Perfume Genius Round-up post
Mike Hadreas, better known as Perfume Genius had a very busy week.
If you are looking for actually queer artists shattering gender norms, songs full of vulnerability and heart, catchy, yet not annoyning hooks, you should check his freshly released album 'No Shape', which was written and composed by Mike himself, with some help from Blake Mills (famous for producing Alabama Shakes, Sky Ferreira and John Legend records). Critics agree, it's a strong AOTY contender, a week after the release, it still haven't got a single mixed review on Metacritic.
Few hours ago, he released a stunningly flamboyant visual for 'Die 4 You'. (Don't forget to watch it around your Republican relatives and str8bro boyfriends):
He also left Middle American audiences triggered, performing his lead single, and my personal song of the year, 'Slip Away' on Late Show with Stephen Colbert (unfortunately, neither sound mixing, nor his live vocals gave the song justice, so watch the official video for it first):

Reps say that Chris died Tuesday morning and there isn't an official cause of death but sources close to Boykin think that it was a heart attack.
He is survived by his 9 year old daughter.

Who got eliminated from The Voice? + Charlie Puth performs
The top 10 performed live last night. During tonight's live show, two artists were eliminated.
The bottom three artists were: Vanessa (Team Alicia), Lilli (Team Adam), and Mark (Team Adam). The three artists battled it out for an Instant Save.
During the Instant Save, each artist performs one song of their choice. Following the performances is a five minute window where people tweet who they want to be saved.

2 speed boats. Stand on platform of one boat while it catched up to 2nd boat with a hanging bar. Hang from the bar for as long as possible to drop at a designated spot. Then must swim to shore.

Benjamin Millepied, Natalie Portman's French husband, has a new project after resigning from the directorship of the Paris Opera Ballet!
Carmen will be a contemporary musical drama about "a woman who travels from the deserts of Mexico to Los Angeles in search of freedom." It is inspired by the Georges Bizet opera.
Millepied will both direct and choreograph. His creative team includes composer Nicholas Britell (Moonlight), cinematographer Darius Khondji (The Lost City of Z, Midnight in Paris), and producers Dimitri Rassam (Charlotte Casiraghi's boyfriend) and Helen Estabrook (Whiplash).

- Eva has three sisters, and she is the youngest of the four. She claims that people came up to her mother and gushed over how beautiful her other daughters were, and then they'd ask, "And who's this?" in regards to Eva.
- When Eva entered a beauty pageant in college, her mother told her: “Oh honey, are you sure you want to put yourself through that? You’re not gonna win.” She won first place nonetheless, and was also also rewarded a trip to Hollywood. After starring on The Young and the Restless, she landed a career changing role in 2004 on Desperate Housewives.
- Eva says she uses her years on Desperate Housewives as her film school. Since that show ended, Longoria has worked more behind the scenes, including as an executive producer for the (now cancelled) Devious Maids series, and directing an episode of Jane the Virgin.
- Has a master's degree in Chicano Studies, and she started the The Eva Longoria Foundation to help empower women through education and entrepreneurship.
