in US theaters on June 2nd.
Summary:Set during World War II, German soldier Stefan Brandt (Jai Courtney) is sent on a mission to investigate exiled German Monarch Kaiser Wilhelm II (Christopher Plummer). The Kaiser lives in a secluded mansion in The Netherlands, and as Germany is taking over Holland, the country’s authorities are concerned that Dutch spies may be watching the Kaiser. As Brandt begins to infiltrate the Kaiser’s life in search of clues, he finds himself drawn into an unexpected and passionate romance with Mieke (Lily James), one of the Kaiser’s maids whom Brandt soon discovers is secretly Jewish. When Heinrich Himmler (Eddie Marsan), Head of the SS, decides to come for an unexpected visit with a large platoon of Nazis in tow, Brandt is forced to make the ultimate choice between following the Nazi party line and following his heart.
The Den of Geek review mentions a scene in which Mieke, the Jewish maid, "outright tries to console" the Nazi soldier Brandt after a "bothersome interaction" with Himmler, and calls him the exception when it comes to Nazis.
THR's review contains this gem: "When the poet Sylvia Plath wrote that 'every woman adores a Fascist,' she probably had someone like Courtney’s Capt. Stefan Brandt in mind. With his Aryan eyes bright blue, concrete abs disfigured by a scar just painful-looking enough to make him sympathetic, and an ineffable air of Weltschmerz, he’s certainly one dreamy Panzer-man."
Jai Courtney says: "He’s a third-generation soldier, a fierce patriot, but what he’s standing for is really in jeopardy. It’s that realization that his Germany, this fatherland, is becoming something so far away from what he’s used to fighting for. Not every man who fought in that (Nazi) uniform stood for those beliefs."
Also from THR's review: "the retired Kaiser Wilhelm (Christopher Plummer), revealed to be a rather cuddly old man once you get beyond the self-aggrandizing monologues and the anti-Semitism"
how do you feel about Nazi romances, ONTD?
-Anya Taylor-Joy will play Magik, sister of Colossus

In last week's issue of X-Men Gold, the X-Men discovered that the Heritage Institute, an anti-mutant think tank, was behind the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. They had paid Mesmero to brainwash the Brotherhood members into comitting terrorist acts to support their anti-mutant policies.
No, The X-Men Don't Torture The Head Of The Heritage Think Tank https://t.co/87FsX4p0Wx— Bleeding Cool (@bleedingcool) May 11, 2017
The X-Men confront the director of the Institute, a woman named Lydia Nance. Kitty has Rachel telekinetically lift Nance in the air, while they threaten to expose her.
Yesterday, the Federalist published an article titled "X-Men Torture Head Of ‘Heritage’ Think Tank In New Comic Book," where they also bashed Marvel for inserting politics in their comics and making conservatives the bad guys in a series that's about an oppressed minority group fighting against their persecution.
Despite the fact that there wasn't any actual torture in the comic, other right-wing sites such as Glenn Beck's website have also reported on the Federalist's fake news.

*Both American Housewife and Designated Survivor did well enough to earn a sophomore season.

Any predictions on how the season will end? Do you think melanie will finally speak in tonights episode? Will we see Hiram Lodge? Do you think Cheryl and her mother killed daddy blossom and staged it as a suicide? Will Veronica and Archie finally get together?
What is the best compliment you've got, ONTD?
Guardians of the Galaxy's Michael Rooker is set to star in a film adaptation of Flannery O'Connor's 'A Good Man is Hard to Find'. The story is about a family in vacation who comes across an escaped murderer named The Misfit and his gang. John McNaughton, who previously worked with Rooker on Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, is directing.
